You've officially joined the hoodie, cap, and sunglasses club as Steve, Clint, and yourself sneak into Target in search of Christmas gifts for the rest of the team.
"We rendezvous in two hours at the van," Steve says as you each grab a cart and try not to draw any attention as you stroll inside. "Don't talk to anyone, don't look at anyone. I've been down that ride before. Okay, team. Move out."
You nod, give Steve and Clint a thumbs up, and separate down three different isles.
Not even an hour later, there's a loud crash and high pitched squeals. Your head shoots up, and you leap onto the isle dividers and spot Steve being chased by a pack of girls.
"Please! We just want your phone number!" One shouts, tripping on her heels.
"I'll do anything for it!" Another one adds.
"Excuse me, miss!"
You turn, finding a Target employee by your cart. You sigh, hop down, and apologize before sprinting out of the store. The girls are running around the parking lot, checking inside each car window.
"Damn," Clint stops at your side, resting his hands on his hips as he watches the crazy fangirls. "What I'd do for a fan club like that."
"Oh my god! It's Hawkeye!"
You huff. "You just had to say something.."
He grins, taking your hand as he makes a beeline for the van. Steve's already in the drivers seat, hunkered down until you throw open the doors and jump in.
"Go, go, go!"
