Jennie POV
"Is it true that you killed your parents?"
Silence. Deafening silence. I held my breath, frozen on the spot. Ofcourse I knew it wasn't true, but somehow I doubted. She never told me about it, so it might as well be true.
I peeked at Chaeyoung, who seemed to be saying her last goodbyes already. I bit my lip, the silence only growing as no one dared to talk. Even Lisa's heavy breaths had stopped.
Minutes went by without a single sound. It drove me crazy. And I wasn't the only one. The doctor had lost his patience and harshly pulled Chaeyoung's hair, making her fall to the ground. "I'm going to ask one more time, Lisa" He warned, pointing the gun to Chaeyoung. I heard him load the gun and panicked.
Chaeyoung couldn't die, she's my friend. But if Lisa spoke, the doctor would have his way. I heard Chaeyoung's silent cries and whimpers next to me. She layed on the floor and tried to cover her head with her tied hands. The doctor growled when Lisa still didn't answer. He motioned something to the guard and smirked.
"Alright, how about we try something else."
Suddenly someone pulled my hair and threw me to the floor. I grunted in pain and glared up at the smirking guard, who held a few strands of my hair in his hand. I looked up at Lisa, who's expression had changed. She flinched when the doctor spoke.
"Is. It. True?"
He spat every word with gritted teeth. Lisa started crying again as the guard loaded his gun. But she never spoke, and I knew this was the end. I heard the doctor scoff. "Alright then, have it your way." I closed my eyes, ready for the shot. All that was heard next was a loud 'BOOM!'
Jisoo POV
I parked the car in front of the gates and rushed out, Tae and Jungkook following close behind me. My senses were burning and my brain told me something was awfully wrong. I knew Tae felt the same, so I tried soothing him. Tae was always the kind of person to worry too much, especially when it came to his sisters.
The doors of the hospital were closed, of course. I sighed in frustration. "What now?" Tae asked hopelessly.
Worry and panic was evident in his voice, triggering something in Jungkook. He walked back to the car.
"Wha- Kookie, what are you doing?" Tae asked.
I watched as Jungkook opened the trunk and took out the spare tire.
"Jeon, what do you think you're doing?" I warned.
But Jungkook ignored me, and forcefully threw the tire at the door. The glass broke with a loud screech and flew everywhere. I quickly covered both Tae's head and mine. Jungkook dusted off his clothes and stepped insidse through the broken door. Taehyung and I shared a look.
"He's a keeper." I said, pointing to the door where Jungkook had disappeared.
Taehyung nodded, mouth open in shock. I patted his back and followed Jungkook inside. He was looking at the signs to see which way to go. "So, where would you keep a traumatized, not speaking girl?" He asked.
I facepalmed and pointed to the sign that said 'traumatic treatments'. Jungkook chuckled.
"Oh haha, I knew that."
Tae sighed and ran in the direction the sign pointed.
We ran through the halls, trying to find Lisa's room. I groaned, the feeling that something was wrong only grew stronger by the minute. I could see the panic in Taehyung's eyes, even Jungkook started to worry. We searched for minutes before Taehyung finally found the room. The door was locked, but with Jungkook's strength we had it open in no time. I rushed into the room, only to find it empty. I frustratingly grabbed my hair.
"Where the fuck is she?!" I yelled.
Jungkook patted my shoulder. "We'll find her noona, I promise." Tears brimmed in my eyes as I looked at him.
"How can you be so calm right now? She's your best friend!"
Jungkook nodded. "I know, and ofcourse I'm worried. But if I panic now, I'll never find her. Let's keep looking okay?"
I nodded and walked out of the room. We kept looking, checking every empty room and every office.
After more minutes of searching, I found another room. I tried opening the door, but it was locked. "Guys!" I called. Tae and Jungkook rushed over. "I can't get this open." I said.
Jungkook rolled up his sleeves, but Taehyung motioned him to wait. He put his ear on the door and listened. His eyes suddenly widened and his lips started trembling.
"Tae? What is it?"
He opened his mouth, but no sound came out. I pushed him aside and listened too.
".....alright then, have it your way.."
I copied Taehyung's expression and quickly motioned Jungkook to open the door. He stepped back and lunged forward. He lifted his foot and kicked the door, earning a loud 'BOOM!'.
"Again!" I shouted. Jungkook kicked again, and again, until the door finally flew open.
"What the fu- WHO ARE YOU?!"
A man with a gun shouted. I looked around the room and saw Jennie lying on the floor, and a girl in a chair, crying. Jungkook rushed towards the man with the gun and send a punch to his face. The man stumbled back and dropped the gun. I quickly grabbed it.
Another guy with a gun ran towards me, gun pointed to my face. Since I didn't know how to shoot a gun, I quickly handed it over to Jungkook. Even before the man could reach us, Jungkook shot him in his leg. The man groaned in pain and fell to the ground. Taehyung gasped loudly and looked at Jungkook in shock. But Jungkook had no time for pity as the other guy punched him in his side.
As the two fought, I motioned Taehyung to help the girl I assumed was Lisa. She sat on a chair in the middle of the room, staring at the scene in shock. Taehyung quickly untied her and helped her up.
I searched around the room again for Jennie, but saw someone else instead. A beautiful woman, lying on the floor. I rushed over to her and helped her up. She looked at me with teary eyes. "W-who are you?" She asked with a trembling voice. I smiled and untied her hands. "Jisoo" I shortly answered.
I looked across the room to see Jennie and Taehyung hugging each other tightly, Lisa standing behind them.
"Jen, I love you and all but, I could- oof -use some help.." Jungkook shouted as he got punched in his stomach.
Jennie quickly released the hug and took the gun from the man on the floor. I quickly carried the woman I my arms to the other side of the room and stood in front of her. Jennie pointed the gun to the man.
"Kook, back off!" She shouted.
Jungkook let go of the man and stood behind Jennie. The said girl aimed for the man's shoulder and pulled the trigger. He sank to the floor, crying in pain. Jennie dropped the gun and turned around.
"Let's get out of here." She said.
