"WHAT THE HECK? WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? YOU SCARED THE HELL OUT OF ME" I scream at the person sitting on my couch. I turn the light on to see it was who I thought it was. Brendan. "Brendan, you scared the hell out of me" I say putting my back down. I take my sling off and sit on the couch next to him. He still isn't looking at me. "Helloooo, is Brendan in there?" I say sarcastically. He turns around and he looks like a mess. He has dark black and blue rings around his eyes, he has lost a lot of weight, I can see his cheek bones. "Brendan are you okay?" I ask, worried.
"Oh Anna" he says with a sly grin. "I'm absolutely fucking fabulous, I have no place to stay because I spent all my money. I have no job because I look like this" he said pointing at his face. "And, I feel fucking terrible" he said with a small chuckle leaning in near me. I nearly pass out from the smell of his breath. Then it dawns on me, I've seen this before in my Mum's side of the family, they are all ex drug addicts and dealers, some even still. His eyes, the weight loss, his breath, he is on some serious drugs. I get off the couch and slowly move towards my bag. "Where do you think you're going? Are you just going to leave me, like everyone else?" he says getting a serious, slightly frightening look on his face.
"Oh it's past 10pm, I have to take my third dose of medication. I'll be right back" I say with a small smile. I walk up to my bag and take out my phone while Brendan isn't looking. I walk into the bathroom and shut and lock the door. I run the tap in the sink so there is a small sound block. I pick up my phone scroll to Logan's contact. I look down at my arm, I click out of his contact and scroll to David's. I press the call button.
"Hey Anna what's up?" David says as the ringing finishes.
"David, I'm whispering because Brendan is at my apartment. He was here when I got home, I don't even know how he got in. How far away are you? I need your help, Brendan is on something serious, drug wise, I think he is dangerous. Please David, I don't think I want Logan to come because I was afraid something might happen again" I explain quietly but quickly.
"Okay I'm pulling over now, it's quicker if I run down Hollywood Boulevard than trying to get through this traffic" he says. I can hear panting. "Okay just hold him up at least ten minutes and I'll be there" says David.
"Okay, if I don't answer the door use the spare key under the mat" I say quickly hanging up. I turn off the tap and go to the toilet. I flush the toilet, wash my hands, unlock and open the door. Brendan is standing right outside the door and I jump.
"God Brendan, you have to stop doing that" I slightly giggle trying to stay calm. I walk past him and go into the kitchen. "Would you like anything to drink or eat?" I ask opening the fridge.
"Anna I'm sick of playing games, I only came for one thing and I want it now. I know that you want it too" he says stepping towards me.
"Um Brendan I don't know what you're talking about" I say stepping backwards, but my back bumps into the kitchen bench. "Would you like a water?" I ask moving past him and go to the cup cupboard and taking out two.
"Anna I don't want water. I want you" he says darkly. At this point I am scared.
"Brendan if you need help, I can help you but you know that I'm with someone else" I said still trying to move away from him as he gets closer and closer.
"I saw you on David Dobrik's vlog with that guy Alex, just give me some of that and a little bit more" he says moving two steps closer to me so that there is only about three inches between us. He goes to grab my right arm. I try to push him away but his grip is too strong.
"Brendan please let me go, you don't want to do this. I don't want to do this please let my arm go" I said trying to pull my arm out of his grasp.
"Logan isn't here anymore to look after you. You are all mine" he says going in to kiss me. I squeeze my lips together and try to turn my head away from him. He starts to try and kiss me. I keep turning my head away but he moves it with his other hand. My left arm is in agony as it is pushed up against the bench behind my back being squished right where it hurts. Then I hear the door lock unlock. Thank God David is back.
"GET OFF OF HER!" David yells and pulls Brendan off me. I see a rage go off in Brendan's eyes. He turns around and punches David right across his face. I see gash on his lip start flowing with blood. I turn around and grab a pan from a hanging pot rack and hit Brendan across the head with it. He slowly sways for a bit and then falls to the ground. David goes to punch Brendan again but I grab his arm and pull him into the bathroom.
