Manik and Nandini are both lost in their own thoughts.
On one side Manik had forgotten the kiss he shared with Nandini that night and On the other side, Nandini was not able to forget that night how hard she tried to forget.
The rest of the day passed by in the similar manner.
Nandini acted normal infront of Manik at the dinner table.
This confused Manik more.
Next day Morning -
Manik's Bedroom -
Manik got up early and got ready as he had to go to the office of Harsh.
While he was adjusting his camera lenses, there was a knock on the door.
Manik went and opened the door and found Nandini standing there with a smile on her face.
Manik - Nandini tum.... aao na.....
Nandini - Nahi. Actually mai dekhne aayi thi ki aap ready hue ya nahi.
Manik - Mai to ready hu.
Nandini - Chaliye chalke breakfast karlijiye.
Manik nodded and both both of them went to have breakfast.
After breakfast, Nandini and Manik left for the college.
Manik dropped her and went to Harsh's office.
He was directed to the Cabin of Harsh by the receptionist.
Manik knocked and entered the cabin and found Harsh busy on phone.
Manik - Good morning Mr. Mittal.
Harsh- Oh Good Morning young man. Please have a seat.
Manik came and sat infront of Harsh.
Harsh - So Manik, I will directly come to the point. You have to start the photoshoot from tomorrow. I want three perfect poses of the model. And you have got two days for it.
Manik- Ok Mr. Mittal. But could you tell me who is the model?
Harsh- She will be here any moment. You can meet her now itself. Till then let's discuss the clauses of the agreement.
After a good 15 minutes, the door of Harsh's cabin opened and a girl appeared.
Harsh- Hello Aliya. Right on time. Come Beta have a seat.
As soon as Manik heard the name of Aliya,he turned back and saw Aliya standing right there.
Both Manik and Aliya were surprised to see each other .
Aliya - Oh My God Manik. Tum.... What a pleasant surprise!!!!
Manik got up and shaked hands with Aliya- Likewise.
Aliya - Hmm..... Now the photoshoot is gonna be interesting.
Harsh- So you guys know each other. Aliya i must say Manik is a great photographer. You will definitely enjoy shooting with him.
Manik - Thank you Mr. Mittal....
Harsh gave the contract papers to Manik and he signed on them.
Manik was all this while stealing glances of Aliya.
Aliya - Harsh Uncle do you mind if I steal your photographer for a while.
Harsh- Ofcourse not Beta. Waise bhi shoot kalse start hoga. So go ahead.
Aliya - Thanks Uncle.
Chale Manik......
Manik - Haan.....
Saying this he left the cabin with Aliya.
Both of them went to a nearby coffee shop and spent some fun time.
Both of them got to know about each other more.
Manik was very happy and he was enjoying Aliya's company very much.
Manik escorted Aliya to her car and then he drove to Nandini's college to pick her .
Nandini noticed Manik's happiness and asked - Kya baat hai Manik aap bahut hi Khush lag rahe ho?
Manik - Khushi ki to baat hai Nandini. Tumhe pata hai jis model ka mai Photoshoot karne wala hu wo kaun hai?
Nandini - Kaun?
Manik - It's Aliya. The top model of the country. Tum mili thi na us din restaurant me usse.... Yaad aaya.
Nandini - Oh Haan. I remember.
Manik - You know something. She is really very sweet and down to earth. We had a long chat over coffee.
Nandini -Hmm...
Manik - What Hmm..... Aren't you happy? Mai kabse isi opportunity ki wait kar raha tha. And finally I got it.
Nandini - Aisa nahi hai. I am happy for you.
Saying this , Nandini faked a smile.
Two days passed by and Manik completed his photoshoot of Aliya for the magazine cover.
Harsh Mittal was very impressed with the photos.
One day when Manik was with Nyonika in the hall, he got a call from Aliya.
Aliya - Hello Mr. Photographer... How are you?
Manik's face lit up .
Manik - Hi. I am good. How are you?
Aliya- awesome as always. Btw aaj Shaam ki kya kar rahe ho?
Manik - Nothing in particular.
Aliya - Great then. Ponds Fashion Week 2016 is coming up. So I have suggested your name for the photoshoot of the models. R u ready for it?
Manik - That's so kind of you Aliya. Ofcourse i am game for it. Now that you have shown faith in me, how can I say no.
Aliya - Cool then. Aaj Shaam ko Ponds ke head office aajana. We will finalise everything there.
Manik - Ok. I will be there on time.
As soon as Manik kept the phone, Nyonika asked - Date pe jarahe ho Aliya ke sath.
Manik - What????? No Mom wo ek new assignment ke baare me deal final karni thi. So going there . Aap bhi na Mom Kuch bhi bolti ho.
Saying this Manik was about to go.
Nyonika - Arey Beta ..... Har baar kaam kaam kabhi to apne liye time nikalo. Aliya is a good girl. I think you should spend time with her. I know you like her.
Manik - Aisa kuch nahi hai Mom.
Nyonika - Acha. Aisa kuch nahi hai to tum Blush kyu kar rahe ho?
Manik - What nonsense Mom . I m not blushing.
Manik turned his head towards another side.
Nyonika - I can see it . Don't hide it from me.
Manik - Whatever......
And he left.
All this was seen by a pair of eyes......
