Having magic isn't necessarily a bad thing, It's just how you use it that defines who you are, Not because of what you can do or control.
Whether that means you hear about some people creating earthquakes whole others are tirelessly working to fill in the damage.
Or how wildfires start to rage and they need thier own elementalists to help contain it so they can out it out.
As I said, it's not what you have that defines you, But more so why you use your ability...
Stanton: "Look Harry, you're a good kid, I just don't understand why this happened."
Harry: "It wasn't me."
Three years of hard work, Trying so hard to help those around me, Knowing that no matter what I can help someone, and then to have it all crashing down around me.
Stanton: "No one else can do what you do Harry, You need to understand that while I want to so badly believe you, I can't do that when this happens. And with all kinds of magic around the world, Please understand that as a typical human, I need all the doubt I can get. I know you understand what I'm saying but if it wasn't you, Then who was it?"
Harry: "I don't know. But I intend to find out."
Stanton: "Harry you can't leave here just yet."
Harry: "Yes I can."
Stanton: "Yeah, Yeah I guess you can."
As I stood up from the seat, the hard plastic now leaving a temporary indent on my skin after they pulled me in here shirtless. I stood up and started to walk back to the front counter.
Helen: "Harry... Look I believe you, You know we all believe you, But it's so hard to believe someone when this has never happened before. Please don't leave just because no one knows who did it?"
Harry: "That's not why I'm leaving, I'm leaving to find the son of a bitch who did this."
Helen: "Language young man, I can't convince you otherwise, alright, Dinner will be at 7 OK? I'll see you later."
Harry: "Thanks, Bye Helen."
I don't get humans and thier concept of time, I mean I do get it, it's a way for them to plan something ahead but still.
I walked down the street to the scene of the crime, Trying to find something that can help me figure out what happened here, But of course it had already been preserved completely.
Lachlan: "Any luck Bog?"
Harry: "Fuck you Lachlan."
Lachlan: "Hey woah don't get piss with me just because you can't handle the fact that someone beat you to it."
Harry: "That's not what I mean? I mean fuck you, I know you would have helped these guys in some way."
I saw him as he checked his watch and then looked back at me, Fucking hypocrite.
Harry: "That annoys me too."
Lachlan: "Look do you want the information or not?"
Harry: "Yeah I would like to know thanks."
Lachlan: "It will cost you."
Harry: "What do you want?"
Lachlan: "I want first class for Dubai, That might be fun."
Harry: "Done, now tell me what's going on."
Lachlan: "Alright give me a second."
As I stood there waiting, watching him intently. I couldn't help but stare at him, this hot, fine piece of ass needed to be naked right away and...
FOR FUCK SAKE LACHLAN STOP MESSING WITH MY BOOK WHAT DO YOU WANT!
Lachlan: "Just want to know what's going on is all."
Its the first fucking chapter, Tell him he can figure it out for himself, I'm trying to create something new here and you are already crushing that."
Lachlan: "Is that not your fault for making my character like this?"
Harry: "Who are you talking to?"
Lachlan: "No one."

Lachlan: "He said you should figure it out on your own."
Harry: "Yeah great, framed for murder and stasis manipulation and I get absolutely no help. Thanks for nothing Lachlan."
As I walked back out of the Alley, something flashing caught my eye, I reached down to pick it up, flipping the small coin in my fingers, it had no language I had ever come across and it certainly wasn't currency.
Lachlan:" Oh hey I know what that is."
Harry: "Ask your fucking spirit guide later, right now, I need to try and find someone that can help me out of this mess."
Lachlan: "Why not go talk to Joshua, He's pretty good at this stuff isn't he?"
Harry: "He has to be, It's his thing. Alright I'll talk to you later Lachlan, you fucking weird piece of shit."
Lachlan: "Love you too Harry."
Mages like him, the whole sixth sense as well as self awareness scare me. It's one thing like the mediums that do the whole dead thing, the complete opposite to necromancers but still. Awareness mage worry me, You never know what's going to happen... That's not denying that fact he's alright to look at I guess.
Harry: "Fuck."
I quickly pulled out my phone to see a missed call from Hailey, It never ends well when you miss a call from her.
Harry: "Sorry Hailey got caught up with Lachlan."
Hailey: "I've warned you about him before, Look I just got word you apparently..."
Harry: "It wasn't me."
Hailey: "You know I want to believe you right? But when witnesses have come forward and they traced the essence to You, It's a bit hard to want to believe you when you have so much evidence against you."
Harry: "Yeah I get that, Look I'll do whatever I have to in order to prove my innocence, and I mean that. I refuse to have people think I'm a murderer after I have spent years doing everything for everyone else and never putting myself first. That's not fair on me and you know it."
Hailey: "Alright fine whatever, just come back here, grab some food and I'll get some friends tk go with you alright?"
Harry: "I can do this on my own."
Hailey: "Harry without at least one other Mage you can't do shit and you know it. Syphons and Mimics are two very different magicians."
Harry: "I know, there is always one along the way I'll just take their abilities temporarily to get shit done."
Hailey: "Come back here and I'll send some friends out alright. Just so I know you are safe as well."
Harry: "I'll come by later, I'm having dinner with Grandma Helen tonight at 7"
Hailey: "Alright fine, but I want you here by 10. Just because you are who you are doesn't mean I'm not giving you a curfew, you are still only 19 years old."
Harry: "Yeah yeah I get it. I'll be back by 10. Bye."
Hanging up the phone and putting it back in my pocket, I was determined to prove my innocence, I know it's hard for me to not be charged right now, but still, If I'm the only one to have been charged for it, then they would know it's not me because I can't do Magic without someone else near by to Syphon it from. Just gotta make sure I put it back, otherwise it won't just be the humans coming after me.
