The party was packed as Luke had his hand placed on you lower back as he guided you through the intoxicated teens.
"I don't know about this!" You yelled over the loud music.
"Come on Sheerina, live a little."
You knew he was right. He always told you to live a little, but his point on living was different from yours. Luke hands you a cup as he just smiles at you. Shyly taking it, the nerves come back. You watch as he tips it back swallowing the liquid inside. You stare down in your cup wondering if this was such a good idea.
Glancing back towards your best friend he stares at you, in await for you to do the same thing he once did. Knowing he wouldn't stop looking at you until you do, so you take a deep breath and bring the rim of the red cup to your lips. Slowly tilting it back the warm liquid lids down your throat. You can't but cough a little as Luke begins to pat you back. "Let the fun begin." He mutter before leaving you standing alone as crowds of people start to surround you.

You are on your fifth cup as you just started swaying to the music. No one has talked to you since Luke left. You haven't seen him in awhile, you knew that he probably left you alone so he could hook up with some girl. You noticed the liquid in your cup was getting low once again, you drunkenly smiled as you headed towards the kitchen.
You notice three guys standing around the counter as they laugh about something. You squeeze past them really wanting to fill up your cup again. They look at you with curiosity as you grab the bottle of liquor and slowly pour it into your red cup. Leaving the kitchen you notice everyone pushing past you as they rush outside. The words fight was muttered by many, dropping your newest drink you follow the crowd. Making it outside you notice the crowd of people surrounding what you believe are two people already fighting or close to it.
Pushing through you were curious who these two idiots where. Everyone was chanting someones name but you could barely understand it as everything begin to spin. The alcohol is not settling right with you, you knew Luke would be in the front watching as fights always interested him. You pushed past one person as you were close up to the fight, your eyes widen at the view.
"LUKE!" You screamed causing everyone to go silent.
You watched as the boy let him go as he just walked away. The crowd soon faded as they went back inside to enjoy the party. Slowly you walked over to him as he sit up on the ground. You didn't say anything as you grabbed his hand helping him back to his feet. He kept questioning you asking where you were taking him but you ignored his comments and pulled him until the music was barely heard. You spotted your house only minutes away, Luke kept whining about his car but you were to pissed at him to even care what he was saying.
Opening your front door you entered turning the lights on and instructing him to sit on the couch. He didn't say anything, as he slowly walked over. You headed to the bathroom grabbing the first aid kit. He was messing on his phone when you entered the room, grabbing it you placed it on the table as you made him turn to you on the couch. His lip was split as a little blood escaped from his nose.
You notice a bruise forming around his eye, and around his nose. A small cut placed above his eye - all these cuts and bruises made you want to cry. He kept starring at you as you opened the small white box and grabbed the disinfectant, his eyes widen knowing exactly what would happen when you applied it to a fresh cut.
"Oh no, it will burn." He stated as he tried grabbing the rag from your hand.
You didn't say anything as you just looked at him, he sighed before stopping his attempt to get the rag away from you. He placed his hands in his lap before looking back at you. You slowly brought the rag to the cut above his eye, his jaw clenched and he took in a sharp breath as profanities left his mouth. You couldn't help but giggle at his little fits, you placed your other hand on his cheek as you try to calm him.
His stops moving as your hand makes contact with his face. You thumb lightly caresses his cheek as you start cleaning off the dirt around his face. He moves your hand away from his face as he starts leaning into you. You swore it was the alcohol messing with you but as his lips placed themselves on yours you couldn't help but kiss back. Luke leaned back on the couch as he placed your knees on either side of his waist as you began to straddle him.
"Wait, Wait." You pull away from him.
"Whats wrong?" He questions.
"Why did you get in a fight?"
He begins to laugh. "We start kissing and you pull away just to ask me why i got in a fight?"
"I'm curious." You giggle as he moves a lose strand of hair away from your face.
"Well the prick Jason, he started saying inappropriate things about you so i being your best friend decided to stick up for you. It all end up with me getting my ass beat but being her with you now its all worth it."
You smile, he was defending you. You peck his lips before laying your head on his chest. "I love you, Sheerina."
"I love you too, Luke."
