"Be back in a second." Your best friend nodded as your rushed out of the car and headed into the house.
You tried thinking of where you left your purse but no certain place popped into your mind. You hated barely having a memory. As you began to look around the living room you noticed Michaels shoes.
"He's home?" You didn't know if he was or not but when you left the first time his shoes sure weren't there; or where they.

You hear a girl moan. You were worried what was happening. You slowly head toward the room where the sound was coming from.
Michael.
Michael? Did she just moan his name. You listened closely as you heard a few groans that sounded way to familiar to you.
Bedroom door was closed and locked. You knew what was happening by the sounds that were heard. It wasn't that you were shocked by this. Just hurt. You leave not knowing if you could endure seeing him after his little fun.
"I'm going to fucking kill him." Your best friend -Calum- kept repeating over and over.
"Cal it's fine."
"Catie it's not fucking fine. He cheated on you!"
He was right, but why were you letting him off the hook? You just didn't know what to think. You knew by the way he was out every night that this would happen but not in your home.
"I'm going to call him." You move off the couch and grabbed Calum's phone.
"No you are not. Just don't bring anything up to him. Let me talk to him."
"But I'm going to have to explain to him why I beat the shit out of him." You couldn't help but laugh.
He pulled you in for a quick hug before declaring he was heading to bed. You nodded. Placing yourself back on the couch you couldn't help of think of everything.
The night dragged by. You were waiting for him to call or text you asking if you were okay but nothing came. You were treated as nothing but just a fuck probably. You decided to make the first move. You quickly dialled his number.
Hey, I was about to call you.
Were you really?
Yeah, I waited to see if you would call or text but nothing came through. So I was getting worried and I picked my phone up to call you but you were calling me.
Oh. Mikey we need to talk about something.
This sounds serious, how about you come home and we will discuss anything you want babe.

You stayed seated in the passenger seat of Calum's car. He had been parked in the driveway for a good twenty minutes. You couldn't find the urge to go into the house and talk about this with him.
"I can come in with you." Calum suggested.
"No, I'll be fine." You reassure him as you take a deep breath.
Opening the car door you step out. Calum watches you as you head to the front door. You knock making sure Michael knows it's you. He opens the door smiling before pulling you into a hug. Standing beside him you watch Calum leave. Mikey waves to him which ends in Calum flipping him off before speeding off down the road.
You took a seat on the familiar couch as he took a seat beside you. You keep your hands placed in your lap as you stare at your fingers. You can't think of how to tell this all to him or even bring it up.
"The day I was going to a concert with Calum. I-I" You couldn't get the words out.
"It's okay Catie." Michael reached over and grabbed on of your hands lightly squeezing it.
"I came home to get something and found you having sex with another girl." His hand quickly pulled away from yours.
"Oh"
Is that all he can say is just oh.? You stay looking at him as he seemed to get uncomfortable.
"I might have over thought everything and just -"
"- No Catie, Yesterday I was having sex with another girl."
"But why?" You felt your heart breaking. This was going to be it.
"I got a little carried away I guess. It wasn't meant to happen but it did. It was something I never wished for but I can't change it now."

"Michael this isn't just something that will vanish. You cheated on me."
"Don't you think I know that!" His voice got stern as his eyes met yours.
"I fucked up yes. Okay. Everyone fucks up and life goes on. Having sex with her was stupid on my part. I feel like a ass for doing it." You didn't know what to say.
He was saying everything you wanted him to say when you would confront him with this but does he mean it?
"I don't know if I could trust you again..."
"Trust me, Catie don't just end everything over my one mistake. Please." He started to beg.
You were confused. Everything was blowing up in your face and their is nothing you could do about it. He seemed upset about it all, but was this his true emotion. Did he really feel genially sorry?
Cheating isn't just something you could do once. Cheaters never change. You were that for years but could Michael change? You didn't want to be in this situation anymore.
"Is this the only girl you've slept with while in our relationship.?"
As you stated the question his hand soon moved to run through his hair. The room was quiet as he didn't say anything. You couldn't believe him.
"Maybe a few more. But I'm sorry okay. I was confused about us and I didn't know what the hell I was thinking. Catie just please."
You were speechless. This isnt just something you can forget. This isn't something that will leave the minute to take his apology. Was he even worth it?
"A break -"
"-your breaking up with me?" He questioned cutting you off.
"No, a little beak from each other will help figure everything out." You stated.
"So a break from each other, so we're still in a relationship but a little distance right?" He asked.
"Yes Michael."
"I can handle that. With this break I can prove how sorry I am and maybe change your mind about me being a piece of shit." He spoke with a smile.
"I didn't say you are a piece of shit."
"You didn't have to. I know you were thinking it." You couldn't help but laugh. He just smiled at you. Maybe this break isn't going to last that long.
