Season 2 Episode 10 aka Episode 34: "The Light Of My Life"
The scene opened with Takemichi standing infront of Hina.
'She's right there...Hina's infront of me.' Takemichi look at Hina then at Mikey who look away from him (we gotta admit Mikey look cute at this one) "What's going on, Mikey-kun?" Takemichi asked.
'What'll I do?'
He then tried to reach Hina and find theright words to say "Oh...Well..." He said as Hina stares at him 'This is so awkward.'
A memory resurfaced
"Let's break up, Hina." He had said as the memory wuickly faded to reality ending itself.
'I dumped her without explanation.'
Another memory made its return.
"I hate your guts!" Hina had cried
The flashback ends as Takemichi gritted his teeth.
'What am I supposed to say to her now?'
It was Hina who broke the silence "Got into another fight again?" Takemichi gulped.
"Was it akways supposed to be the girl's move first?" asked Mucho curiously. Unveknownsto to him a certain person or two took offense.
Behind them Emma and Draken went besides Mikey.
Takemichi clenched his fists as tears gathered around his eyes.
•Opening has been skipped•
A flashback has began.
Hina asked his Dad if he was the one who told Takemichi to broke up with her or something like that.
"Sorry, Hinata. But try to understand how I feel. I'd like you to fall for a guy who's not a hoodlum. I want you to find happiness." Masato said looking at her daughter who calmly respond with another question.
"That's nonsense. She's happy with Takemichi, you don't want him with Takemichi, and yet you wanna make her happy. Choose one duh." Emma blurted out much to everyone's surprise.
The host chuckles.
"Why did you fall in love with Mom? It wasn't for appearance's sake, right? I like Takemichi's character. He's a hoodlum and he doesn't look dependable, but he's actually very warm and kind. He's the kind of guy who'd help me no matter what kind of pinch I'm in." Hinata shouted as tears gathered around her eyes.
"You can't describe Takemichi with just the word "hoodlum"!" Hinata cried as she then run off.
"Hinata!" Masato was shocked, his eyes were widened as he stares at the position where Hinata previously stand.
The scene changes.
'Dear God, hear my prayers.' She prayed as she clasp her hands and closed her eyes.
A voice distracted her "Who prays at a shrine on Christmas?" Hina look to see Emma behind her.
"Huh? Emma-chan?!"
"Emma?" Mikey and Draken asked...Mikey knew what she was doing there but Draken was a bit surprised.
"I thought it was you, Hina-chan."
They are now seating on bench.
"You came to pray too, Emma-chan?"
"Yeah. My oldest brother used to always come here to pray on Christmas. What a weirdo, huh? After I started going along with him, it turned into an annual tradition."
"Wow, what a coincidence. I came to this shrine every Christmas too."
"Another weirdo. Then we may have met before."
"Maybe so."
"So, what did you pray for?" Emma asked then there was a few silence as Hinata told her what happened.
"I see. Your Dad got involved, huh? That must have been brutal for Takemitchy."
"Yeah."
"But why'd he do it just because your Dad said to? I know!" She suddenly stand up "Leave this to me."
"Huh?"
The scene changes once again.
Draken was shown on his phone "Huh? Takemitchy? Mikey. Emma wants to know if we know where Takemitchy is." He asked Mikey instead
"No idea." Mikey replied
"We don't know." Draken said
"Huh? Look for him? What a pain. It's Christmas, you know? Well, you can get mad all you want. But I've got no idea where he might be." Draken said over the phone before Mikey interrupted him
"Ken-chin. Let's go back. That impulse I heard earlier...It was Mitsuya's. Takemitchy might be with him." Mikey said
"Anddddd bullseye everybody!" Sanzu shouts.
"I just hope they came in time" Senju prayed, Sanzu look at her. 'I wish you hadn't got involve though'
The scene switches back to Emma talking over the phone "Make sure you bring Takemitchy. Meet us at Hina-chan's condo complex." She said
Hearing thosewords Hjna flinched "What?"
"Okay. Let's go, Hina-chan."
"Takemichi-kun's coming here?"
"What? You love him, don't you? Tell him what you want to say."
"But...If I saw him now, I couldn't speak. I might even cry."
That ended the flashback.
"Hina!" Takemichi cries instead "I'm sorry." Hina's eyes widened in surprise "I'm a hoodlum, and I get what your Dad means. And I've gotten you into danger." Takemichi kneeled down.
"And the opposite happened..." Chifuyu sighed as Hina giggles and Takemichi just blushed.
"I couldn't stand it if anything I did ever got you hurt. I promised that I'd rescued you." Takemichumi cries
"Rescue?" Hina gasp
"Hina! I swear I'll protect you, even if you were to die."
