Aly's POV
"Babe what bag are you gonna use today?" I asked while knocking on the bathroom door "The gray one or yung red mo?" I added.
"Yung red nalang baby, thank you!" she shouted
Months had passed after my proposal, nagstart na din mag-aral si Den sa med school. I really thought after pa ng wedding siya mageenroll pero nagulat na lang ako when she went to my office and told me the 'good news'.
Or so I thought.
FLASHBACK..
"Ger, can you bring me the files regarding Mr. Wong's request? Paki attach na din yung kulang sa inventory na sinasabi ni Dad para macheck ko kung kaya pa nating ihabol today yung delivery. Thank you" utos ko sa secretary ko thru phone, I really don't know bakit nagkakaroon ng problema sa deliveries namin lately, kung hindi kulang, sobra naman.
Minsan naiisip ko na kasalanan ko na din, nagkakandalito-lito na ako sa dami ng trabaho. Well, not that I'm complaining, di naman ako sobrang nahihirapan, naguguluhan lang hahahahaha
Dito kasi sa company ni Chief, I'm the officer in charge when it comes to the hotel's and restau's supplies, as in everything they need. Then sa part ng work ni Den, I'm the chief financial officer, and directly akong nagrereport kay Daddy Mike kaya nagpapaka Jollibee ako, you know, 'bida-bida' hahahahaha
Stressful yet nageenjoy ako kasi I get to learn a lot of things, luckily, next academic year pa mageenroll si Den sa med school kasi daw she wanted to focus muna with the wedding preparation. At yun pa nga, one good thing about it is we still have this 'little' time to spend together. Alam niyo yun? Early out sa work lagi tapos takas every lunch time hahahaha nah, I have the "one of the best" workforce with me kaya di ganun kahirap yung trabaho ko. It's just that, nakakalito nga talaga.
Ding!
I snapped back to reality when I got the email from my secretary.
I leaned forward to my desk to take a closer look on my laptop.
Parang may mali.
Sus! Kaya naman pala e! Ugh!
I slightly pushed my desk to move my swivel chair away and scanned thru my drawer.
Gotcha!
I took one folder out and opened it
I knew it!
Blag!
"Ay pucha!" I shouted as I held on to my chest, nabitawan ko pa yung folder na hawak ko sa gulat.
Pagtingin ko sa pinanggalingan ng malakas na kalabog, i saw a gorgeous lady infront of my door wearing a huge and sweet smile. Ugh! Tanggal pagod!
"Hi baby!" she greeted and walked towards me "How are you? Pagod ba ang baby ko? At gulat na gulat pa hahaha"
"Hi babe, I missed you!" I stood and leaned for a kiss "I'm doing good baby, great actually. Nandito ka na e, tanggal na pagod ko" she chuckled, hay, sarap pakinggan. "What brought you here, akala ko magkikita kayo nila Besh? Kamusta yung fitting niyo ng gowns?"
"About that, may emergency si Besh Ella e and si Amy naman, she had a prior commitment daw. Kaya I texted Bea nalang na magpahinga today kasi galing siyang morning training kanina. Magseset nalang ulit kami ng bagong appointment sa designer within the week." hinila niya naman ako papunta sa receiving area ng office ko and pabagsak na umupo
"Mukhang ikaw yata ang pagod babe ah? Hahaha" umupo naman siya ng maayos and leaned on my shoulder so I placed my arms around her.
"Di naman po, natraffic lang hahaha" she moved closer and looked up to me "I have a good news baby!" she whispered, but I can still feel the excitement, nakangiti naman akong humarap sa kanya
"Ano namang good news ng baby ko hmm?" bulong ko din sa kanya while looking straight into her deep blue eyes, "You seem so happy" I just can't help but to smile even wider when she kissed me
"Very much baby! Happy is an understatement tho" parang kinikilig pa niyang sagot sa akin, geez she's so cute!
"Ano po bang nagpapasaya ng sobra sayo ngayon?"
"Bukod sayo"
Sus! Nagpakilig pa hahahaha
"Here" kumalas siya sa pagkakayakap sakin tapos may kinuha siyang envelope from her bag "See for yourself baby!"
Nanlaki naman yung mata ko when I get to take a glance on the envelope..

I gave her a questioning look but I made sure that she wont see any disappointment in me.
"I received that just this morning babe! Approved na yung application ko sa Ateneo and pwede na akong magenroll for the next term!"
Akala ko ba after wedding pa?
And as if nabasa niya yung naiisip ko
"I just thought na I can start na next term, it wont be a problem naman diba babe?" she asked giving me a pair of dreamy eyes, napailing nalang ako to shrug my thoughts away
"Ofcourse not baby, basta wag ka lang masyadong mapagod okay? Don't stress yourself too much" I forced a smile a tuck a strand of hair behind her ear
END OF FLASHBACK..
Yun na, after that day, she started being busy over her med school. Nagchange na din ako ng off from work, instead na weekend, naging MWF yung off ko cos basically, that's the only way I can do para I still get to spend time with her dahil nga conflicting yung sched namin before.
