As Sarang still reeling from her surprise of seeing Jungkook looked back at the small line behind him she was shocked once more.
All seven members of BTS, Yeonjun, Youngmi, her parents and even her grandparents were there, all smiling at her widely. All of them were carrying gifts for her ranging from chocolates to plushies.
As a perplexed but happy Sarang finally looked at her newly appointed manager, the manager just gave her a big smile and a nod and said "They all planned it to surprise you."
Suddenly Jungkook moved to the back of line, taking his unsigned album with him. Jin who was now standing at the front since Jungkook went back, looked at Sarang and then at Jungkook in a knowing way and shook his head. Though Sarang didn't know what he knew.
As the members except Jungkook all got their albums signed, yoongi told her how proud he was of her. To hear that from the man who inspired her to become a musician was such a special feeling.
Jin gave her a box of handmade chocolates.
Yoongi gifted her a beautiful scarf that he much to her surprise told her, he knitted himself.
Hobi and Namjoon both pooled money to buy her a giant teddy bear, it was bigger than her and the size difference made everyone burst out laughing.
Jimin gave her letters and packages and told her to read them whenever she felt down.
Taehyung gave her a cute little tiger plushie.
Her parents brought her a bouquet and lots of homemade food. Her grandparents gave her money. Youngmi gave her a beautiful set of earrings that she made herself.
"Noona, you've inspired me to become a great idol too. I promise you that I will practice hard and become an idol you'd be proud of."
As Yeonjun said this, Sarang was immediately reminded of the tall boy who said the same thing not even an hour ago. She smiled at how they both had the same expression. What was funnier was that Yeonjun walked away the same way the tall guy did. Bouncing and skipping his steps with obvious enthusiasm.
Maybe one day both Yeonjun and that guy will meet as idols. Who knows what future has in its folds. She prayed that their wishes came true.
Finally as everyone's turn was over they all stood at a side talking, giving the best friends some time to talk alone.
As Jungkook walked up to her Sarang beamed at him.
"Why'd you go back?" She asked.
"Because I wanted to be the last person you'd sign for today. And I can talk to you for a little while longer if there's no one behind me." He said while smiling.
For some reason his words made her blush. She coughed a bit to cover it up and signed his album.
She wrote a message for him after signing it, 'For my best friend Jungkookie, hope this album gives you comfort <3'
Jungkook looked at what she had written and squeezed her hands gently before giving her his gift. It was a glass jar with lots of notes folded inside.
"There will be times when I won't be around you to comfort you. I hope on those days you can find strength and cheer up after reading these notes."
As Jungkook said that Sarang got up and walked up to him. As soon as she was close enough she immediately hugged him tight. She had to stand on her tiptoes since he was way too taller than her and almost lost her balance, but he immediately steadied her hugged her back.
"Thank you so much Jungkook-ah,you're the best friend ever." Sarang mumbled into his neck.
Jungkook shivered a bit when she did that and patted her back comfortingly. Their sweet moment was interrupted when someone coughed near them. Both of them suddenly embarrassed quickly separated to look in the direction of the cough.
It was Jin. Of course it was him.
They looked around to see if anyone else has seen them but luckily no one did.
Jin just raised an eyebrow at them and they both started blushing before running off in different directions.
That night all of them had a mini party to wrap up the successful promotions of Sarang's debut album.
They all gathered at Sarang's grandparents house which had lovely garden, perfect to set up some barbecue.
As Sarang looked around at her friends and family laughing, playing pranks, drinking and eating having fun Sarang prayed to the gods above that may they all always be this happy.
For Sarang it was the best day ever.