That surprised Hina "What are you talking about, Takemichi-kun?"
"Even if you're hit by a truck...or you can't feel your legs anymore...I'll protect you every single time. Just please...Please...Forget that we ever broke up." That makes Hina sobbed
"Take me to the shrine...on New Year's."
"What? You mean..."
"We've made up." Hina smiles.
"Hina!"
"Oh, Please. Stop crying."
"I can't help it."
Emma cries as Yuzuha patted her back and Senju hugged Hina tight.
"I couldn't breath Sen-chan." Hina giggled.
The two talks as Draken just look at them, Mikey smiled and Emma cries tears of joy "I'm so happy for you, Hina-chan." Emma cried
"Why are you crying, Emma?" Mikey smiled at his sister
Draken just stares ahead.
"He's weak with women and a weak fighter. But he's dependable when the chips are down. Takemitchy really is like "him", isn't he?" Draken chuckles finally smirking
"Yeah." Mikey smiled before calling for Takemichi "Takemitchy. Let's take a ride together. Come on. Come on now."
Mikey dragged Takemichi away
"But Mikey-kun." He tries "I'm going to borrow Takemitchy for a bit." Mikey said
The scene showed Mr and Mrs Tachibana watching them.
Hina flinched "They watch?" She feels herself smiling. If they didn't do anything as they were talking that means they acceot the relationship the lovers have. She was just glad about it.
"Looks like you lose." Mrs. Tachibana said "Oh, my. It sure is cold. Let's go back inside."
The scene shows Hinata and Emma "I'm so happy for you, Hina-chan." Emma hugged her
"Not so long ago, she was just a little girl in elementary school. I guess this is how they grow up." Masato frowned
Ryouku (did I remember correct?) walked up to him smiling "If you interfere again, Hinata will shut you out." She said and the man turned away to hide his pout. "I can't have that. But it's late, so I want her back in here." He said
The scene changes
"There's a lot of scene changes huh?" Angry whispered to Peh and Inupi who both nodded their heads.
"And I bet there's gonna be more in next episodes." Peh said and Angry and Inupi nodded
"Hey, how many episode left before we finished season 2, again?" Inupi asked Peh think as Angry answered him "Maybe there's 3 more, not including this one."
"That's a bit short, huh?" Inupi commented and Angry and Peh nodded their head. The trio then sighed in unison before watching again.
Mikey was riding his bike with Takemichi on his back.
'When he's with the gang, he's scary and hard to approach. But when it's just the two of us, he's so chill that I feel like I could talk to him about anything.'
"Mikey-kun, where are your parents?"
"Huh? I don't have any. Me and Emma live with my grandpa."
"Really? Your grandpa raised you? That's a surprise."
"Me and Emma have different moms. We used to live apart. About ten years ago, Emma's mom left her with us and disappeared."
"Jeez, talk about brutal."
"My Big brother was like our Dad. He was ten years older, but we followed him everywhere. He taught us a lot. Having him around was so natural...I sometimes feel lost without him. I can't understand what it means. At times like that, my mind goes blank. I completely lose my way in the world. I lose sight of difference between what's right and what's wrong."
'Dark impulsive' Sanzu, Senju, Kazutora, and Takemichi thought in unison.
"Mikey-kun..."
'Mikey-kun understands that he'll lose his mind if he doesn't do something about it. He knows he bears a dark burden.'
The scene changes the two of them are now walking
"Even though my brother was a biker gang leader, he was a poor fighter."
"What? No way! That's a huge surprise."
Mikey only chuckles.
"He inspired lots of guys. The hoodlums of Tokyo followed him even though they fought better than him."
The scene changes to show a flashback
"Shinichiro." Kid Mikey look at him and Shinichiro look back "Yeah?"
"You suck at fighting." It was as if Shinichiro's bone cracks or his heart shatters "You're always chasing women." Shinichiro grabbed his head and grunt "Your farts reek." He put a hand in his butt before turning to Mikey and crouching.
"How come guys like you?"
"You don't get it, Manjiro." He just ruffled Mikey's hair and grinned at him.
Mikey look up at him confused.
Mikey narrated "When he led the tough dudes of Tokyo, he was always a brilliant sight."
The scene changes back to reality.
"I bet they all thought they couldn't lose as long as he had their backs."
"That's like you, Mikey-kun."
"I'm weak."
"What?"
"You're tough,Takemitchy. Winning fights isn't truly what's most important. It's not losing to yourself. You're weak, but you don't give in to anyone. You didn't give in to BLACK DRAGON. When it looks like I'm about to lose heart or when I'm about to lose my way, I want you to bawl me out, Takemitchy. Like my brother did."
