{Michael's POV}
The room was overcome with silence as soon as the word slip out of our mouths. I couldn't help but get lost in her light blue eyes. I saw her gulp in nervousness which caused me to become nervous.
Was she going to reject me just like Jessica?
Woah, deep breaths Michael. Deep breaths. Just the thought of that possibility made my wolf angry as fuck.
'Oh hell no! We have to show her we don't play around and that we're serious. Don't become lovestruck too easily because there is no way in hell I'm getting burned like we did with Jessica' Peter growls
'Yeah...you're right' I reply
"What the fuck?!" Harry suddenly says as he looks at me. Leave it to Harry to break the moment of silence.
"I thought Jessica is....was, your mate?" Rose trails off when she made that mistake
"Dont talk about Jessica. She's nothing to me. Understand?" I say lowly and they nod silently. I hated the fact that they mentioned my ex mate with my...second chance mate in the room.
"Y-you already have a m-mate?" the girl sutters and I hear the sadness in her voice and let me tell you her voice is fucking angelic.
"Had." I snap
"So, she died?" She counters
"Yes. Well, no. Well, to me she did but she didn't actually- you what forget about it. Tell me your name instead" I prompted but it sounded more like a demand. Shit.
"Um, it's Amethyst but please call me, Amy."
"Cool! Like the stone" Hannah yells and Amy smiles. Such a beautiful smile. Man, I am getting lovestruck.
"Are you gonna ask me my name?" I ask with a raised eyebrow trying to look intimidating and I hear Andrew snicker.
"I already know it. Alpha Michael" She answers quietly. I sniff the air and suddenly realize she is not from my pack.
"You're not from Silver Moon" I state and she nods
"I'm from Nightshade" She responds and Harry's jaw drops
"That's like a two day trip away" Andrew exclaims and Amy shrugs.
"Why are you even here?" Rose asks curiously
"Oh, my dad's the Beta of Nightshade and we had to come for business or whatever. I was bored so I went wondering because I was feeling drawn to this place and here I am!" She grins as she answers and I see her take a glance at me and her grin dies down as she casts her eyes to the floor. Am I scary looking?
"It's a good thing you came then" I smirk and a light pink rushes to her cheeks. Man, she is beautiful. I'm a really lucky guy.
"Um, are we still playing laser tag?" Dylan asks and we all look at him. Adam hit the back of his head making me chuckle. Amy looks at me and I immediately stop making her slightly frown.
"Of course we are" I say and Hannah claps her hands
"Let's go!" Hannah yells and rushes towards Ray who hands her a blue vest.
"Ok, so Adam, Amy, and Andrew are on my team" Harry says
"Hey! All our names start with A...well except for Harry's" Adam yelled before grabbing a red vest and running in the room to join Hannah. Ok then...
I hand a blue vest to Dylan, as well as Rose and then I put one on myself. I look over and see Amy struggling to put her red one on because the buckle got caught in her hair. I have this urge to help her, so I walk over and unhook the buckle part from her soft blond hair.
My hand momentarily grazes her ear and I felt jolts of electricity run through my finger tip.
"Thanks" she whispers her whole face turning crimson making her look so cute.
"Anytime" I smile. I don't think I've ever been this happy.
'Agreed' Peter whispers in the back of my mind as I walk into the dark room.
"5, 4, 3, 2, 1. GO!" the automated voice states once we all enter the room. I quickly dash behind one of the prop walls. With my back against the wall, I slowly move to the right. Then I decided to take a quick look to see if the coast was clear.
"Rose, where's Hannah and Dylan?" I whisper when I see Rose
"I don't know" she shrugs and I see a flash of red behind her
"Rose get down!" I whisper scream and shoot the flash of red behind her
"Fuck man" I hear Harry groan as his vest starts blinking rapidly and then shuts off. I hear Rose laugh as Harry pouts and exits the room.
"PLAYER ONE OF RED TEAM. TERMINATED" the automated voice announces
"Thanks" Rose high fives me
"No problem" I smile and we walk as quietly as we can continuing to survey our surroundings.
"Hannah. Pst...Hannah" Rose tries to get Hannah's attention when we both see her
"Oh! There you guys are. Dylan's over there" Hannah says when she turns around
"Dylan" I say when I see him and he walks over
"Mickey behind" Dylan says and I duck down before spinning around and catching Andrew
"Shit" Andrew says before trying to make a run for it
"I'll try to get him" Dylan yells and takes off before anyone can say anything.
