"Hey everybody." Miciah said, walking into the house.
But she had a girl next to her.
She had brownish-reddish hair, pale skin and a really wide smile.
"Annick, you remember Ashley?" Miciah asked.
"Hi Annick!" She exclaimed.
Annick just nodded her head.
Yeah, she recognized her.
From high school.
She was Miciah's friend but Annick didn't like her one bit.
Everyone noticed it too.
But then the girl ran and gave Annick a tight hug.
She immediately stiffened.
"Remember our rule since freshmen year? No touching."
"Oh yeah, I forgot." She snorted.
Everyone was quite confused.
Annick loved hugs.
Miciah began introducing Ashley to everyone.
Lastly she introduced her to Randy and her smile got even wider.
She leaned down and cut him off guard by hugging him.
"Oh..." He said, awkwardly patting her.
"She didn't hug anyone else." Dario whispered.
Miciah took a seat next to Dario.
"Can I sit there?" Ashley asked Annick, pointing in between her and Randy.
Annick furrowed her eyebrows and got up, moving to Randy's lap instead.
"Do what you want." She shrugged.

"And then my dad took me fishing but I had to miss a day of school." Ashley continued.
Everyone in the room was bored out of there minds with only Miciah pretending to be interested in her story.
"Wow, really?"
"Yeah! Maybe one of you guys would wanna come fishing. What about you Randy?" She said trying to grab his hand but he quickly rested it on Annick's thigh.
"Um...I'm allergic to fish...?" He lied.
"Oh...that sucks." She sighed.
She glanced at the clock and got up from the couch.
"Well I'm gonna take the bus home. It was nice meeting you guys....especially you Randy." She batted her eyelashes.
"Oh um yeah it was nice meeting you too."
"Bye Miciah." She said hugging her.
Before she left, she turned around.
"Bye Annick." She said.
Annick stared down at her phone.
"Bye Annick!"
"What the fuck are you yelling for?" She asked looking up.
"See ya." Ashley waved.
As soon as she shut the door behind her, everyone sighed in relief.
"I was already done with that after graduation. Then you had to bring that shit back into my life?" Annick said.
"I thought maybe she stopped being so annoying after high school." Miciah said in defense.
"Never again mami....never again." Dario sighed.
"I couldn't take it." Daysia said.
"She just kept touching me..." Randy shivered.
"Oh well you didn't seem to mind." Annick said, getting off his lap.
"What do you-huh?"
"Oh I bet you liked getting all that white girl attention. Well you know what? Why don't you go back and get yourself a white girl?" She said, going upstairs.
"But I like dating a black girl." He said following her up.
"Damn what's wrong with her?" James asked.
"She's gotten dumped for a white girl a lot. Anyways, um well she's always given Ashley the cold shoulder. She never liked her."
"I can see why. I would just think you'd be the one to act how she was just acting."
"Nah...I tolerated her."
~
"I don't like this attitude you're giving me." Randy said to Annick at she sat in bed, reading.
"The fuck are you gonna do?"
"Well-um-I..."
"Well-um-I, what?" Annick mocked.
"You're a mean person."
"Well you're a bitch."
"Well you're a...bitchier...bitch."
The two were silent for a bit before bursting into laughter.
"I'm guessing you're not mad at me anymore?"
She smirked shrugging.
"I don't know...you did call me a bitch..."
"But you called me one first." He whined.
She grabbed the pillow and started whacking him on the head with it.
"Stop, whining." She said in between hits.
"I should turn you in for that." He said when she put the pillow down.
"Fight me, Randy." She said getting up.
"I love you." He called.
"Yeah, whatever." She shrugged, leaving the room.
"You're much prettier than Ashley."
She poked her head into the room.
"Boy, I already know I'm prettier than Ashley. I don't need you reminding me." She sassed making him laugh.
When she left, he noticed his phone ringing on the bed stand.
He picked it up, seeing his mom.
"Hey mom." He said picking up.
"Hey honey. You haven't called me in a while. I've been meaning to talk to you....um how have you been? Do you need any money?"
"What did you do?" Randy joked.
"Um well..."
"Mom it's okay, just tell me."
"It's your father."
"Oh great. What'd he do?"
"Not that father. Your real father."
There was a moment of silence.
"What about him?" Randy sighed.
"He's um...he's in California and he...wants to see you."
"No."
"Randy..."
"No, mom. Did you really expect me to say yes?"
"But Zach refused to speak to him too unless you did."
"Well gee I wonder why..."
"Randy he is your father."
"How can you be saying this? He left you with two kids by yourself. Let me guess, his life is going downhill and he wants to just come back like he's wanted in our lives."
"He wants to see you."
"I thought I made it clear that I wasn't gonna talk to him."
"Randy Christian Moore! You are gonna speak to your father even if I have to fly over there and drag you by the hair that you never seem to cut!"
He rolled his eyes, sighing.
"When?"
"Next week, Friday, six o'clock and I will send you the address."
"You already have a date and location in planned?"
"Goodnight Randy, I love you."
"Yeah love you too." He said before hanging up.
