Jessica's POV
We were waiting in the waiting room for abour 3 hours. My 'dad' hasn't shown up yet so thats good. I can't believe Sinkara tried to kill my friend.
"Hey Jess. Cant I talk to you for a minute?" a brown haired girl with hazel eyes asked me.
"uh sure?" I say and follow her
"Look. I don't know a good way to put this because either way, it's gonna be bad and-"
"Well just spit it out" I say getting immpatient
"Makayla hired me as a hitman to kill you because you took her dream of being adpoted my One Direction." She says really fast
"Liar" I say
"I have proof." She says and takes out her phone.
"Hey girl. I need your help."
"Yeah whats up?"
"You know who Jessica Schneider is. right?"
"Of course. Shes all over the news as One Direction's adpoted sister."
"Thats what I need your help with"
"Okay?"
"You need to kill her"
"What?! Why?"
"She stole my dream. They were going to adpoted ME not HER!"
"I'm not so sure-"
"Look, Christina five hundred grand keeps you in. If not I'll do it myself"
"Your on your own"
"Okay. But just remember, Karmas a bitch"
"Proof enough?" She asysa and hands me the phone
"Hey whats this?" I ask. It's a voice mail
"I don't know. Lets listen"
"What were you planning on doing?"
"I was going to hire a hitman and kill her but she cancelled on me so I was just gonna kidnap her and scare her a little."
"Cancel your little plan. I will be checking on you later to see if you have"
"Please don't hurt me"
A girl screams in pain.
"You have been warned."
"Wait. What is this mark. Please!"
"You don't think that was Makayla. Do you?" I ask
"It's her number." I'm guessing Christina says
"Theres One more. Lets check it." I say and listen to it
"Christina. I need your help. I'm sitting on my couch and I-I'm hearing weird noises. Shes gonna get me. I sent somebody to adopt Jess and she's gonna come back and get me. P-Please Chistina. You have to help me" Makayla crys
"No one can help you now. I needed her to find her protectors but instead you shipped her off to who knows where."
"Protectors?"
"Jessica needs 4 protectors so the fight will be even"
"What fight?"
"You clueless girl. You should have listened to me"
"NO PLEASE DO-"
The phone got cut off
"You know, I've read some acneint egyptian books that talk about the 4 protectors" She says
"Really?"
"Yeah. Here's my number. Call me anytime day or night and we'll talk." She says
"Thanks. I'll take you up on that offer." I say and with that she leaves
I walk back over to the waiting room to see my so called 'dad' waiting for me.
"Lets go!" He shouts. I shake my head no and run into Makayla's room. To my surprise shes up.
"Hey." She says
"Hi. I need to talk to you."
"Me to. I told Christina to tell you. I'm super sorry. I know it's your abusive step dad and I promise that I will get you to your brother it's all-"
"Jess. Open the god damn door!" He shouts
"Give me your number and I'll call you soon." I tell her. She does and I quickly go to meet me step dad.
"Where do you think your going?" He says
"I'm sorry Jessica!" Makayla says before the door is shut.
He grabs my hair and pulls me into the car.
"You thought you could send me away and get away with it?"
I don't say anything. I just look out of my window and cry
"Well these coming years are gonna be hell for ya." He says and laughs evily
And it has. Nothing but Me cutting, getting abused and my sorry excuse for a brother saying hes sorry
I'm sooooo sorry I haven't uploaded in like forever. I promise I will get back on track. :)
