It was the next day and me and Damon were training in my training room. Which was located in my basement. I wanted to test my increasing strength, and what better way to do that than to fight a vampire?

He was in a normal t-shirt and jeans while I was wearing full-on workout clothes.

We were swinging our fists left and right. Both trying to get a hit in. We dodged most of each other's hits, both only getting in a few lucky punches. Damon's fist came towards my face, I grabbed it before it made contact. I twisted it breaking his wrist, then with one kick to the stomach from me. Damon was sent flying to the wall.

We were both breathless. I stood there smiling down at the vampire, enjoying the new strength I possessed.

"When the hell did you get so strong?" Damon groaned standing slowly up. he stretched a little, only for a loud crack sound to be heard. "Oh, God."

"I have no idea." I was smiling like a fool. "There were a few times where I noticed I was strong, but as time went by, I felt stronger. I don't know why, but I love it. My strength is close to becoming equal to your own."

"Do you know when it started happening? When did you first really notice the strength?" Damon asked me confused, as he was sipping from a blood bag. I took a seat on the floor, drinking some water. I thought of when I first truly noticed my increase in strength.

"It was after we came back from Georgia. I was checking my books for some info I needed, but when I found everything crossed out I got angry and punched my wall. But I didn't just punch my wall, my fist went through the wall." I explained to him. It was when I tried finding more information on what Bree told me in the bar. "Thanks to the magic running through the walls, the hole fixed itself."

"I think we should test it out some more. See if it grows, and if we can, how fast it's growing." Damon suggested. I simply nodded agreeing with him. "But for now, let's keep it to ourselves. We need to know more before we tell someone."

"I won't tell anyone except for Caroline, but that's simply because I don't want to."

"Why Caroline?" Damon asked me confused. "And why not Bonnie too if you're gonna tell her?"

"Caroline and you are my best friends Damon. I can trust you both 100%. But I can't with the others. Bonnie would tell Elena breaking my trust. Elena would probably find a way to use it to her advantage in the future. And Stefan would let his emotions dictate his actions. That's why I don't tell them things. Only you and Caroline."

After our workout, me and Damon took a shower and ate breakfast. We were out of bourbon so Damon and I decided to go to the boarding out to get some. When we got there we were met by Anna and her mother Pearl.

"Hello, Damon, Luna." Pearl, Anna's mother greeted us.

"Ever hear of knocking?" Damon sarcastically replied.

"An invitation wasn't necessary. I'm surprised that no living person resides here. Is it just you and your brother?" Questioned Pearl.

"Yeah, how do you keep out unwelcome vampires?" Anna asked him.

"Well, to be honest, I don't stay here often anymore. Usually, just stay at Luna's. But, I would kill them." Damon explained. Damon sped up to Pearl with his vampire speed, grabbing her neck.

Pearl didn't even flinch. With a neutral expression, Pearl grabbed his arm twisting it, forcing him to realize her.

"Damn," Damon spoke, with a strained voice. Only to be thrown to the ground by Pearl.

"Have a seat, Damon, Luna. I was hoping we could have a word." Damon and I both took a seat on one of the couches.

"Sure." He replied.

We all took a seat. Me and Damon shared one couch, and Anna and Pearl shared the one in front of us.

"We've taken up residence at a farmhouse outside of town. It'll suffice for now." Pearl began speaking.

"How many of you are there?" Damon asked her. "Last time I checked, there are only three of you."

"Yes. We are still acclimating." Pearl explained. "I understand from Anna, that the founding families still have a secret council?"

"And you're a part of it." Anna continued.

"That's ridiculous." Damon scoffed.

"I've been in Mystic Falls since the comet Damon. I'm up to speed."

"And so am I. Now that you've infiltrated the council, I will need to know everything they know. Starting with a list of the members and their families." Pearl informed him.

"And everyone you've supplied with vervain," Anna added.

"Yes, that will have to stop immediately."

"What exactly are you trying to achieve?" Damon asked them. I'm just sitting here, waiting for my time to do something.

"Mystic Falls is our home, Damon, Luna. They took that from us. Our land, our home. It's time we rebuild." Pearl further explained.

"What, are you crazy? That was 1864. Wake up woman, the world has moved on."

"As a reward for your help, I'm willing to give you what you want most." Pearl tried convincing him.

"I want nothing."

"Katherine," Pearl spoke as if the name alone would make Damon crumble and help. Of course that didn't work.

"You wouldn't even know where she was. You've been underground for the past century and a half."

"Katherine and I were best friends long before we came to Mystic Falls Damon. I know how she thinks, I know her patterns, I know where to find her." Pearl tried to further more to convince Damon.

"I no longer have any desire to see Katherine ever again. Unless it's dead." Pearl was shocked at the revelations. She believed Damon was still in love with her. That's why she offered him her. She was more than confused about why Damon wanted her dead now. "There is no way I'm gonna play the role of your little minion." Damon tried standing up, only to be pushed back down by her.

"I'm not asking for your help, Damon. Finding Katherine was just a mere gesture of kindness. I don't know what has changed, and why you want here dead now. But the rest is non-negotiable." Pearl sped in front of Damon and was about to plunge her fingers into his eyes.