Takemichi cries a bit before stomping into the cold ground. "Of course, I will." He said
The scene switches to Mitsuya and Draken.
Draken raised an eyebrow as Mitsuya sighed before drinking his soda.
"We announcing that thing at the first meeting of the new year?" Mitsuya asked
"What? What thing?" Baji asked.
Draken shrugged as Mikey didn't pay him attention.
"Yeah." Draken answered
"Could start a lot of discontent."
"Then we'll just have to fight. As the twin dragons of Toman."
"Twin dragons?"
"Brings back memories, huh?"
Draken smiles but then his head ache as he heard faint sobs it quickly dissapeared though and so is the headache.
Chifuyu look at the two and whispered to Takemichi "Hopefully he won't die a second time, or else Mitsuya-kun will lose it." Takemichi look at him and nodded.
Suddenly Draken drove faster
"Want to go there now?" He asked as Takashi gasped in surprised before smiling
"It must have been cleaned off long ago." Mitsuya said
The scene changes they were standing infront of a wall and Mitsuya regretted his words in shock.
"It's still here." Mitsuya said
The scene switches to a memory
A kid with purple hair was shown painting the wall.
"Wait why us? they always shows something like this if there will be something bad going to happen!" Draken said but he knows deep inside it doesn't happen all the time, but the possibility is still there.
'If that so...Mitsuya's behaviour is understandable.'
He suddenly thought of two kids lying on bed sleeping.
'Luna. Mana. I left them alone, but I hope they're okay.'
As he finished the painting someone from behind spoke "That's cool." Helooks to see a boy with blonde hair eating. "What is that? A dragon?" The kid asked." The kid asked again.
"Kid Mitsuya and Kid Ken-chin were cute" Mikey shouts as the two blushed.
"How long have you been there?"
"I've been here the whole time."
"Uh..." He stared at the guy
'He's a hoodlum. Just a kid, but he's wearing an earring.' Suddenly he's stomach rumbled
"Wow. Great for a first reaction." Draken said as Mitsuya sweatdropped "I'm sorry, k?" he said
"Want some barbecue beef?" The kid asked as his stomach roared louder saying how hungry he was. The kid with blonde hair laughed.
"Have a seat."
The scene forwarded a bit.
"My name's Ryuuguji Ken. What's yours?"
"Mitsuya Takashi."
"A kid like you on the atreets this late, your parents must be worried."
"You're a kid too. Who's he think he is?"
"Sorry. I'm not so used at someone worrying at me back then." Mitsuya scratches his neck and Draken sighed.
Suddenly Draken went to him "Hey, you ate all of it." He was surprised
"Sorry. I haven't eaten all day." He said
Draken then stand up "Okay."
"Huh?"
He put his palm into the wall
"All right, this drawing is mine."
"Yours?"
"In exchange for my barbecue beef. Come over to my place."
"Huh?"
"You're not busy, right?"
The scene changes to Draken's house.
"EEEHHHHHHHHHH?!" Mitsuya shouted
"This is your place?! It's a whorehouse!"
"Shut up, you brat! Ken,don't bring your friends here!" A girl shouted
"I always love your first impression!!!" Draken laughed along with Pah and Baji.
"Screw you." Ken said
"Ken, do some shopping for me." A girl said "No I'm busy." He replied "Ken, would you believe my last customer?" Another girl said "Tell me later." Ken said one more time "Hey, Ken. Let's play poker." Another one said
'What the heck is this place? This is his home, right?'
The scene changes
"There. Full house." Mitsuya said
"Amazing! This kid's a good player."
"No more wild jokers, okay? He keeps drawing them."
Mitsuya just laughed at the girls
"From now on, your nickname is "Joker"."
Draken laughed "Way to go, Mitsuya. You're ranking in the dough."
"You always earn spending money this way?" Mitsuya asked
"Yeah. They pay me 1,000 yen when they lose. I give them a free one-hour massage when I lose." Draken answered
"A massage?" Mitsuya asked
"Ken's massages are top-notch."
"He soothes our tired bodies."
"It's hell when I keep losing. The next day, my hands are numb." Draken says otherwise
"Wow..." That's when Mitsuya realised it was late at night. "What's wrong?" Drake asked "I was just thinking how nice this is. My Mom's never home. After school, all I ever do is take care of my sisters." Mitsuya frowns.
"Was it still that way?" Draken asked
"Nope. She's at home more than before but still more focus on work. We have family day every once in a month though." Mitsuya smiled.
That's when Draken chuckles and put an arm around him "This guy's a runaway." He said
"Really?"
