Alana's POV
I opened my eyes and saw Nate staring at me, he had a lazy smirk on his face.
"Good morning sexy." his raspy voice told me that he hasn't been up to long. I lifted my head and kissed his cheek.
"Good morning handsome." He pulled me in closer to his body and we just cuddled for a while until he said, "lets go have breakfast."
I nodded and went to get up but remembered I was naked, Nate must have noticed my hesitation because he started laughing before picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder. I hit his back multiple times begging him to put me back down but he wouldn't listen.
I decided to take a shower before getting dressed, as I stood in the mirror I couldn't help but admire the bite mark on my neck. When I touched it I felt something shock my fingers causing me to jump back. I love the fact that I'm his now and everyone knows that.
After getting dressed I met Nate outside and we drove to a diner near by, whenever we'd stop at a red light he'd lean closer to me and we'd kiss until people would start honking their horns.
When we arrived at the diner there were a few people from the pack that I recognized but it was mostly filled with humans. Our waitress approached us and I couldn't help but notice the way she looked at Nate. I felt like ripping her hair out. I moved my chair closer to him and he put his arm around me once he did that she snapped out of her trance and asked what we wanted.
When she walked away Nate couldn't stop laughing.
"You should have seen the way you looked at her."
I punched his arm and he acted like it hurt.
"Shut up Nate I don't know what came over me." He laughed again and said "I like it when you act tough."
Before I could respond someone came and stood by our table, I looked up and noticed it was Jace, Nate's um..beta. He pulled up a chair and sat with us.
"I see you too finally mated" he said with a chuckle.
I put my head down to cover the blush appearing on my face Nate squeezed my hand.
"Don't worry about that, and you better not be picturing anything in your head right now."
I couldn't help but sense the playful tone in his voice, how was he so open about our relationship like that? I know he said that Jace and him are best friends but I don't like him discussing our sex life with people. I'll have to tell him that later.
When I lifted my head I saw both of them smiling like idiots straight at me I kicked Nate's leg and that made him stop, he must have said something to Jace in his head because he stopped too.
By the time our food arrived we both dug in. Jace also ordered something so all three of us were eating. When we finished Nate sighed.
"I have some pack business to deal with, we're going to run there as wolves, are you okay with taking the car back home?"
"Yeah I guess, but will you be late?" He shook his head and went to pay the bill, when he came back he kissed me and said he hated the fact that he had to leave me but he'd try to finish as soon as possible. I stood on my toes and kissed him over and over before taking the keys and getting in the car.
When I got home there was nothing to do, I laid down on the couch and closed my eyes. I didn't really get that much sleep last night I smiled when I remembered how amazing everything was! Before I knew it I had fallen asleep.
I was woken up by a pair of lips on top of mine, I smiled for a second but quickly stopped when I realized they weren't Nate's lips. Fear rushed through my body and when I finally opened my eyes I saw the person I never wanted to see....it was Drew.
