"Doll what are you doing?" Dr. Jones asked as she checked me. Her eyes widen as she stared at me.
"N-nothing" I choked out.
She sighed "You have got to be doing something, your blood pressure is through the roof" I started to fear for the life of my baby. My mind was going a hundred miles per hour and I didn't know how to stop it.
"Well" Kavon started. "I think she worries too much about work"
Dr. Jones adjusted herself to hear what Kavon was talking about "Let me hear more" She said as she shot me a stare, that instantly had me feeling guilty. Kavon's snitching ass.
"Well, she is always on the go and is always worrying ya' know?" He said, which was true.
"Well, Eva love you need to slow it down, to lower your blood pressure because if you don't you can develop signs of preclampsia and we don't want that at all because you would have to be hospitalized"
I sighed then focused my attention back on Dr. Jones "So take it slow mommy, we want that precious baby to be healthy and speaking of healthy remember to eat foods high in fiber and I will schedule a appointment next week just to check up on you to see that you meet these needs.. if not I will put you on best rest"
I wiped the hot tear as is ran down my face. I don't want to be on bed rest and I sure as hell don't want to be hospitalized. Dr. Jones turned the machine on after rubbing the substance on my belly. I looked to the screen and my eyes were met with my baby girl.
" Looks like she is going to have Kavon's big ass head" I joked.
"Shut up... my baby girl and I will have big heads together" He replied as Dr. Jones and I laughed. She turned the sound on the machine up and we began to hear light thumps.
"Is that her-r heart beat?" I asked on the verge of tears. I looked towards Kavon and he smiled and then kissed my hand he was holding onto. Her heartbeat filled the room and a smile was upon my face every second of it.

The baby room is halfway done. Some people came to paint earlier today. Her walls are pink with a orange stripe going in the middle. All the furniture pieces are in there, her crib, changing table and dresser is white. Her ultrasound picture are enlarged a bit and they are on the wall in a white frame. Her curtains and orange. We have to get someone to install a closet system so her clothing could be organized.
"Baby.. come rub my feet" I said as I laid on the couch watching scandal. He smacked his lips "No, Hell no!"
"Please..." I pouted as he came closer to me from the kitchen.
He sighed "Okay" and came over to the couch. He sat down and pulled my feet into his lap and being going to work.
"Mm, yeah' I moaned out with a smile. I felt a light flutter in my stomach that caught me off guard. My head snapped back to Kavon.
"What?" He asked with concerned eyes.
"I think she just kicked" I said as I placed my hand on my stomach to feel the flutter again.
"Let me try" He said like her kicking was a damn xbox. He place his hand on my stomach and the flutter feeling came back. I cocked my neck back.
"Why didn't she kick when I put my hand on my stomach and she did with you?" I was definitely feeling some type of way.
Kavon brushed his hand across his waves "Maybe she knows it's daddy" He grinned.
"Nigga shut up" I laughed. I could tell she was going to be a daddy's girl. Daddy's girls are the best, I mean I am one. I think it would be super cute if she was a daddy's girl. I figured we need to to start coming up with names, because I am getting tired of referring to her as "her" or "my baby girl" I want to begin practicing her name.
"Baby you want to get something to eat?" Kavon asked as I walked upstairs.
"Yeah." I replied as I made my way into the bathroom.
"Kavon what are you looking at?" I snapped.
"Damn, I can't look at my beautiful girlfriend" He said in defense. While rolling my eyes I made my way out the bathroom. Kavon came over to me and kissed me. Our tongues began to squirm there way into the each other's mouth.
"Lay down" He demanded. I obeyed without thinking twice about it. He spread my legs.

I sighed "Your right, I have got to do better, baby girl is just taking a strain out on me and then work... ugh" I said as I held my forehead.