"It'll be okay, Joker."
"I'd like to live here too." He suddenly get kicked in the face. "Ow! What was that for?" Mitsuya growled "Get out of here. You think this is fun, you dumb brat?" Mitsuya's eyes went wide.
"That does hurt." Mitsuya laughed and Draken just grinned.
The scene changes
"Shit. What's her problem?"
"Sorry, Mitsuya. But you see, they're not there 'cause they want to be." Draken said and Mitsuya tilted his head (SO CUTEEEE) in confusion.
"Okay. Lemme admit one thing. MITSUYA WAS DEFINITELY CUTE!" Yuzuha giggles Senju supporting her as Emma and Hina nods their head.
"Mitsuya stealing girls" Kazutora fake a pout and majority laughed.
"You like your mom's cooking?"
"Huh? I think I'm a better cook. She hardly ever cooks, so it really sucks. I think I hate it."
"She still sucks though."
"Really? Must be nice." Draken said grinning
"Were you listening it tastes awful." Mitsuya chuckles
"I don't have any parents. I wish I could say their cooking sucks." Draken said and Mitsuya's eyes widened in shock as he gasped "Go back home, Mitsuya. Truth is you're worried sick about your sisters, aren't you? It's written all over your face. You're a good kid. You're not cut out to be a hoodlum. Later, man." Draken said as he turned and walked away.
'It's like he saw right through me.'
The scene changes
"I've found you. Ryuguji Ken." Ken turned to see Mitsuya "Huh? Mitsuya? Hey!" He jolted in surprise
"One day, I will be your equal. I swear it." The camera shows him with same tattoo as Draken, his hair was (idk how to decribe this sorry) all in themiddle standing up. "I will be a hoodlum who cares for his family."
Draken stares in shock and Mitsuya's eyes widened "What?" he asked first then they stared at each other and shouts in unison "EH?!"
"Why'd you get this tattoo?"
"You'd grow your hair."
"Eh?"
"I'd give you the barbecue beef for this, man. This dragon is mine." He declared and Mitsuya gasped in surprise
The memory faded away and it went back to reality.
"Finally!"
"Miss that though."
"Doesn't mean we have to watch it with others!"
"Hai hai."
You can guess who said those.
Mitsuya stood still there and scratches his head.
Draken was shown walking away.
'Twin Dragons, huh? Ever since then...'
Draken looked at him "What's wrong?"
"Nothing."
The scene changes.
"Wow. It sure is crowded." Hinata said
"It sure is." agreed Takemichy suddenly someone called him "Takemitchy." they turned to see Mitsuya, Mana, Luna, Hakkai, and Yuzuha.
"Are you dressed for the children's fest?" Mitsuya asked "Yo." Hakkai greeted
"Wait, are you two Mitsuya's sisters?" Takemichi asked
"Yeah. This is Luna and Mana." Takashi introduced
"How old are you? What little angels." Takemichi greeted them
"Don't treat us like kids, dork face." Luna said "Dork face." Mana said they then run to Hinata "What a pretty lady." "Pretty lady." they greeted and hold her hand.
"Is that any way to raise children?"
"Sorry, man."
Hinata then turned to them "Yuzuha and Hakkai, are your wounds better now?" He asked them.
Hakkai looked away while Yuzuha smiled and said "Yeah, all better. Right, Hakkai? Hey." She nudged him.
"Eh?" Hakkai said as he turned to Hina who was busy with the kid.
Hakkai blushed as majority laughed at his action.
"Lady, can I hold your hand?" Luna asked "Yeah. Sure thing." Hina said "Hold my hand, too." Mana said "Okay, we'll walk together." Hina smiled at them.
"Hey, she's my Hina!" Takemichi shouts and Mitsuya smiles "How can you shout out loud something so emberrasing?" he chuckles "There goes my date. This was to make up for Christmas." Takemichi cries. "Sorry, Takemitchy." They walked away with Yuzuha staring at them which noticed by Hakkai.
Hakkai look at Mitsuya who said "You can go on a date anytime."
Hakkai then smiles "Now I get it. No wonder you like him, Yuzuha. He was
pretty badass that night." Hakkai said and Yuzuha nods.
"Oh you were talking about Mitsuya? I had liked him...but he rejects me...So I moved on with- nvm." She said as she notice everyone staring at her, they then look at Mitsuya who was blushing from what just said.
"Taiju...when he left a couple days ago, he said..."
The scene was then cut into a flashback.
"I wanted to raise Hakkai to be strong. It ticked me off when he was weak. Just who is Hanagaki Takemichi? Even though I couldn't change Hakkai, he did. I'm not needed in this house anymore. I won't mend my ways. But I will admit that violenceisn't everything. This is goodbye, Yuzuha. You must be relieved." Taiju said before leaving Yuzuha.
