*TJ's P.O.V*
It is Cyrus' 16th birthday and I sit in a room with Buffy, Andi, Jonah, Walker, Amber, and Marty.
"Okay, so Marty and Buffy are going to handle music. Walker and Jonah are going to work on decorations. And Amber and I are going to work on food,"Andi says.
"What do I do,"I ask.
"You have to distract Cyrus. Make him think that everything is normal. So take him somewhere and go ahead and give him his present,"Buffy said.
"Why me. Wouldn't he be less suspicious of a suprise party if you two distracted him,"I say pointing at Andi and Buffy.
"Yes but everyone knows that you will be able to distract Cyrus better,"Amber says winking at me.
I blush and say,"Fine."
I run to my house and grab the box with Cyrus' present in it. I then make my way to Cyrus'.
He opens the door and smiles.
"TJ,"He exclaims.
"Happy Birthday Underdog,"I say,"I've got to show you something."
His eyes dart down to the box before yelling to his parents that he's leaving.
We start walking and I lead him to the park.
"Are we going to the swingset,"Cyrus asks.
"Maybe,"I say leading him that way.
We sit down at a bench near the swings.
I hand him the present.
He opens the patterned box and gasps.
Inside is a sweatshirt.
He pulls it out and holds it up.
"IT'S A HUFFLEPUFF HOODIE," Cyrus exclaims happily.
"Yup. It's super soft and warm. And I made sure it was going to be big since you always steal mine,"I say.
"I steal yours because they smell like you,"Cyrus says.
I blush before saying,"Then you can borrow the Slytherin one I have."
He smiles again.
"And there's more,"I say,"Look inside of the pocket."
He digs his hand into the pocket and pulls out the piece of paper.
He reads it aloud,"Love, looks not with the eyes, but with the mind, and therefore is winged cupid painted blind. William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream."
I nod as he looks back up at me.
I lean in and kiss him.
I pull away quickly, blushing, and turn away from him.
"TJ,"He says.
I don't turn to see his face of disgust.
"You probably hate me now so just go,"I say.
"I don't hate you TJ. I could never hate you,"Cyrus says.
I turn back to him looking into his deep brown eyes.
"I love you TJ,"Cyrus says.
My heart stops as my face breaks into the biggest and goofiest grin.
"I love you too Cy,"I say.
We both smile looking into each others eyes.
"Hey Cy, before you head over to see Andi and Buffy, do you want to come by my house,"I ask.
He nods and quickly slides the Hufflepuff hoodie on.
Then I take the box and offer my free hand out to him.
He takes it and we walk back to my house hand in hand.
When we get there I set the box down and take him up to my room.
I throw on my Slytherin hoodie and hop onto the bed next to him.
"What do you want to do,"Cyrus asks.
"I don't know what do you want to do,"I respond.
This goes on for a while and I get a text from Buffy saying that they are ready.
"I should probably head over to Andi's now,"Cyrus says standing.
"Okay,"I respond.
"TJ,"Cyrus says.
"Yeah Underdog,"I say.
"Will - will you be my boyfriend,"Cyrus asks.
I nod as I lean in and kiss him.
"I want you to come with me. I want to tell Andi and Buffy,"Cyrus says.
"Okay,"I respond grabbing my phone and take his hand in mine.
We walk down to Andi's grandparent's house.
He let's go of my hand when we reach the house and knocks on the door.
Bex opens the door and says,"Happy Birthday Cyrus. The girls are waiting in the living room."
I follow Cyrus to the living room and everyone shouts,"Suprise."
Cyrus runs over and hugs Andi and Buffy.
Bex has started the music and I make my way over to where Cyrus is, him pulling me over to where there is less people.
"I want to tell Andi and Buffy later. When it's more private,"Cyrus says.
I nod.
He lifts my arm and puts it around him.
I ask,"Is this okay?"
"Of course. Just try to resist the urge to kiss me,"He says.
"How will I ever be able to survive,"I say dramatically.
He laughs as we make our way back to the dance floor.
