It was a usual Sunday morning as she slept snuggled up in his arms when the sun rays disturbed her sleep and she moved a bit and stretched her arms , her eyes opened to witness two chocolaty orbs looking at her
"Good morning manik" she whispered as she nuzzled unto the crook of his neck
"Good morning beautiful , still sleepy ?" He asked
"Nope !" She said
"Why were you looking at me ?" She mumbled on his neck
"There's nothing wrong in adoring what's mine !" He replied and she blushed
"Chalo utho get freshened up !" He said as he kissed her forehead
"Ugh I don't wanna get out of bed !" She squeaked
"So you're not gonna come ?" He asked with a smirk
"No !"
"Don't blame me for this then !" He chuckled as he picked her up and threw her over his shoulder and walked to the bathroom while all she did was laugh and hit his back
"Pagal !" She yelled between her laughs as he placed her on the slab in the bathroom next to the mirror
"I'll take that as a compliment" He replied and handed her toothbrush to her and they both brushed their teeth together
"I'll do it !" She yelled excitedly as soon as she saw manik getting his shaving kit out of the cabinet and his eyes widened when she said it
"You'll do what ?" He asked with a shocked expression
"Let me shave you na , please !" She pleaded
"Have you lost it nandu !" He replied
"Manik please na , I promise I'll be careful !" She requested with a puppy face
"Fine !" He sighed in defeat "please try not to kill me " he added and she gave him a 'whatever' look
He was standing still as she applied the shaving foam on his face and slowly started moving the razor and he was mentally praying for not getting cuts on his face and she giggled looking at his condition , she was finally done as she wiped his face with a towel
"All done !" She exclaimed
"Not bad murthy , I didn't know my girlfriend had a talent of becoming a barber !" He chuckled and pecked the tip of her nose
"Very funny !" She said rolling her eyes as they headed to make breakfast
"Manik except for music , do you have any other hobbies ?" She asked as he cracked an egg from her head "Ouch ! manik !" She squeaked
"Thi ek hobby, I used to paint but phir I don't know why Mann he ni kiya to paint again , brush uthata tha but samjh nahi aata tha kya paint karun ..."
"Tum painting karte thay aur tum ne mujhe ab tak yeh baat nahi batayi !" She yelled making and akimbo
"Tumne kabhi pooch a hee nahi !" He chuckled
"Yeh acha bahana hai , you should definitely paint something soon , samjhe ?" She ordered
"Okay mam ! Tumhari koi hobby ? He asked
"I am a classical dancer !" She informed
"Really ? what kind" He asked with wide eyes
"Mainly kathak..." she mentioned
" now that's a new piece of information !" He exclaimed
"Well both of us can be full of surprises I guess.." she said and he chuckled
Breakfast was all done and she had just taken a shower as she was brushing her hair when manik came in the room
"Damn man !" She sighed
"What happened ?" He asked
"I am so ugly at times !" She said
"And I am pregnant !" He replied
"What !!" She yelled
"What ? What . I thought we were stating things that are impossible !" He replied and she blushed
As he walked up to her and hugged her from the back and she looked at him , he leaned in a bit and surprisingly pecked her lips
"My baby is the prettiest !" He whispered while she turned completely red
"I love you..." she whispered as she turned around and hugged him
"I love you more !" He replied pecking her hair
It was almost evening as the sun was turning red slowly hiding behind the sea and manik and nandini were acting like a really mature couple (yeah right !) , they were busy playing Marco Polo
"Nandini where are you man I have been trying to look for you from half an hour now I'm tired !" He sighed
"i told you not to take pangas with me , kyun itna boast kar rahe thay ke I'm a champion " she mocked
"Ugh I'm taking the blindfold off !" He yelled
"U dare not to ! " She exclaimed and she was running across when he caught hold of her
"At last !" He yelled as he kissed her hair nd took off his blind fold
"Your turn ma'am !" Ye said as he tied the blind fold on her eyes
He was just , moving behind her , but she suddenly caught him within 5 minutes
"What yaar how did you catch me so early , it took me forever !" He sighed as she removed her blindfold
"Cheating toh nahi ki tumne ?" He chuckle
"Tumhe dhundne ke liye aankhon ki zaroorat nahi hai mujhe, I can feel your presence " she whispered and he hugged her just when his phone rang
"Yaar in phones ki toh main ! Nandini ke aiyyapa Graham bell ki aatma ko kabhi Shanti na mile !" He cried and nandiji laughed at his statement as he looked at his phone to see an unknown number
"Hello ?" He answered
"Hi is this manik malhotra ?" Came a male voice
"Yes ?" He replied
"I am Tarun verma , from Q labels , our C.E.O would like to meet you tomorrow !" He mentioned
"Uhm ok sir but may I know why ?" Manik asked
"Well we can tell you that only once we meet you , so is 9:00 am okay ?" Tarun asked
"Yeah sure !" Manik replied
"Great see you tomorrow !" Tarun exclaimed
"Yeah thanks !" Manik said
"Kon tha manik ?" Nandini asked and he told her about his conversation with Tarun
"Oh my god manik ! This is big !" She exclaimed
"I know !" He replied
"What if they are offering you some project ?" She exclaimed
"I dont know , koi details nahi di hai unho ne and how do they even know about me , I never sent any videos neither did I audition for them .." he said
"Chuck that na , just imagine how great this can be for you !"
"Yeah !"
