Jackson gazed over Lena. "Miss Weil, I brought my female companion to your house as a guest, but you slapped my woman publicly. Is this your upbringing?"

Seeing that Jackson had found out so quickly that she had hit her, Lena's heart skipped a beat, but her anger quickly dispelled it.

Jackson didn't even bother to ask and was already defending Amelia. This was too much!

Miss Weil couldn't hold back her temper anymore.

"Jackson, you didn't even ask who hit her before blaming me. How can you do this?"

Jackson's expression turned to darken. "So you didn't do it?"

Lena felt a little guilty, so she corrected herself. "Even if I did, you didn't ask me why. Isn't it too indistinguishable for you to say that about me?"

Jackson snorted, "I know Ms. Garcia very well. What's the point of asking?"

Lena didn't expect Jackson to talk to her like that for a female companion. She was so angry that her face turned pale.

"Jackson, how can you do this to me?!"

Jackson couldn't be bothered to watch her act. He said flatly, "Apologies to Ms. Garcia!"

Although Harry was his good friend, he was not familiar with Lena. They had only met a few times, so he naturally would not show her respect.

Seeing that Jackson wouldn't let her go until she apologized, Lena was so angry that she burst into tears. "Jackson, you're bullying me!"

The little girl's cry soon attracted the attention of the crowd. Everyone was holding red wine and standing aside to watch the show, but no one came forward to help Lena.

Seeing something was wrong, Lena quickly pointed at Amelia and slandered, "She was the one who scolded me first. I was so angry that I lost my mind and slapped her. I wouldn't have done this if it weren't for her stirring up trouble. I didn't do anything wrong!"

Amelia was still shocked that Jackson would come forward to seek justice for her when she heard Lena put the blame on her.

Amelia didn't want to pursue the matter initially, but Miss Weil's accusations made her angry.

Just as she was about to ask Lena what she had said to her, a flat voice suddenly came from behind.

"Miss Weil, have you been learning to confuse right and wrong in the past few years?"

The man behind her was dressed in a black suit. Standing under the light, he looked a little bright.

When Amelia heard his voice, she knew who he was. She was grateful he stood up for her, but she dared not look back.

James glanced at Jackson, who was holding onto Amelia's hand, with a gloomy expression.

James slowly walked down the stairs and stood in front of Lena,

"I just happened to pass by when Miss Weil humiliated her."

James didn't show her any respect and exposed her lie, causing Lena to pale.

Lena still wanted to argue, but James glanced at her with highly indifferent amorous eyes.

Lena had never seen such a terrifying look before. Even though his eyes were beautiful, the look was enough to fear her.

Lena was so scared that she immediately shut her mouth. She stood rooted to the spot, not daring to move.

Only then did Harry realize that something had happened to his sister. He quickly pushed through the crowd and rushed over.

Before Harry could ask what had happened to Lena, James gave him an indifferent look.

"The Weil family are really well-educated."

After saying that, James left with his bodyguards.

Watching the show from the side, Paul looked thoughtfully at James's back.

James was indifferent and would never speak up for unimportant people.

This time, he actually stood up to teach Miss Weil a lesson. It was really incredible.

Paul glanced at Amelia, who was standing intimately with Jackson, and his expression darkened slightly.

It must be because of her that James made an exception for her.

He didn't expect this woman to be so capable. Not only could she get Jackson to protect her, but she could also get James to help her.

Paul wanted to go over and teach her a lesson, but after thinking for a while, he gave up.

Even if James didn't want her, he shouldn't be the one to teach her a lesson.

Paul turned around, took his assistant, and left with James.

Jackson looked at the backs of the brothers as they walked away.

He was surprised that James would come forward to help them just now.

On second thought, perhaps Mr. James Evans also looked down on this kind of woman who played tricks behind the back.

Since he happened to see them, he would naturally stand up to uphold justice.

Even though he looked down on Amelia, he had just canceled the engagement with the Evans Group.

Thinking of this, Jackson did not overthink it. He looked at Lena again.

"I'll repeat it. Apologize!"

Harry hurriedly asked Lena what had happened because his good friend was angry.

Lena did not dare to argue anymore. She could only cry and say that she was jealous of Amelia. That was why she slapped Amelia angrily.

Harry's thoughts of helping his sister were immediately dispelled.

He said exasperatedly, "You should apologize!"

After that, he added, "After apologizing, come back with me to our father to get your punishment."

Old Mr. Weil was naturally greeting the elders in the banquet hall. He didn't know what had happened outside for the moment.

He didn't know that the brothers of the Evans family had left. He only thought they had gone out to meet the young people.

