Sorry I haven't updated like usual! I've been busy at work and when I get home I eat and literally go to bed. Work is stressing me out because I don't enjoy this new job. But coming home to write helps. So I'll try to update like normal again!

Nina's POV

"Ian?" I tap Ian on the shoulder.
"Mmm?" He groans out.
"Can we go check on my mom and Harlow?" I slide my hand down his arm.
"Nina, baby its 3:00 in the morning. They're both sleeping." Ian sits up.
"I just..wanna check on Harlow." I pour my lips.
"Come on." Ian slides his shirt on.
When we get to my moms room I knock on the door.
She answers it after a minute.
"Nina? Ian? Everything okay." She squints her eyes.
"Just wanted to check on you and Harlow." I say.
"We're fine. Both sleeping." Mom smiles.
"Come in." She says and we walk in.
"She's in the crib over by the bed." Mom shuts the door quietly.
I walk over to the crib and look down to see Harlow sleeping peacefully.
I kiss her on the cheek.
"Was she good for you tonight?" Ian asks as he looks down in the crib.
"Perfect. We went on a walk. It got chilly so we came back and played." Mom yawns.
"Well, we will let you go back to bed. I just wanted to check on her." I say to mom.
"I'll see you guys for breakfast okay?" Mom smiles and hugs me goodnight.
"Goodnight mom." I say.
Ian and I get back to our room and lay back down in bed.
Ian wraps me in his arms.
"I'm sorry I woke you up." I say to him.
"Baby, don't. It's fine. I wanted to check on her anyway too." Ian kisses my shoulder.
"Now get some sleep so we can have all day with her tomorrow." Ian says.
"Okay, goodnight. I love you Ian." I close my eyes.
"Goodnight love, I love you too." Ian says.

Ian's POV

"We should buy those little clip on air freshners and stick them on Harlows diaper." I joke with Nina.
"If she gets them then you get them." Nina winks.
I throw a pillow at her and start laughing.
"What are you reading?" I ask Nina.
She looks up from the iPad.
"Emails from Julie." Nina holds up the iPad.
"She's sent me the date for the first day of filming." Nina shuts the iPad off.
"July 18th." Nina says and grabs her drink.
"July 18th? That's in 2 weeks." I say.
"I know. 2 weeks too soon." Nina grabs Harlow from my arms.
"We need to get a nanny, Ian." She kisses Harlows cheek.
"I know we do. Why can't Elena get pregnant on the show and we could make Harlow our baby." I joke.
"This nanny though, is she going to stay at the house with Harlow or come to set?" I ask Nina.
"I'd like her to be on set. She could stay in the trailer when we film on location and in the room when we film on set." She runs her fingers through her hair.
"Look at you, planning again." I wink.
"Do you think she'll be warm enough?" Nina finishes getting Harlow dressed.
"Nina, she has on 2 layers of clothes. And the blanket. Plus that hat." I put the hat on Harlows head.
"You need to get dressed." I say to her.
She hands me Harlow back and kisses me on the cheek.
"You too smolder. Cover that bite mark up." She taps my shoulder.
I shake my head and smirk.

Nina's POV

"What's the temperature?" I ask Ian and slide my hand in his.
"47." He says.
"But tomorrow, 60." He smiles.
"Really? We can do the bungee swing!" I swing our hands back and forth.
"You mean you can do the swing." He laughs.
"Ian! You're doing it with me! Please?" I step in front of him and give him the puppy dog eyes.
"Please!" I say again.
He rolls his eyes.
"Fine. I'll do it. On one condition." He smirks.
"What condition?" I ask him.
"You take this painting class with me they have at this local paint studio." He smiles.
"I don't paint." I laugh.
"I don't bungee swing either." He adds.
"Ugh! Okay, I'll go paint with you." I turn around and start walking away.
Ian grabs my hand and pulls me back into his chest.
He kisses me softly.
Mom catches up with us, pushing Harlow in her stroller.
"Sorry I kept you waiting. I bought Harlow this outfit." Mom hands me a bag.
"Mom! That's adorable." I show Ian and he nods his head in agreement.
"Well who's ready for some dinner?" Ian asks throwing up both his hands.
"I am." Mom says.
"I'm always ready for dinner." I say and we laugh.
Ian and I walk hand in hand to the restaurant with mom in front of us.
"I haven't seen any paparazzi here." I say when we sit down at the table.
"Just wait. They'll find us." Ian shakes his head.
I tilt my head down on his shoulder and he wraps his arm around me.
"Nina, your dad and brother are going to come visit for a few days when we get back home." Mom smiles at me.
"Really? That's great. I miss dad." I say.
My dad still hasn't met Harlow yet due to his work schedule.
"He's really excited to meet Harlow." Mom taps Harlows nose.
"Hi my name is Candice and I'll be your waitress this evening. Can I start you off with some drinks and appetizers?" Candice says with a smile.
"Yeah I'll take a water." Ian says.
"A tea please." Mom smiles.
"I'll take a water with lemon." I add.
"And can we get the oysters as an appetizer?" Ian asks.
"Of course! I'll be right back with those drinks." Candice smiles and walks away.

Ian's POV

"I'm stuffed." Nina says and places her hands on her stomach.
"Yeah, but when we get back to the room you'll be asking me to order room service." I wink at her.
"Shut up." She laughs.
I shrug my shoulders and smirk.
"I'll keep Harlow again tonight. That is if it's okay with you two?" Mrs. Dobrev asks.
"Nina?" I look at her.
"Just let me feed her again and get her ready for bed." Nina smiles.
"Okay." Mrs. Dobrev says.
"Well are we ready to head back? I could use a nap." I stand up and rub my belly.
"You mean sleep for 9 hours?" Nina laughs.
I wrap my arm around her waist.
I lean into her and whisper into her ear.
"I'll take a short nap before we.." Nina turns her head and puts her finger on my lip.
"Shhhh." She smiles.