But because I knew what would happen, I was quicker. I send a quick blast at her, sending her across the room. Anna quickly went to her mother's side, helping her up.

"I allowed you to come in here and speak without interruptions," I spoke for the first time. "Then you threaten someone I hold dear, and try and hurt him." Anna and Pearl were looking at me with fear. Pearl was still recovering from the blast. "Do not forget. You are alive because of me. You get to keep living because of me! This is my town, my rules. Understood!?" As I raised my voice, a violet wave of magic came from me, and the whole boarding house began to shake, as if an earthquake was occurring.

"Yes, we're sorry." Anna quickly spoke.

The house stopped shaking and Pearl and Anna fled. After that Damon and I left. He went to the bar, and I went home. I wanna try and see Kol again, maybe even talk to him.

...

I was in my study, one of my many spell books I front of me. The spell on the page was supposed to allow me to communicate with spirits. It needs something of the one I wish to contact. I'm planning to use the soul mark, to draw on that connection.

I was sitting in the middle of my study, candles placed in a circle around me. I waved my hand, the candles lit a flame. I closed my eyes speaking the incantation.

"Spiritus alterius partis, ego te evoco. Per hoc signum te quaero. Kol Mikaelson." As I spoke, the flames became stronger. They reached as tall as me in full height. I placed my right hand on the soul mark. "Audite me. Loquere and me. In neutral partem congrediemur."

I felt the world around me change. As I opened my eyes I could see people walking around. I was back in New Orleans. I looked around, not being able to see Kol. I called forth my magic, searching for him. I could feel him. He was nearby.

As I searched, I came across the cemetery, The French Courter witches reside in. I could see him, Kol. He was observing the witches. Watching them doing magic. At this point, the witches still can perform magic. Only later on will lose that right when they try and kill four teenage girls, to gain more power. Unfortunately, three of the girls get killed, before the last one, Davina, is saved.

At first, I simply observed him. He seemed lost. He misses his magic, that much is clear. When he gets back, I need to find a way to give him his magic back. I'll make him a core witch like I made Bonnie.

As I gazed upon him, his gaze turned to me as if sensing mine. We were staring at one another. He looked at me stunned. I motioned with my head for him to come. He did so, but hesitantly.

"It's you." He spoke in a daze. On several occasions, I send an image of me through the soul mark. It was before I knew it was Kol for sure. That night, I send a memory of having fun with Caroline. Just us two laughing and smiling without a care in the world. That memory always made me happy. And I wanted to share that happiness with him.

"Hello, Kol. It is lovely to finally meet you. I wish it was under better circumstances, but this was the best I could do for now." I softly explained to him.

"Who are you?" He asked, seeming to break out of his daze.

"I'm Luna." I introduced myself. A big smile decorated his face.

"Hello, beautiful. I'm Kol. But you already know that." He had a goofy and curious smile on his face, but he also looked to be a little nervous. He looked kinda adorable. Like a shy teenager speaking to their crush for the first time. "What are you?"

"I'm a witch. But a different kind." I wanted to speak to him more, but I could feel the spell coming to an end. The spell only lasts for so long. "I wish we could speak more, but it seems my time is almost up." I raised my hand, showing him my disappearing hand.

"Wait!" I could see the small panic in his eyes. "Will we meet again?" He asked me softly.

"I promise we will, little mischief," I promised him, calling him by a nickname I decided long ago I would call him. He beamed at it. He was about to speak, but I was disappearing. As I faded away, I could barely hear him speak.

"Goodbye, my beautiful soulmate."

I gasped awake. The lit candles long since extinguished. He knew? How? I need answers, and the only one who can give them to me is Persephone. But she has been ignoring me.

I waved my now violet-incased hands, stretching the violet energy everywhere. As the magic stopped and disappeared. The room was clean, and the candles were gone. I used my magic to clean everything up from the spell I had done. Why do it yourself when magic can do it for you?

I remained on the ground in a sitting position. I called forth my magic ones again, making two orbs of violet energy form above my palms.

"Persephone, I call upon you. I need your guidance. Help me as you have helped me before." I closed my eyes, willing my magic to help. For it to call out to hers. I could feel her, I knew she heard me. "I know you can hear me. Please do not abandon me." I spoke in a low voice.

Since the start, she has been here for me. Even though she didn't show herself, she still aided me. She gave me another chance at life. Gave me power beyond my wildest dreams. She gave me spell books and helped with my magic. She was the one to first tell me of soulmates when she made that book appear.

I was about to give up, to stop reaching out to her. But then I felt it. I opened my eyes. And in front of me was her, Persephone.

"Hello, Luna."

...

A/N: Hello! I'm trying my best to post 1 chapter a day, and so far I think I'm gonna be able to.

What did you think about Luna and Kol's interaction? I don't know how to write Kol so I'm sorry if it was bad. I kinda wanted to show a little of his vulnerable side.

Elijah, Kol, and Stefan all have nicknames. I'm not really a nickname type of person, that's why there aren't many.

The spell I used was something I just wrote on Google Translate.

Please vote and comment. I love hearing from people reading my story. If you have any thoughts or ideas, please let me know. I want this to be a book you enjoy.
