"Wind style: Rasengan!"

You turned your head towards the two new voices just as a giant tornado crashed with Kakuzu's flame and put it out. You covered your face as a giant cloud of vapor surrounded Kakuzu and spread to where you stood. As the vapor cleared away, you lowered your hands slightly and looked at the four new people. Your eyes widened again as you saw two familiar people and two others you hadn't seen before. Sakura, Naruto! You sighed in relief but it soon went away as you knew that Kakuzu might in bigger trouble. Naruto was a jinchuuriki after all.
"Sorry we're late," you heard Naruto say. "But better late than never."
The vapor cleared away fully and you were able to make out the other two people. One was a man with brown hair, some face protector(that thing Yamato wears around his head), a green vest and navy blue pants with navy blue boots. The other was a young man with black hair, black shirt with a long right sleeve and short left sleeve that went down to the bottom of his ribcage and exposed his torso. He also had black pants, black boots and black gloves.
Naruto glared at Kakuzu. He made a hand sign which you recognized. "Multi shadow clone jutsu!"
Three more Naruto's appeared. The original Naruto and two of the clones got together. The other clone stood in front of them. Naruto held his hand out while the two clones took care of the chakra change in nature and change in form. What is this? You asked yourself as a glowing, blue sphere of chakra started to form in Naruto's hand. The chakra... it's massive. A small noise reached your ears. The sound... it's coming from that jutsu. The sound of wind. Is it spinning that fast? Your eyes widened as Naruto held a shuriken shaped jutsu in his hand over his head. Your bottom lip started to tremble as you slowly looked at Kakuzu. If that jutsu hits him... he'll be done for. I can't let it hit him. No matter what!
"Wind style: Rasen Shuriken!" Naruto shouted. One of the clones looked at you and you locked eyes with it momentarily before it frowned at you. What is going on? You wondered. Shikamaru called me a backstabber, Naruto is frowning at me with hate in his eyes... something must have gone wrong with Asuma. The clone turned away from you as the four Naruto's ran at Kakuzu.
"Well I'm going in with him!" Choji stated and ran forward only to be stopped by the other man that had come with Naruto.
"No! Stay away from it! You'll only get caught up too!" he yelled over the sound of the rushing wind. The clones surrounded Kakuzu. He stabbed one through the chest and destroyed the other two with the power of the masks.
"Kakuzu get out of the way!" you yelled as Naruto ran at him from behind. You started to run forward but stopped once you noticed Naruto's jutsu had died down as soon as it hit Kakuzu.
"It failed," the man said. It... failed?
Naruto stood there, not moving in front of Kakuzu for a while. You knew that if he didn't move fast, he might get caught in an attack from the masks or get punched away by Kakuzu. He jumped away but Kakuzu threw his threads at him and brought him back to the ground. Kakashi ran forward.
"Yamato!" he called.
"Right!" the other man answered and made a hand sign. His arm turned into wood and he aimed it at Kakuzu. Kakuzu moved out of the way before it hit him. However, it got the threads. Kakashi cut the threads away from Naruto with his lightning and they jumped away. More wood went towards Kakuzu but he was doing well in avoiding it. You stared at the wood with wide eyes. Never before had you seen wood style. You'd heard Kakuzu talking about it, but he said only the first Hokage had that jutsu.
"Oh shut up!" Naruto yelled. You brought your attention back to him to see him arguing with Choji and Ino. "it's awesome when it hits okay?!"
"The name is misleading," the other man, Yamato, said. "Rasen Shuriken is meant to be a frontal attack. Thus the need for a companying diversion. In this case, the shadow clones."
"The problem is this jutsu burns too quickly," Kakashi pointed out. Naruto sat there, glaring back and forth at the criticizing adults. He looked like a grounded child with the face he had. He got up and decided to try it again. Ino and Choji tried to tell him that it would be useless.
"Right now, we're five against one," Kakashi said, taking a quick glance in your direction. Unless I interfere. You thought in realization.
"Kakashi sensei," Naruto began. "Do you remember what you told me during training?" Kakashi, the others and you all turned to face him. "That I'm the only shinobi who can surpass the fourth Hokage, and you meant what you said. Look, I know teamwork's important, but right now I need to cross this bridge. And cross it alone, no matter how dangerous a bridge it turns out to be. If I can't work my way to other side, I'll just be a kid forever." He paused a second and closed his eyes momentarily. "So please, please... don't take away my chance to prove what I can do."
Kakashi stood and you looked at the ground beneath your feet. You looked back up. Wait! Your eyes scanned the area. Where is Sakura? And that other boy?
~Farubaru~
There was a loud explosion. A huge hole was created in the ground and the pieces of Hidan's body fell in. Farubaru watched the boy walk over to the hole and look down at Hidan. She jumped off the branch and calmly walked over to the hole as well. The boy saw her and stopped in his tracks. She reached the edge of the hole and sat, staring right into the boy's eyes. He narrowed his eyes as he stared back at her.
"Hey! Farubaru! Get me the heck outta here will ya?!" Hidan yelled. She turned her head down to look at him. "Come on! Once I get out of here I'm gonna-"
"You're gonna what?" Farubaru interrupted.