I nodded "Alright, Kavon says hello"
The conversation was ended and we were now at Kavon's dinner. He opened the door for me and then grabbed my head, helping me out the car. We both went inside hand in hand. He walked right in and sat down.
"Hello King" A man came up to us with a wide smile on his face.
"Sup, things running smoothly here?" Kavon asked as he looked around. The place was nice, very nice. I noticed one thing about Kavon, when he does something he does over the top. I like it.
"Yes sir, things are" He replied then left.
After eating we wanted to go visit Hazel and Riley. Kavon's business phone began to ring. I rolled my eyes, that damn phone always ringing. After he got off the phone I looked at him.
"We have to go by my barber shop real quick" He said while he changed the traveling directions. I didn't respond.
Kavon
"Stay right here" I exclaimed to Eva. She nodded her head lightly. "You okay babe?" She had pain written all over her face.
"Yeah.. my back just hurt" She wined. I rubbed her thigh "I'll be right back"
I went inside the barber shop and everything was destroyed. Shit was knocked down, it looked as if a tornado went through here. Star was getting some things.
"You the only one here?" I asked and she stopped.
"Yeah.. David just left he said he was coming back" I had to call someone in here quick to clean this shit up whoever this was, they were looking for something. This is why I don't keep the safe or the money here.
"Wh-what happened" Grant said as he came in. Grant is an old cat, he was a friend of my grandma.
"Someone broke in somehow" I cooed. Half of me just wanted to say fuck it and close the shop down and sell it, but a little break in is not going to stop me.
"Aye, y'all I will be ba- I hav to ta-"
Star cut me off "King can we talk"
I sighed heavily "Sure.." We went into the office, I made sure the door stayed opened. Star sneaky as hell, she isn't about to get me caught up.
"What you want?" I growled.
"Why haven't we talked since, I gave oral to you in uh October?" She said as she crossed her arms and screw facing me.
"It isn't my duty to talk to yo' ass Star" I spat back.
She began to sniff "King, I thought you loved me" I chuckled to myself lightly. The nerve of this bitch. One thing I don't like is when hoes get the wrong idea. She was just a quick fuck, and I thought she knew that.
"Look Star.. I really don't lo-"
"Baby what the fuck" Eva said as she came in the office cutting me off. She had a worried look on her face. Eva looked at me then at Star then back at me. "Kavon, who is this?" Eva said as she pointed to Star. Star looked her up and down then at me.
"I thought I told you to stay in the car" I pleaded to Eva and she rolled her eyes giving me the hand.
"Oh so thats why we don't fuck any more? You playing house with this preppy bitch! and she is pregnant" She said with tears covered in her face.
"Yes the fuck I am with his child and he is my fiance and you better watch who you calling a bitch before I punch yo' ghetto ass in the fucking face and Kavon I don't know what y'all have going on here but I guess you can find your own ride home" Eva stared at me for a couple of seconds and then walked out the office. I heard the car speed off and I was now stuck at this damn barber shop. I had to called Bold up, but I have to finish off Star.
"Don't you ever in your fucking life, call the mother of my child and my fiance a bitch" I yelled and her. She had fear in her eyes, but I don't give a damn. She sniffed as she shook her head.
"That is suppose to be me King" She cried out.
"Me an you will ne-ver be anything.." I yelled before walking out. I called a cleaning company to get them to clean this shit up.
Eva
I looked in the mirror at my tear stained eyes and red nose as I wraped my hair. I am sick of these hoes that keep popping up. I slipped on a big shirt and some spandex. I crawled into bed, pulling the covers all the way up to my neck. Kavon and his hoe stressing me out.
The wrapping of muscular arms woke me up. "Kavon get off of me" I snapped I knew it was him.
He smack his lips "At least give my ass a chance to fucking explain!" He yelled. His yelling didn't shake me at all I crossed her arms "I'm listening and stop yelling at me"
"Star and I fucked but that was before we got together" He started. It is always a story behind this girl and that girl, Eva ain't for it.
"Then why were y'all in that back room?"
"Because, she wanted to know why I haven't been talking to her"
I sighed "So when was the last time y'all spoke?"
"Ugh when she sucked my dick back in October" He said quickly. I still heard him though.
"I was two months pregnant K, what the fuck?" I literally yelled.
"Baby it was all her I didn't do anything" He defended himself.
"Kavon, you gone have to grow up, not only for yourself and me but for the baby" I said as I pointed to my bulging belly.
"I haven't did shit since October E.. baby I am trying for you because I love you. Shit, I am in love with you.. please baby I need you, I been cut out them hoes for you"
I looked away from him "Kavon, that sounds all cute but I am going to need some action behind it" I said as I kissed his cheek. He wrapped his arms around me as I laid and I felt those little flutters again. I light smile curved upon my face but was soon flattened out because I have to get up and pee quickly.
