I sort of played around with this chapter, so I hope you guys love it!! Things will change, but it'll make it better, I promise!!
CLARK'S POV
As I flew back inside the event, it turned out the so-called distress was just a young woman wanting an autograph. I sighed, but I went through with the civilized act of giving her the autograph. I quickly changed back into my suit, before I searched for Y/N.
After a few hours, there was no sign of her. Now, I was deeply worried. I knew I shouldn't have left her alone.
I heard a voice say,"Having trouble, Superman?"
I immediately recognized the voice and pushed Luthor into the wall yelling,"WHAT DID YOU DO WITH HER, LUTHOR?!! THIS ISN'T SOME SICK GAME!"
Lex chuckled saying,"Why, Superman, don't be so aggressive over this!! I'm sure your big friend is making something useful of Ms. L/N."
I tightened my grip around Luthor and asked,"What "big friend?"
Luthor shrugged and blinked saying,"Oh, he's such a sweet guy. He said something about wanting to destroy you and take over the universe, which you knew I couldn't possibly turn down. Plus, I hear Y/N will be in for a surprise, too, so I figured: MY LONG DAYS OF BEING DEPRESSED AND BROKEN ARE OVER!! THIS WORLD WILL FINALLY GET WHAT IT DESERVES, ALL BECAUSE OF YOUR ALIEN BUDDY!!"
I sternly said,"Don't count on it, Luthor. MPD is already on the way, so if I were you, I would try to think of something to stop me from getting in trouble once again.."
Luthor rolled his eyes and looked to the side, while I smiled and flew towards the Watch Tower. Once I made it inside, I HAD to find Bruce or Diana. I went looking for either one, but found both.
That gave me more hope, before I rushed inside the room and Bruce said,"What's wrong, Clark?"
I sighed,"I..I can't find Y/N, and I knew I shouldn't have left her alone at the event tonight. I should've known she was going to be a target being seen with me, but I was too distracted to realize it!!"
Diana put a hand on my shoulder and softly said,"Don't worry, Clark. Bruce and I will find her, alone with anyone else who's willing to help.."
Flash and Green Lantern ran into the room before Barry said,"Hey Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman. Where's Y/N? She was supposed to be helping me out with Iris today.."
I said,"Barry, Y/N's been taken, and we're doing everything we can to find her. Care to give a extra hand?"
Barry immediatelynodded , while Hal offered to help, too.
I smiled, before Bruce turned to me, asking me,"Did Luthor say anything suspicious to you, maybe even a hint or description to help?"
I sighed and said,"He mentioned something about a "big friend," but who could that be? There's many villains about now who would love to make me put up my cape and go back to getting the latest stories.."
Bruce actually chuckled, which made me look at him.
He stopped and mumbled,"Sorry, Boyscout."
Maybe I was a little offended, but I would get over it later. I just smiled a little, but I knew we'd find Y/N; especially with all the smart and intelligent heroes around the Watch Tower. The question was: Where was Y/N now?"
Y/N'S POV
Right now, I was beyond bored. Turned out, the creep that grabbed me worked for Darkseid. I was sure you guys have heard about him before, so I was not gonna say anything.
Currently, I was hanging upside down.
I pondered,"Bruce really needs to try this. This is amazing. Now I know how Bats feel.. If only I could reach my phone or if I had my phone."
I rolled my eyes at the thought, but I just just laid on the floor. Yeah, I was really not in the mood for anything today, but at least I knew Clark or someone should be here eventually. Keeping myself busy or occupied from exploring.. Darkseid walked in my room and I would be lying if I said he wasn't intimidating. I mean, look at him..
He stood in front of me and said,"I've heard many things about you, Y/N. I will say, you're not as pleasant as you're rumored to be, and I like that.."
I did not know how to react to that sentence, but I just said,"I hope you didn't hear anything from my mother. She's sort of upset with me at the moment.."
Darkseid actually looked interested, but I saw something from the corner of my eye. Clark..
I just continued saying,"I sort of told everyone that there's no chance dating my mother."
Darkseid had sort of a playful smile going on, and I chuckled and looked outside saying,"I mean, I didn't mean to tell everyone, but then I "accidentally" sent the message.."
I couldn't help but laugh again, but I said,"Yeah, I got in trouble for it, but I really didn't mean to. Well, I'm glad we got to spend this time together, but I better go.."
Darkseid turned serious again, and that was my cue. I quickly ducked and moved out of the way, before the Justice League came in and to fight Darkseid. I started acting as their cheerleader and intensely watched the fight.