Thescreen fades to white as the flashback ends.
"Taiju...change?" Hakkai look in shock as Yuzuha nodded her head.
"Taiju said that?"
"Yeah. You know...He ended up changing both of you and Taiju. To me, Hanagaki Takemichi is..."
It was like something dawned on Hakkai.
"WHAT?!" he shouts
"WHAT?! SO YOU'RE NEW CRUSH IS-"
"IT WAS ONE-SIDED CRUSH! AND I DON'T HAVE A CRUSH ON HIM NOW! I-I found out I was...lesbian." He whispered the last part and Emma and Hina just knew who might be her new crush now.
"Wait. Hold on here, Yuzuha. Isn't it Taka-chan you've got a crush on?" He said and Yuzuha stop and turned to him.
"Huh? Mitsuya? He's like a brother. Besides, he's got short hair."
"Eh?! You're in love with Takemitchy?!"
"Shut up, you moron! Besides, he's got Hina." But then she tilted his head and smiles
"Nothing wrong with one-sided crush, right?"
"Huh?"
Mitsuya suddenly turned to the two "What's wrong?" He asked
Yuzuha flushed red and Hakkai was surprised once again "NOTHING AT ALL!" the Shiba siblings shouted in unison.
"Huh?" Mitsuya said
"You two are weird." Mitsuya said and the two throws him the empty bowl of popcorn which he just laughed at.
"Oh, Takemichi-kun." Hina said
"Yeah?" Takemichi asked
"They've got EMA."
"Cool. Let's get one."
Takemichi writes something in Ema.
"Oh so that's Ema?" Emma said and his brother just nod.
"Nice." He said.
"What did you write?" Hina asked him
"Hina. You know how they say it won't come true if you show anyone."
Suddenly Hakkai and Mitsuya walked in them "Hey, let us see." Hakkai said "Show us, Takemitchy." Mitsuya said making him hide his ema more.
"No way." He said as Yuzuha walked behind Hakkai
"Why not?"
"Show us man."
"No way. Never!"
Chifuyu and Peh walked just way infront Takemichi and hear the commotion
"Hey, it's Takemitchy." Chifuyu said "What're you guys up to?" Peh asked them.
"Ch-Chifuyu helped me! You too, Peh-yan." He said
Suddenly Smiley and Mucho walked pass them and heard the commotion as they both turned.
"Where are you?" Inupi whispered at his new found buddy
"Probably at home spending time with Mom and Dad." He shrugged
"I'll drag you and Inupi sometime" Peh grinned and the two nodded their head
"Sure. If you can."
"We'd like to see you try."
"You're on!"
"What's the commotion?" asked Mucho
"Sounds like fun." Smiley said
Hakkai suddenly grabbed Takemichi's Ema and held it up high "Cut it out, Hakkai! Give it back, that's my EMA!"
Draken, Mikey, and Emma who happened to be near them heard his shout and turn around as Emma pouts "Who's shouting "my Emma"?" Emma pouts.
"Oops." Emma chuckles
"Oh, it's Takemitchy." Draken said
"Hakkai!" Takemichi tries to reach it but Hakkai accidentally throws the Ema.
Yeah...Right into Mikey's foot.
Mikey grabbed the Ema. "Is this your EMA?" Mikey smiled as Takemichi run to him.
"Please, give it back."
"Wow, you sure are desperate." Mikey chuckles
Suddenly people's cheers were heard
"What's going on?"
"It's almost time."
"It's ten seconds until the new year."
"NEW YEAR!!!!" Everyone shouted excitedly.
Mikey turned to them "Let's jump together!"
"Huh? What?"
They all counted together
Chifuyu and Peh was shown smiling
Smiley and Mucho grinning.
"Three."
"Two."
Mitsuya and Hakkai grinned as well.
"One."
Then they all jumped "HAPPY NEW YEAR!"
It was shown what was written to Takemichi's Ema. The screen fades to black.
"You'll did it partner."
"Thank you partner."
As the two talks the host clear her throat. "Ahem. Everyone. Please attention first. I know you are eager to learn more. But after season 2 which will end after 3 more episodes we gonna have a break you like it or not. But you will stay here. It's months in this but...just 2-3 weeks in your timelines." They all nodded their head.

Hey sorry I went to one episode per week. I've been busy. And I will be busy since we have midterms next week.
After season 2 I will be focusing on my other stories just until the very first episode of season 3's release.
3 more weeks and school is done.
I will try to finish the story within this week.