Mwa!
"Lalim naman ng iniisip mo babe, what's wrong?" tapos na pala siyang maligo
"Wala po, I was just wondering kung kelan kita pwedeng idate?" I asked her smiling and binalik ko yung attention ko fixing her things. And yes guys, we started living together sa condo ko para malapit lang sa school niya and besides, we agreed na gagamitin namin yung house namin after na ng wedding. Ang hirap din kasi kung magkalayo pa yung bahay namin from each other, mas lalo kaming mawawalanng time nun.
Clingy na kung clingy pero di ko na talaga kayang di siya nakakasama lagi. Lalo pa ngayon na, ugh! Basta! Akin lang si Den!
"Why don't we have dinner later, after my class? 6pm sounds good right?" yumakap siya sakin from behind and started kissing my face na nagpangiti naman sa akin, she really does know how to make me smile
"Well that would be great! I'll pick you up by six okay?" nakangiti kong paalala sa kanya, "So you better fix yourself na at baka malate ka pa hahahahaha" i kissed her nose and guided her infront of her dresser
"Baba ka nalang after babe okay? I'll prepare our breakfast lang, para mahatid pa kita sa school before I go to work, I love you!" humalik pa ako sa kanya before ako lumakad palabas ng pinto ng kwarto.
"I love you too baby" nakangiti niyang sagot sa akin bago ako tuluyang makalabas
Sigh! Another busy day! Atleast I have something to look forward to, sana lang matapos agad yung work ko para naman mas mahabang time ko siyang makasama at para na din mabantayan ko siya sa klase (if ever). Pwede naman kasi akong maghintay sa labas ng room nila
Den's POV
"6 pm okay? I'll just text you po kung maagang matatapos yung class ko, okay? Wag masyadong magpapagod ah? And please! Don't skip your meals." bilin ko sa kanya, we're here na infront of my room, wala pa kasi yung prof ko kaya she insisted na she'll stay for a while daw muna
"Yes babe, busy lang talaga na di ko na napapansin yung oras" she explained while scratching her nape, ugh, so cute! "Alam mo naman, kumakayod ako para sa kinabukasan ng mga magiging anak natin" natatawa niya pang dagdag hahahaha
That's so good to hear, alam kong mahal niya talaga ako and wants to spend the rest of her life with me, plus the fact that she wants me to be the mother of her children, our children.
"Aba dapat lang! Pero wag naman sobra ah? Sorry if I'm not always around to take care of you babe, pero promise babawi ako okay? And magaaral akong mabuti para sayo and our future kids" I saw how she blushed after hearing what i just said, kilig na naman yan hahahahaha
"Opo, nakakakilig talaga! Hahaha don't skip your meals din okay? Mahal na mahal kita babe, akin ka lang ah?" she held my hand and placed them on her cheeks
"I love you most baby, forever and always. And I'm all yours to keep" I smiled when I felt her lips on my palm
Ehem!
Sabay naman kaming napalingon sa likod ko. Geez! Nandito na pala yung prof ko hahahaha
"If you wouldn't mind Ms. Valdez but Ms. Lazaro still has a class to attend to. And if you would allow me, may I bring her inside with me?" nakangiting tanong sa kanya ni Dr. Suarez, naku, close na yang dalawang yan!
Kahit naman kasi busy si Ly sa work, she still manages to drive and pick me up from school o kaya naman sa driver ng company (well, kahit pa against sa company policy hahahahaha)
"Ofcourse doc, and I know for sure that you'll never mind kung magpapaalam lang ako sa aking prinsesa saglit, right?" natatawa namang tumango si doc sakanya and gave her a hand gesture saying 'go on' bago pa tuluyang pumasok sa room.
"So I better get going babe ah? Baka magpatawag na naman ng security yang baliw mong prof hahahahaha be good okay? Mahal na mahal kita, I'll pick you up at six" paalala niya sa akin and kissed me on my forehead
"Opo, ikaw din, be great okay? Drive safely Valdez naku! Sinasabi ko sayo" pagbabanta ko naman sa kanya, alam niyo naman yan pag magisa sa kotse, akala mo laging may emergency kung magdrive "At please lang, stop being cute when I'm not around!" dagdag ko pa
"Hahahaha it's natural, silly!" Sus! Yabang! "Sige na po, alis na ako, ayan na naman yung guards oh! Hay! Hahahahaha" tumango naman ako sa kanya and gave her a peck on the lips and smiled
"Bye baby! See you later!" Halik niya ulit sa akin "Bye doc! Thank you for calling the security to escort me, AGAIN!" Hahahaha ganyan din kasi last time, nagpatawag din ng security si Doc para palabasin ng building si Aly dahil daw ang tagal namin magpaalam sa isa't isa.
Nung makita kong nakapasok na ng elevator si Ly, naglakad na din ako pabalik sa upuan ko.
"Inlove na inlove si Ms. Lazaro" pang aasar pa sakin ni LA pagupo ko sa tabi niya.