"Ok guys lets keep moving" I announce as Rose and Hannah follow me
"Mickey two reds are ahead" Rose shouts and we all raise our guns. Adam and Amy stood in front of us with their guns raised. Adam made a shot at Hannah but she dodged it narrowly and shot Adam back.
"PLAYER TWO OF RED TEAM. TERMINATED" the automated voice announced as Adam angrily stomps out of the room.
"It's the three of us against you. Give up" Rose says to Amy trying to sound intimidating but it doesn't work.
"Not if I have anything to say about it" Andrew suddenly says walking behind Amy.
"Where's Dylan?" I ask
"PLAYER TWO OF BLUE TEAM. TERMINATED" the voice announces and I groan. Well, that answers my question.
Then, Andrew, out of nowhere raises his gun and shoots Hannah and Hannah looks so shocked.
"I wasn't ready!" Hannah whines
"PLAYER FOUR OF BLUE TEAM. TERMINATED"
"You always have to be ready. Not my fault" Andrew smirks and Hannah glares at him as she leaves.
"Now I guess its two versus two" Andrew chuckles and Rose rolls her eyes
'Rose. Count to three in your head and then run' I mindlink her and she nods
'1, 2, 3' she says in her mindlink and takes off
"What the hell?!" Andrew yells and Amy tries to shoot me but I duck and she misses. Andrew runs after Rose and now it's just me and Amy. She rasie her gun but spin around and kick it out of her hands. Then I raise mine and rest it against her chest, taking her by surprise.
"Ready to give up?" I whisper close to her ear and I notice how she shivers making me smirk
"No." She says and I smirk ready to shoot....wait did she say no? My eyes widen as spins around, elbows me in the stomach and then grabs her gun.
"What the fu-" I started but got cut off when she knocks my gun out of my hands and shoots me. What the hell just happened?
"How...what the..." I stuttered in shock
"PLAYER ONE OF BLUE TEAM. TERMINATED" the voice says and I just continue to look at her in shock
"What's wrong?" she smirks and I gape at her
"PLAYER THREE OF THE RED TEAM AND PLAYER THREE OF THE BLUE TEAM. TERMINATED"
"PLAYER FOUR OF RED TEAM REMAINS. RED TEAM IS THE WINNER!" the voice announces and Amy jumps up and down.
"Yes!" she yells and starts to do a victory dance. Even though I am upset, how can I be mad at her when she's doing a ridiculous dance right in front of me. So, I start to laugh.
"Are you laughing at my dancing?" she gasps and right then Rose and Andrew decide to join us.
"What the hell happened?! You let Amy shoot you?!" Rose yelled as she glared at Andrew.
"The real question is what happened with you and Andrew? How did you both get terminated at the same time?" I ask
"Uh...we shot each at the exact same time. That's how" Rose yells and I chuckle
"Well, good game" I say and raise my hand to shake Amy's
"Yeah" she smiles and shakes my hand giving me internal goosebumps.
"Are you guys gonna let go anytime soon or...?" Andrew speaks up and bring me back to reality.
"Sorry" I clear my throat and Amy nods while blushing
We all walk out of the room and meet up with the others.
"I'm so proud" Harry rushes up to Amy and pretends to wipe away fake tears
"Thanks for making us win Amy" Adam cheers
"You helped too" Amy says to Adam and he grins
"You're right....I did" he says and runs back to Dylan who was still pouting over the loss.
"So, when are you going back?" I ask kinda scared to hear the answer
"In four days" she responds sadly and then all of a sudden she looks nervous about something.
"Are you ok?" I say concerned when she starts turning pale
"Um, yeah. I just...remembered something" she answers and swallows
"It doesn't look like you're happy about what you remembered" I reply and she nods
"I'm not"

After my conversation with my second chance mate, we decided to leave since Adam and Dylan had a curfew. Andrew wanted to stay the night and my mom and dad weren't home because they were out on a date. I'll have to tell them about Amy another time.
"So...Rosalie is nice" Andrew says and I raise an eyebrow
"She is dating Harry" I deadpanned
"I know. Jeez, I just said she was nice." Andrew defends
"Well....why do you think she is nice?" I ask and he shrugs
"I don't really know. There is just something about her aura that alluring" he responds
"Aura?" I chuckle and he frowns
"Don't laugh at me" he yells and throw a pillow at me which I just catch and throw back, making it hit his face.
"Asshole" he mutters and I laugh
"So are you excited that you have a second chance mate?" Andrew changes the topic and I nod
"Very." I say
"I would be too."