"He won't be out for long" I say, fumbling with the lock on the bathroom door. "I'm calling the police" I tell him as I pull my phone out of my back pocket and dial 911. A woman's voice answers the phone.
"911 emergency services, how can I help you?" she asks quickly.
"Hi there is a man in my apartment and he is off on drugs, he tried to force himself on me" I say watching the door handle.
"Do you know the man and is there anyone else there with you?" the lady asks.
"Yes he used to work for my boyfriend" I say.
"Is your boyfriend there with you?" she asks.
"No my friend who lives in the nextdoor apartment came and pulled him off my before he could get what he wanted" I say. The door handle suddening starts to move up and down. I look at David, worried.
"Okay we are sending a car now just stay where you are and stay on the phone" says the woman calmly.
"He is trying to get into the bathroom now where we are locked in" I tell the woman. Suddenly there is a loud crash and the door frame shudders. David goes and stands against the door. "He is running into the door, trying to run it down" I tell her, my breathing heavy.
"Okay stay calm the police are just around the corner" says the lady. Suddenly the door comes crashing down and a red faced, eyes bloodshot Brendan comes storming into the room. I scream and put the phone in my back pocket. David tried to push him out of the way but Brendan is too strong. He punches David in the face and David falls to the ground. He comes at me and I remember my self defence course. I kick him in the nuts which makes him bend over, I then clench my fist and it him with my thumb knuckle right behind his ear in a nerve. He falls to the ground. I run over to David and help him up. I run to the front door where I can hear the police banging on the door. I open it and point to the bathroom.

I sit down next to David after getting us coffees. We are at the police station, we are just waiting for the paperwork to be put through so we can go. I decided not to press charges but for Brendan to be put in a rehab or mental health centre. I put the ice pack back on David's swollen and bruised cheek. He flinches.
"Thank you so much David, I'm sorry that I got you into this mess" I say slowly placing the ice on his cheek.
"Anna as long as you are okay, that's all that matters" he says.
A police officer walks up to us and we both stand up. "So the paperwork has gone through and Brendan will be moved to the closest rehab centre we have. If there is anything else just call us" he says and walks away. I get a shiver down my spine, my arm is throbbing.
"Hey how about you stay at my apartment tonight? I'll pay Dom to clean up your apartment" he asks.
"Thank you so much David you don't understand how much you really have helped my since I got here" I say hugging him.
"Anna it's fine, trust me you have supported me just as much as I have you" he says hugging me back. "Should we go to the hospital tomorrow and get your arm checked up on? All of this wouldn't be helping the healing process" he tells me.
"Yeah that would be a good idea" I say as we start to walk out.

We arrive back at our apartment block and we take the elevator to our floor level.
"I'm just going to grab some clothes and I will be right over" I tell him.
"Okay cool, I'll see you soon, if there are any drug abusing lunatics in your apartment, call me" he laughs as he opens his apartment door.
"Sure will" I laugh as I unlock my door and walk in. The entrance was a mess there was shattered glass all over to floor. I walk into the living room and see Logan sitting on the couch. Oh God, here we go.
"What the fuck happened in here Anna?" he says angrily, but with a worried look on his face.
SO HERE IS ANOTHER CHAPTER AS PROMISED, I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOYED. SORRY IF THIS WAS A TRIGGER FOR ANYONE. I REALLY ENJOYED WRITING THIS CHAPTER BUT IT FELT LIKE IT TOOK A LONG TIME TO WRITE. ANYWAY THIS IS THE LAST DAY OF HOLIDAYS SO SCHOOL IS BACK TOMORROW. I HOPE THAT I WILL HAVE A CHAPTER UP TOMORROW BUT IF I DON'T I WILL DEFINITELY HAVE ONE UP ON WEDNESDAY.
