"Why'd you left me out there lately?"I said as I out the jar down on my desk,seeing my cousin inside my room,finding something
He stopped and looked at me
"Well...not only the boy seems to be smart and...I don't know which insect to collect!I may be smart but I can fail sometimes too you know!"He admitted
I just rolled my eyes
"What are you searching for anyway?"I finally asked
"Wanting to see our old photo"He said
I first furrowed my brows in confusion,I had absolutely no idea what he was talking about
"Aha!"Until he lift a picture frame
"I know you were keeping this"He showed it to me
Realization hit me,it was a picture of Mephiles and I since when we were young,I remember this was also the day when Mephiles had to move into another country for their business I'm their company
"Why do you need it?"
"I don't know,I just like seeing old photos,that's one of my ways of reminiscing old memories"He explained
I still don't understand this guy,but, nevermind
"Firstly,I'm sorry that I left you with Sonic lately,if you didn't like it. It's due to your father's call. Secondly,how was it?Being with Sonic?The student you hate"Mephiles said
My eyes widened
"How the fuck did you know about that?"
He chuckled
"I'm right. I was getting the feeling and idea that you hate him,because of your grumbling being with him. But that's only a my theory. So I have to make sure my theory's correct. So I planned on asking you how was the so called trip with him. Since I don't know what's happening or what's with you nowadays, I'm not sure that everything I think of you is correct"He explained
"Fuck. You"I said before he burst out in laughing
"Never mind. I won't tell"He winked
I rolled my eyes
"So what happened being with him?"He continued to ask
I remembered the scene where I thanked him,and walked him home. Remembering that makes me want to slam my head into the wall for acting that way...but it also made me feel a little...guilty for what I'm doing to him

What did I just thought?Damn! What's wrong with me. I hate him. I don't feel warm with him!That's a complete absurdity
"Nothing"I firmly said
"What do you expect I do with the most student I despise in the school"I said trying to sound sarcastic
Until he gasped dramatically

Realizing what I said. I looked at Mephiles who seemed stunned too. Until his lips formed into a smirk
"You thanked me? Perhaps you don't despise him Shadow. Oh,my cousin has a boy-crush"He teased
"Fuck you"I cursed
He just laughed
"Don't worry. Won't tell a soul. Now,see ya"He tapped me into he shoulder before walking away

Sonic's POV
Shadow walked me home and thanked me for what I had helped him into
My mind says continuously
I just can't get the fact that,you know,even though he bullies me,he still thanks me when I help him. Even though when his cousin is not there
No!Sonic,remember,it can still all change when you go to school. He can bully you again!
Ugh!Two sides of me fighting!I gripped on my head and ignore the thoughts flowing like crazy in my mind
It's midnight now. I can't sleep though...the other side of me is right. Shadow had been soft to me this that,as I can say?I never thought I'll be seeing his,well not totally but warm side of him. I can't sleep thinking about that now, honestly
For only that being the reason why I'm still awake until now...
