"Shit, shit, shit!" I mentally cursed, throwing the blanket off of me. How the hell do I manage to get late on my first day of college?! Then again it was nothing new. I was always the first one to step into school every first starting day of school year. Like elementary school, middle school, high school, and now college. Well college didn't seem to be that big of a deal but still..I was half an hour late.

I took my time showering, though, so I could be fresh as hell and I also took my time dressing up. I slipped on white shorts and a black V-neck, grabbed my car keys and walked out, then again, taking my time. College could wait.

When I got to college, I raced. Screw taking my time. What if these teachers were strict since this wasn't high school anymore? I ran, risking my own life of falling and tripping, and made it to my first class. History class. I secretly prayed this class went fast because I hated history. It had always been my least favorite class.

The class was full of successful looking people and knowing that they all had decent clothing on, I felt uncomfortable. Although, there were some girls who had decided to look a bit high school type, wearing less clothes than their body appreciated. There were jocks there too. Five of them even had football team t-shirts on. So the only decent ones were the nerds. Other than that, I didn't feel to comfortable now. I didn't enter just yet, knowing that the teacher still wasn't here, so I just stood there observing. Some looked at me as if I had mental problems going on but I didn't care. Who was I suppose to be sitting with? There were empty chairs but I didn't want to be anywhere near jocks or preps. Even college had those.

"Sit with us?" Someone from behind me said, causing me jump slightly. I turned around and smiled.

 "Alexandra!"

"Call me Al so there's no misunderstanding to it," she corrected, passing by me. I nodded and smiled as the other two followed, giving me a comfortable smile. I noticed how the jocks looked at them and I noticed how the preps looked at me. Oh come on! Why is this school filled with them? I think it makes no sense to me, whatsoever.

"We have History together," I mumbled, sitting in between Taylor and Alexandra. Jennifer sat next to Al.

"We have English together as well. We don't go to English until every wednesdays and thursdays."

"Oh, sweet." I brought my attention back to the front, "So when does..this..teacher come in?"

"Hey, what happened to your chest?" Jennifer asked, completely oblivious to my question. I looked down and sighed. The redness was still there.

"Some idiot last night dropped hot coffee on me and the nerves of his-did not even apologize to me! I had a degree burn last night. It was partially my fault, though. I wasn't looking where I was going but still--"

"Who was he?" Al asked, oh so bluntly.

"I...I don't know. It was too dark for me to see. He was tall though..and his voice was..wow," I blurted, smiling awkwardly. The girls chuckled.

"What if you see him again?" Jennifer said, observing me again. There was a mischevious smile plastered on her face that I couldn't quite catch on to but I knew it had to deal with the talk to that guy I tumbled with.

"I doubt it. I don't even know how he looks like. I doubt he knows what I look like. But he knows my name! I am guessing he goes here?"

"You never know, sweetheart, you never know," Al murmured, smiling. I looked at her and chuckled, rolling my eyes.

"Where's the teacher at?" I asked.

"The teacher that worked here doesn't work here anymore. Another teacher took over and he's new to this place," Taylor said, smiling.

"And I heard he's a heart-throber. He's won every women's heart here. Everyone adores him. It's like if you look at him...you don't stop looking. His beauty draws you in," a petite blonde girl said, smiling. I looked at her and smiled.

"He's coming!" A well dressed, tall and skinny girl said, running in like a mad dog. This was just like high school. Girls straightened themselves out. Some puffed out their breasts and some bounced up their curls to make it actually look like their hair was volumized. The jocks laughed and played. The whole classroom ws a chaos while Jennifer, Taylor, Al and I remained calm.

"You will be surprised, trust me," Jen mumbled, winking. I nudged her side and she laughed. I was glad I had three amazing friends who were...somewhat normal. Apart from what I felt when I touched them earlier; I knew they felt it too. Which is why they were always clung to me. Strange yet soothing at some point. I knew I wasn't alone anymore. I kept my gaze in the front and bit my lower lip as a tall, well maintained figure walked in with what seemed like papers in his hands. No kidding when they said his beauty would draw you in. It was like a blow in the face. He was tall and very muscular. His muscles popped out in the right places and even through the white fitted Abrecombie and Fitch shirt he wore. His face was fucking flawless like how is that possible?! How can someone be acne-free, oil-free, dark spots-free? Like these girls that sat with me. I saw nothing. Now even a tiny, visible flaw. His brown hair was well maintained and trousled, well enough to run fingers through them. His clothing looked expensive, period. Everything about this guy, especially his height and muscles looked so familiar.

The girls giggled and waved shyly at them, innocently. Innocent, my ass. Every shifted uncomfortably on their seats as they always struggled to get a peice of him; whereas, I remained still, observing him. He looked so familiar and something about me told me that we had met before. But where?

"Mr. Rivers. That's my name. I'm new here so please help me out. I don't want any funny business going on here just because I look good. Please, everyone. Remain still," his husky voice ordered, chuckling as the girls sat back down on their seats. Seemed like they were oblivious to what he said because of his beauty drawing them in but I was like a peice of string that was too thin to be pulled into. I chuckled.

"Cocky, I see," I mumbled, earning a chuckle out of the girls. His bloody voice seemed so..familiar! His head snapped up as If I had said that out loud or as if he had read my mind or something. It's like a all of a sudden kind of thing. Like, screw-the-rest-let-me-just-get-a-good-look-at-this-girl kind of thing. He chuckled as I raised my eyebrow up.

