Allison's POV
It was nice being at Johannah's yesterday. Nothing really went wrong. I did noticed that Dan wasn't there the entire time. I didn't ask why though. I didn't want to upset Louis with it since I know he didn't really want to see him. I know it's because of what happened the last time we were there. I don't want Louis to not see his family anymore because of what happened. He should keep going to see him. I know they're happy to have him back in their live's. I know he's a little happy about it too. He was gone for years. I left it up to him if he wanted to go back or not.
I woke up to our alarm going off. I had the sound of that thing at this point. Today is a good reason for it to be going off. We get to see our baby today and find out the sex of it. I know this is something the both of us have been waiting for. I mean I already started buying some things for it. I'm excited about buying everything else since I'm not really sure if I'm having a baby shower or not. We just haven't talked about that.
I felt him move under me , turning off the alarm. I can't help but smile a little as I looked up at him. He smiled, "Good morning, love."
"Good morning, babe."
He softly pecked my lips, "Are you ready to find out the sex of our baby?"
I nodded, "Yes. I've been wanting to know."
"So have I, love. I just really hope we're having a boy."
"As much as I want a girl I have a feeling that it's a boy."
I felt him move some of my hair, "Well either way we're going to be happy."
I smiled, "I know. It all still doesn't feel real yet."
He looked at me a little confused, "Why is that?"
"We've had so much going on and we've pretty much had to hide this since we found out. I tried not to think so much about being pregnant so it wouldn't bother me with having to hide everything."
He placed his hand on my swollen belly, "Well you don't have to worry about all that anymore. Be happy you're pregnant. This should be a happy time for the both of us."
"It is. I'm happy I get to have you here with me."
He smiled before lightly pecking my lips, "I love you."
"I love you."
"Let's get up, love. We don't want to be late."
I shook my head before gently pecking his lips before getting out of bed. It feels like we've been waiting for this appointment for awhile. This is something we've both been wanting to know since we found out I was pregnant. We didn't find out till I was almost done with the first trimester. I wasn't really showing any signs though. It was defiantly surprising to us. We're both happy though. I wouldn't take any of it back.
When I was done getting ready I walked back into our bedroom. I noticed him laying back down with his eyes closed. I can't help but shake my head. He's slept more than I have. He was asleep last night before I was. He can always sleep when we get back though. I'm sure we're not going to be gone that long. I walked over to him before moving so I was straddling him. I noticed him smirk but keep his eyes closed. I moved my hips against his, "You need to get up, babe."
He put his hands on my hips, stopping me from moving them as he opened his eyes, "We won't be going anywhere if you keep doing that."
I shook my head, "We're going."
I started to get up when I felt his hands tighten on my hips. I looked at him a little confused. We need to leave. I don't want to be late for this appointment. He mumbled, "Can I have a kiss first?"
I smiled and nodded before softly pressing my lips against his. I think it's cute hearing him ask. I don't what it is about it but I like it. I guess it shows how much he needs me. I know we both need each other. I really can't imagine being without him anymore. I know he's the exact same way with me. I pulled away sooner than I wanted to but I know we need to leave. A frown started to play on his lips. I giggled a little bit seeing it before getting off him. I reached over, intertwining our fingers as we walked out to his car.
I don't think I've ever been this excited about a doctors appointment before. I mean it it sort of a big day. I'm ready to finish things up in our house and our baby's room. It's nice that Louis is going to be home and he can help me with it all. Honestly he'll probably do a lot of the hard work.
It didn't take us very long to get there. I can't help but smile as we got out of his car. He intertwined our fingers, "Are you happy about this, love?"
I nodded when I noticed him smile before gently pecking my lips before we walked back inside. I squeezed his hand before pulling away to sit down as he went to sign me in. I noticed a few other women here. I can tell they're all defiantly older than me. I know girls my age normally aren't here. Normally they're doing nothing like I have. Especially with being married and being pregnant. They're usually just dating someone. I noticed Louis smile at me as he walked over. He sat down beside me before he grabbed my hand, intertwining our fingers again. I don't mind. I actually like when he's like this in public. We don't have to hide anything here. We never had to here. I guess that's probably why we both liked it so much. I felt him start rubbing his thumb in circles on the back of my hand. It's surprisingly calming when he does that. As I looked around the small waiting room I can't help but notice that he's the only guy in here. I know a lot of guys leave when they find out they got someone pregnant or they're just not very involved with everything. I feel like I got lucky with him. He's been so involved with everything.
My thoughts were interrupted quickly when they called my name for us to go back. They weighed me before taking me back to a room. I hate being weighed. I'm sure I've gained some weight. I don't want to but I kind of don't have a choice in that right now. The nurse took my vitals before mumbling, "The doctor should be in soon."
I nodded as she walked out. I looked over a Louis. He looked a little nervous for some reason. There really is no reason to be right now. I'm sure everything is fine. We're past the part where we have to worry about anything happening. I know there's still a chance that things can happen but it's just a very small chance. "Babe."