"So you were able to communicate with me all this time!?" Hidan shouted. "You damned fox! Wait till I get my hands on you, you're gonna be sorry!"
"Preserving chakra for when it's most needed is wise," Farubaru told him and looked back at the boy. "Wouldn't you agree?"
"You can... talk?" he stammered. He reached for his pouch but Farubaru jumped over to his side and growled, her teeth bared. "What are you-?"
"Why do you wish to kill Hidan?"
"He killed Asuma sensei. And if you're with him, then you're part of the AKatsuki?" Shikamaru questioned.
"There's a girl who would be torn of you took this fool away from her."
"What? Fool? Who are you calling a fool?!" Hidan yelled.
"I don't care if she's torn," the boy said as he pulled a kunai with a paper bomb out of his pouch. "She's the one responsible for what I'm doing right now."
"How is she the one responsible?" Farubaru asked as she started to circle the boy. She was no longer as small as she had been once before. In fact, it was strange for her to be this big and reach the boy's waist. A snow fox didn't grow that much, not that she knew of anyway. She was more like a wolf stalking its prey right now.
"She betrayed my trust," the boy answered as he took a few cautious steps away from the fox.
"What did she do?"
"She brought Asuma back, only to kill him again."
"You're a fool you know that?"
"What?"
"If she had truly killed that Asuma you speak of, she would be traumatized. She has never killed anyone before."
"You lie!" the boy cried out and pulled something out of his vest. "The nurses found this in Asuma's hospital room, tell me it doesn't belong to her!" he challenged.
Farubaru's nose twitched as she sniffed the air. She caught Aiko's scent, but also another, vile scent. She growled again.
"There's no mistake it's hers," she told the boy as he put it back in his vest pocket. "But there's another scent there. A vile, evil scent." she looked back at the hole for a bit. "If you let me take this pathetic fool, I'll help you."
"Why are you willing to help me?" he asked and eyed her skeptically. "Just so you can do what that Akatsuki girl did? And backstab me whenever you get the chance? I don't think so."
He prepared to throw the kunai at the hole but Farubaru pounced on him. She had transformed, using the chakra Aiko had given her a long time ago, to look like Aiko.
"This is the girl you mean, correct?" Farubaru asked as she grabbed the kunai from the boy's hand and held it to his neck. "She wouldn't ever kill someone. I know she wouldn't. She will always try to find a way out of something without killing anyone."
"How can you be so certain? And how do I know I can trust you?"
"I'm not certain, I can only go from what I know about her. And you don't, you will only trust me if instincts tell you to," Farubaru told him and got off of him. She held a hand out to him and helped him up. "But revenge isn't ever the right way to go." She told the boy and jumped down into the hole.
"You sure took your sweet time getting here princess," Hidan said snidely.
"Shut up, I'm not her," Farubaru told him as she removed the cloak and placed Hidan's body parts in it.
"Ouch! Hey! Watch my head, my head!" Hidan yelled.
"Stop complaining. The faster I put you in the cloak, the sooner we leave," she told him and tied the ends of the cloak together. Afterwards, she threw the 'sack' over her shoulder and jumped out of the hole. The boy was nowhere in sight. He must have decided to trust me after all. She thought as she jumped onto the trees and headed in the direction where Aiko's scent was strongest. The boy had also gone this way, and others had probably met up with him. She continued running through the trees when she came across the boy once more. I have a little chakra to spare. Farubaru thought as she made a hand sign and summoned a bird. It wasn't like the ones Aiko summoned, but it would have to do.
She stopped beside them. "Get on," she told them. She recognized the pink headed girl as Sakura, from the last time Aiko had interacted with Leaf shinobi.
"Aiko!" Sakura gasped.
"No, just get on."
She nodded. "Thanks."
Sakura helped Shikamaru onto the bird while the other boy and the mutt also got on. They followed Aiko's scent. She better be okay you old banker. Farubaru thought of a million ways to get back at Kakuzu if Aiko got hurt.
~Aiko~
Naruto stepped forward. Kakuzu's threads got bigger and you knew he was making sure to stay away from that jutsu by changing into long range attack and defense. The Leaf shinobi stared at him as he changed. Naruto made some more shadow clones and began to make the same jutsu again. He ran at Kakuzu with the jutsu in hand, his clones ahead of him. Kakuzu also charged at them. He jumped over the clone's heads and headed straight for the real Naruto. Your eyes widened as his threads crashed into Naruto.
"Naruto!" you screamed.
The cloud of dust cleared and you saw Naruto lying there with Kakuzu's threads going through his chest and stomach. You felt like punching Kakuzu, but you couldn't move. You were frozen. Two things ran through your mind right now; 1.) Kakuzu had just killed a friend of yours, one you had established peace with and 2.) Pein was gonna be so mad if Naruto really was dead. Suddenly, Naruto disappeared in a puff of smoke. A shadow clone?! You turned your head up at the sound of rushing wind and saw Naruto falling through the air with the shuriken like jutsu and headed straight for Kakuzu. Your body instantly unfroze and you pushed off your feet as much as you could manage. You jumped in front of Naruto's attack and stood on Kakuzu's threads with your hands stretched out.
"Naruto stop!"