If he learned that James had been angered by his daughter and loft, he would slap Lona twice to teach her a lesson.

Since her brother had asked her to apologize, Lena could only apologize to Amelia, no matter how reluctant she was.

Jackson was very dissatisfied with Lena's gnashing tone and unresigned expression.

Jackson still wanted to say something, but Amelia stopped him. "Mr. Collins, let's go."

Although Lona had slapped her, she had lost her reputation tonight. It was usual for a little girl to be unhappy.

Amelia didn't intend to argue with her anymore. She just wanted to teach her a lesson and let her remember it.

Lena had hit Amella today. The Well family couldn't make up for it if she hits Jackson's fiance in the future.

However, Lena naturally didn't know what Amelia was thinking. She only felt that Amelia was the culprit who had caused her to lose face!

As soon as the banquet ended, Lena cried and complained to her father and brother, "you must seek justice for me!"

Hearing her crying, Ray slapped her in the face. "How dare you cry in front of me after offending James!"

Lena instantly stopped crying and looked at Ray in disbelief. "Dad, how dare you hit me?!"

"If I didn't teach you a lesson, you wouldn't have learned your lesson. You can't afford to offend James; you can't easily beat up Jackson's female companion. One is in charge of Arcadia, and the other is in the Imperial Capital. You've offended both of them in one go!"

Ray was so angry that his face turned blue, and his whole body trembled. If it weren't for Harry's obstruction, he would have taught Lena another lesson.
Lena did not expect that her father, who had always doted on her, would slap her for an outsider. She was so angry that she covered her face and ran out.

Harry chased after her anxiously, seeing that his younger sister had left in a fit of anger.

Everyone knew that the blind date banquet of the Weil family was a mess.

Amelia was led out of the manor by Jackson.

Before Zoey's car arrived, Jackson was already holding her hand and waiting at the door.

Amelia looked down at his hand, pretending nothing had happened and broke free from his grip.

Disappointment flashed through Jackson's eyes the moment she pulled her soft hand out of his.

Thinking of how he had just helped her, Amelia thanked him. "Mr. Collins, thank you for speaking up for me earlier."

Jackson's disappointment deepened when he heard her distant and polite voice.

He looked at her swollen side face and said guiltily, "I'm sorry. You wouldn't have been hurt if it weren't for me."

Amelia said indifferently, "It doesn't matter."

It was just a slap. It was nothing compared to the two kicks Jackson had given her.

Jackson saw that she was unwilling to talk to him, and a trace of loneliness appeared on his face again.

Just as he was about to say something else to her, Zoey drove over.

He had no choice but to shut up and open the back door for Amelia like a gentleman.

Amelia was still feeling a little dizzy. Before getting in the car, her body swayed, and Jackson quickly held her by the waist.

"Ms. Garcia, are you all right?"

She shook her head and tried to break free from his grip, but he held her waist with one hand and helped her into the car.

Watching the Rolls Royce disappear into the distance, the man in the CCR put out the cigarette.

Under dim light, the cold moonlight shone through the window on the man's coOL and delicate facial features.

His indifferent eyes were like the emissaries of hell.

There was no emotion in them, and they looked gloomy and dim.

Sitting in the back seat, Paul couldn't see his expression clearly. He only felt that James had stopped here to wait for Amelia.

A worried expression unconsciously appeared on Paul's face.

"James, why aren't you leaving yet?"

After a few seconds of silence, the man's indifferent voice came from the car. "Wait for Andrew."

Andrew said he had left something in Weil's house and returned to get it.

However, Paul felt that this excuse was terrible.

Andrew could take the bodyguard's car back. James didn't need to wait for an assistant here, right?

Although this assistant had grown up with him. So many people did not need to wait in a corner so far away from the Weil's house.

The more Paul thought about it, the more uneasy he felt. "James, don't tell me you've fallen for Ms. Garcia?"

Paul thought James would deny it, but he suddenly replied, "What if I'm really in love with her?"

Paul was shocked. He quickly sat up straight and persuaded nervously, "James, don't take things too hard. Her life will be in danger if you fall in love with her. Although she is not a good person, I don't want to see blood again."

When James heard this, the emotions in his eyes disappeared.

James looked back at Paul with a smile.

"Paul, you're still as easy to fool as when you were young."

Paul could tell from his face that he was joking. Only then did his tense nerves relax.

However, with a severe look, Paul reminded James, "Don't say such things in front of others in the future."

It was OK to talk about it before him, but if someone with ulterior motives heard it, the Evans family would never be at peace.

James looked away, his eyes filled with despair.
