To think that seven months ago Sarang was struggling and going through a phase where writing even one song seemed impossible to her and now she already had written eleven songs in a span of two weeks was insane.

CHOI SARANG GIFTS FANS A NEW SONG

The top soloist of Korea, Choi Sarang has released a new song. The song called "Hang In There, It'll Be Okay" is a pop ballad with beautiful lyrics encouraging people to hold on and things will get better with time.
This is a fan song, although the non fans seem to love it just as much.
The song has received great reactions as people are pouring their love and support saying that the song was like a warm hug from a loved one to them. The pandemic has been hard on everyone and this song was undoubtedly one of the songs we needed to endure this hard time.
Sarang revealed that she wrote this song for her fans and for everyone who had a hard time during the pandemic. She said, "I hope this song can be a source of comfort for you."
It seems as if the people did find comfort in the song as it hit #2 on Billboard Hot100. The highest debut at the chart for a Korean act. Many fans believe the song would've debuted at #1 but the charts seemed to have been manipulated purposefully.
The song has amassed total of 70M streams across all platforms in a week setting a new record for soloists.
It is speculated that a full album is in works and Sarang will be making her long awaited comeback pretty soon. Although no official confirmation has been heard, fans are hopeful and looking forward to the next album that will undoubtedly be a Big Hit (pun intended).

Sarang set her phone aside and stared ahead for a second. She was glad people were able to find comfort in her music. After the whole emotional breakdown, reading reviews like that was truly what she needed.
She frowned a bit as she went through several more articles. She then proceeded to read the comments on her YouTube channel and went online to see how people were reacting to the song.
Once she was done monitoring Sarang frowned a bit. It seems as if everyone loved the song. She didn't see one single negative comment about the song and was quite surprised at that.
However what she did notice was how a lot of people were asking her to make a happier song. So many of the comments were talking about their difficulties they went through during the pandemic and were still suffering.
One thing was for sure; people needed a happy and cheerful song right now. They might not realize it yet, but even she herself had felt so down these past few months. She could only imagine what the others must've gone through.
Sarang looked outside and saw the beautiful night sky.
"It'd be so amazing if I could see the world from a star's point of view."
She started humming to herself, "I'm in the stars tonight hmm mhmm, so watch me bring the fire set the night alight."
Sarang bolted out of her seat by the window as she was hit with a zap of inspiration for a new song. She rushed to her studio room and sat down on the keyboard. She simultaneously started composing the song and making the melody.
And that is how after two days of revision and editing, Sarang had in her hands a brand new cheerful song that she titled as "Dynamite".
"This is perfect." Sarang thought to herself.
This was her first ever song that she had written completely in English. It was the first one that didn't have any deep meaning to it and was purely for fun. She thought of the numerous comments she had seen of her international fans saying how it was a pity they couldn't understand the songs fully without translations and Sarang thought this song will be perfect for everyone.
As soon as Sarang heard the song she knew this wasn't going to be sung by her. She knew just the right artists who'll bring life to this song.
And so without wasting a minute, Sarang called her company to let them know about the song.
Two days later, Sarang was sitting in the conference room of Bighit with Pdogg, Bang Pd and some other executives, waiting for BTS to arrive.
Yes, she had chosen BTS to sing the song. Well it wasn't approved yet, but she'll try her best to get it approved. Her hunches have never been wrong, and something inside her told her that this song will become the biggest hit of the year.
And BTS were the perfect candidates for the song.
She turned in her seat when she heard them coming inside. Sarang instantly brightened up at the sight of her friends. She gave them all a big smile and a wave.
"CHOI SARANG YOU'RE BACK?" Jin yelled from the other side as he rushed in for a hug.
Soon the others followed and gave her a hug.
"I missed you." Sarang and Jungkook whispered at the same time as they hugged. The hug lasted only for a second but it was enough for them to know how much the other had missed them.
They were best friends for a reason.
"I loved your new song, still with you. It's so beautiful.' Sarang gushed as Jungkook blushed under her gaze.
"Thanks, I thought of my love when I wrote that song." Jungkook confessed staring directly in Sarang's eyes.
"Armys loved it. As expected our JayKay is talented." Jhope, ever the oblivious one stated.
Jungkook sighed as they were all asked to settle down.
"Yah, when did you come back to company?" Namjoon questioned as he took his seat after greeting the others in the room.
"I thought you were going to stay inside your house forever. You even recorded the song from your home studio." Yoongi shook his head at her.
"Which by the way, is an amazing song. I love it very much." Jhope smiled as he showed her his streaming history, saying that he has been listening to the song nonstop.
"Why are we here Hyung? Are you going to give us more shares?" Jimin joked as he looked at Bang pd who shook his head slightly before looking at Sarang's direction.
"What, what, what? Don't tell me Sarang is leaving the company?" The others gasped at what Taehyung had said as they all in unison turned to look at Sarang.
"Guys calm down oh my god." Sarang sighed exasperatedly.
"Well then maybe you can tell us what's happening instead of making us guess stuff." Jin said sassily making Sarang scoff.
"As if y'all are letting me speak."
"Fair point.'
"Now since everyone's calmed down, I called you here cause of Sarang -let me finish speaking- as I was saying, I called you guys here cause Sarang has something for you guys."
Sarang turned red as everyone looked at her, waiting for her to explain further. She cleared her throat before taking out her phone and playing the recording.
Sarang looked around trying to gauge everyone's reaction as they listened to the demo version of Dynamite she had recorded. She saw the way the executives were frowning and the enthusiastic way the members were bopping their heads.
"This song is so good." Namjoon said as he smiled at her.
"I didn't understand what the lyrics meant but the vibes are definitely very fun." Jin nodded as he too smiled at her.
"Wait- you want us to sing this song?" Jungkook looked at her with a shocked expression.
She nodded before turning her head to a contemplative looking Bang pd.
"What do you think pd-nim?" She asked hopefully.
"Well, it's a good song. I can definitely see it doing good with the audience-"
"This is such a childish song though. And a fun and cheery song at that. Do you think people will want to listen to such a song during these difficult times?" One of the executives cut in with a snarky remark before Bang PD could finish what he was saying.
Sarang bristled slightly at his tone but maintained her composure before answering. This was how executives were. Being mean and critical about everything seemed to be a part of their job description.
"The times have been though yes. Which is precisely why everyone needs an upbeat song like this right now. I know I do, and I've been monitoring online and can safely say that there a lot of people out there in need of a song like this."
"I, for one am definitely with Sarang on this one. The song is really good." Pdogg agreed.
"But the last comeback of BTS was ON, this song is so drastically different from them. And it's purely in English. What if people don't like this?" The same executive questioned.
"BTS have done various genres and concepts since forever. Boy with Luv was a pretty new concept too but it did really well didn't it? And yes it's in English, but because of that a larger amount of people will be able to enjoy the song. Even non fans."
"What if BTS don't sing this song?" One of the other executive questioned.
"We want to." Namjoon declared as he told them about how it was good idea.
"What if they don't?" The executive pressed.
"Well then I will record and release it. Or I'll find a way for BTS to record the song. There's no way I'm shelving this song." Sarang firmly responded.
And that is how after two hours of discussion, it was agreed that BTS will record and release Dynamite in August.
Once Sarang listened to the final recording she sighed in relief. She was right. BTS were the best choice for this song. She knew since that moment that this was a BTS song in every sense.
Sarang busied herself with the preparation of her upcoming album as she started recording and making new songs. She had a little more than two months to do everything.