"Did I say something I wasn't suppose to out loud?" I asked, looking at Jennifer.

"You said his voice seemed so familiar," Jen whispered, nodding. I did? Shit, I did? I hadn't even noticed! I smiled and waved a little awkwardly as he looked away, shaking his head. Then I awkwardly placed my hand down. I observed him scan the papers as he smiled a little while doing it. The classroom was dead silent as they all admired him---observed him, mischeviously,

"Student-teacher relationship illegal now?" I heard someone whisper, popping her gum. Yeah, high school all over again.

"Yes, but if you do it secretly then it's all good. Maybe I should try it," another said.

"Bitch, he's mine." The two girls argued harshly whilst at the same time laughing. I rolled my eyes.

"If I call your name, please speak up. Lauren Mccally?" The petite blonde girl that once spoke to us raised her hands high up for Mr. Rivers to spot. He waved a little, smiling forcefully. I couldn't help but to laugh. It was so obviouse.

He called out everyone's name expect the three of us. When he called Jennifer's, Al's and Taylor's name, my head snapped. All four of them had the same last name. No one realized that and I don't think anyone cared but it hit me like a brick on the face. Brothers and sisters? No--no maybe, I'm just over-exagerating a little. They'd tell me, right?

"Alexandra Rivers?" , He called out, chuckling. Funny thought, he never looked up at anyone when he called roles but he had to look at me. Was I that good looking? He flicked his nose off from laughing and then smiled. The girls around me gave me a nasty look and I smiled. Jealous much?, "Another Alexandra, I see?"

The class went by quick. It was a four freaking hour class but it was so worth it. At least because he was in here..teaching. What is wrong with me! The lecture was related on European history and honest to god, my mind was blank. I couldn't drink in anything he was saying because my focus was somewhere else.

...on him...

The class was dismissed after a bit and the girls took their time walking out the class. Typical thirsty girls. I couldn't help but to smile at how unwanted the girls were feeling. Mr. Rivers was no where close to being drawn in by them. Ouch! I was about to leave the classroom in shame when all of a sudden he spoke up.

"Stay, Alex," his husky voice ordered, without even a glance at me. He shuffled through his papers and then finally set them down, giving me a small heart melting smile. My thoughts were all over the place right now! He was really..intriguing! My legs automatically brought themselves closer to him and I looked at him, gawking. His eyes were..sterling silver! Bloody hell, they were sterling silver! With..with a black spark vining into them. I starred dumbly at him as he chuckled.

"Did I do something wrong, Mr. Rivers?" I asked, snapping out. He sat on his desk and looked at me closely.

"Yes, actually. You stole something. Mind if I have it back?" He said, smirking. That smirk.

"Stole something? Oh, this pencil? I didn't think it was a--" I brought the pencil up in the air for him to see and I didn't think it was such a problem to steal one out of his desk, discreetly, but I was wrong. I'm guessing i'm in trouble for stealing a pencil?

"No, Miss. Misty. I meant my shirt. From last night. You know? coffee and the whole clumsy session?" He completely blurt it out just like that. He knew what my reaction would be so he simply smiled, acknowledging it. I dramatically dropped my pencil on the floor as my eyes went wide open. Someone give me a bomb on my hand so I could blow myself up or something!

"You! You--you're a teacher?! That was you!" There was no brakes on my tongue at this moment. I stood there embarrased as he rolled his eyes. Oh how I wished the ground could just swallow me whole so I wouldn't have to wake up every morning to this. He could fail me now for gods sake!

At the same time, I was satisfied. I thought I had ran into someone very dangerous and by the look of him last night, he looked like he wanted to kill me or something. I had tumbled into someone this HOT, it practically burned me. He was a sin, walking out in public looking like a fresh peice of meat! How could someone with the most rarest eyes look this good; especially a teacher?!

"Yes. Surprised? So many foul words slipped out of your mouth last night, no?" He reminded me, causing my cheeks to flush up. I felt my palms go sweaty as my heart raced. So he remembered. There went my career. There went my everything. He was going to fail me now!

"You're--"

"Not going to fail you," he bluntly said, walking up to me. I stood my ground as he walked up to me, causing my heart to race up. But I blinked, almost as if he had read my mind.

"But..I was being mean and it wasn't really your fault.." the words slipped out of my mouth like a train unable to stop its engine. I felt my cheeks go extremely red as I blurted out the truth. It's like he had hypnotized me into blurting out.

"So you're saying it was your fault?" I remained muted as he threatened me with his looks. I was not going to blurt it out again.

"Okay, so what? You were being an ass and you didn't apologize after your coffee spilled on me! It was hot as hell!" I could swear fire was rushing out of my nostrils but I pursed my lips together as I realized I had said a little too much. When he didn't say anything, I looked down. Shit.

"I'm sorry," he murmured. My head snapped up. Cocky-yet-deliciously looking man say what?

"You're actually apologizing?"

"Should I not?"

"Well..it's just..I'm gonna go now. See you tomorrow, Mr. Rivers." I gathered all my stuff and rushde out without a second thought. I felt his gaze on me and I knew it was powerful because it was doing something to me. He apologized..and I hadn't even done that yet. He didn't remind me to apologize?

What if he was playing a game with me or something? What, nonsence. It's all because of that shirt he wants. Nope, not going to happen. I was going to keep that shirt forever.