He looked up, "Yeah?"
"Come here."
He chuckled, "You're being a little demanding."
I smiled, "Just a little."
He got up before moving over between my legs. He put his hands on my hips. He didn't say anything though. I moved my hands to the bottom of his shirt, "Why do you look so nervous, babe?"
"I just worry that something can be wrong."
I moved my hands to the top of his pants, "I'm sure everything is fine. Everything feels fine at least."
He nodded as I started messing with his pants. I love being able to tease him a little bit. I mean we're the only ones in this room right now. Who knows how long the doctor is going to take. I moved my hand into his pants, gently grabbing him. He started to tense up, "Allison..."
He stopped what he was going to say as I started to slowly pump my hand. I felt his grip on my hips get a little tighter. I can tell he's trying to keep from moaning. He grabbed onto my arm, "Please stop."
I smirked a little bit, "Why?"
He pulled my hand off of him, "This isn't the time, love. If you're still in the mood for anything like this later then we can do whatever you want."
I softly pecked his lips, "I love you."
"I love you."
He pecked my lips before he started to move back over towards the chair. That's when there was knock on the door before the doctor walked in. She smiled, "How have you been feeling?"
"Good."
"Let's see how your baby is doing."
I nodded as I laid back on the table. Louis walked over, intertwining our fingers as she put the gel on my stomach. It was a little cold but it's not too bad. I looked up at the screen and started to see our baby. I can't help but smile seeing it. I still can't believe Louis and I made that. It's still so small. I mean Louis and I aren't exactly big people either. She asked, "Are you two wanting to know the sex today?"
"Yes."
She nodded as she moved the thing around on my swollen belly. She pressed a button and said, "It's a boy."
I can't help but smile as I looked up at Louis. I felt him squeeze my hand as he continued looking at the screen. It's nice seeing him this happy. I know this is what he wanted. I know he wants to name him Lucas and I'm fine with that. I like the name. We can always talk about that when we leave. I looked back at the screen. I can't believe we're going to have a little boy. I noticed her press another button and we could hear the heartbeat. She smiled, "The heartbeat sounds healthy and everything else looks healthy. Would you two like pictures today?"
"Yes."
She wiped the gel off my stomach as the pictures printed out. She said, "Since everything looks fine just make another appointment for in a few weeks to make sure everything is moving along like it should be."
I nodded as she handed me the pictures, "Thank you."
She smiled, "No problem. I hope you two have a nice day."
Louis helped me off the table. I couldn't help but noticed the smirk playing on his lips. I'm not surprised. I felt him kiss my cheek as he intertwined our fingers as we walked out of the exam room. We stopped at the front desk, making another appointment before walking out. I squeezed his hand once we outside, "I'm hungry, babe."
He chuckled, "Do you want to do to the diner then?"
"Please."
He nodded, opening the car door for me. I'm kind of curious to know what he's thinking about all this. He hasn't really said anything. I know he wants a boy and I can tell he was happy but he just didn't say anything. It's a little weird. He's usually pretty open with how he's feeling about things. It's just a little weird. I have a feeling we're going to talk once we're at the diner.
As the waitress walked away I felt Louis' arm tighten around me as we looked at the menu. He still hasn't said anything since we got here. It's making me a little nervous. The waitress walked over with our drinks and took our orders before walking away again. I looked up at Louis and I saw a small smiled playing on his lips as he looked at me. "You're thinking about something, love."
I nodded, "You haven't exactly said anything since we found out we're having a boy."
He smiled, "I'm very happy about it. I've just been a little distracted."
I looked at him a little confused, "Why is that, babe?"
He softly pecked my lips, "I couldn't help but think about what you were trying to do in the doctor's office."
I can't help but shake my head a little bit. I guess I'm not surprised. I should have known that's what he's been thinking about. I did tease him and I could tell it was hard for him to have me stop. I moved some of his hair, "Maybe we can finish it later."
He chuckled before kissing my cheek, "We can deal with that once we're home."
I'm so used to him acting like this. I should have known he was thinking about what we were doing earlier. I feel a little bad for teasing him. We should be focusing on the fact that we're having a boy now. We still have things to figure some things now.
I pecked his lips, "What are we going to name him?"
"I thought we decided on Lucas."
I smiled, "Yeah but I didn't know if you still want that."
"Are you okay with it?"
I nodded, "It sounds perfect to me."
He smiled before pecking my lips, "I can't wait for Lucas to be here."
It's nice hearing him say that. I know he does want him to be here but it's just nice hearing it from him. I'm happy to finish getting things ready for him but first I'm glad we're going on vacation. We both deserve it after what we've pretty much had to deal with all year. We both knew what we were getting into though. I don't regret it. I know I never will. I made the right choice choosing to be with him.
