Weeks turned into months, and Jay continued to secretly take Suyeon out on dates from time to time.
They were officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
They loved being in each other's presence. He took her to many different restaurants, picnics and went to Namsan Tower.
The other members were always updated about their ongoing relationship.
They were the only ones who knew about it, but little did they know…there was also someone else keeping a close eye on the couple.

Hyorin's pov
I can't stand them anymore. Why should I make myself suffer by watching them being happy with each other?
What's so special about that b*tch Suyeon anyway? I was in the company way before she came. Why would Jay still choose her?
I shouldn't care about my job now. Jay get me fired at his own will, but I'm taking him for myself first.
I found Jay on his phone walking through the hallways. I immediately caught up to him.
"Heyy, haven't talked to you in a while"
I said.
He turned to me and gave me a disgusted look then diverted his attention back to his phone. He was texting someone.
"Who are you so busy with??"
I looked over his shoulder.
It was Suyeon's contact.
"Can we have some personal boundaries?"
He moved away from me.
"Why do you have Suyeon's contact? Do you like her?"
I asked, folding my arms.
"You still never understood to this day? Even if I say I do like her, will that keep you away from me?"
He put his phone into his pocket.
"You can't date her even though you like her, Jay. It's an unspoken rule in this company"
I walked closer to him.
" Wow..you're talking about rules to me? You can lose your job for harassing me. I'm just holding back because you stopped bothering Suyeon"
He scoffed.
"I don't care about my job anymore. As long as you choose me over her. I'll be more than happy"
I smiled seductively.
I saw his adam's apple bob up and down.
"Why not me? I can offer you more than she ever could"
I pinned him to a wall.
"Hmm? Leave her, and come to me"
I pressed my hand against his body.
I could feel his abs through his shirt. I crept my fingers up his chest and leaned closer to his face, when he shoved me back forcefully.
"What the hell, Jay?"
I held my shoulders.
"No, what the hell is wrong with you. That's it, I'm telling the manager about this and you're never coming back to this company"
He said firmly and left me there.
It's okay. I have other evidence that he doesn't know about.

Jay's pov
I could feel a ball of rage forming inside me. How could she just touch me like that?
I went straight to the manager's office and flung the door open without warning because I was so irritated.
"Couldn't you have knocked?"
The manager put a hand on his chest.
"My apologies, but I need to talk to you, right now"
I bowed and sat on a chair in front of him.
"It's about Hyorin.."
I said.
I explained everything she did that made me uncomfortable and things I found irritating about her. The manager seemed shocked.
"How long has this been going on for?"
He asked with a worried expression.
"Ever since she was hired. And I know this may be harsh, but can you consider firing her?"
I asked, trying to be polite.
"With immediate effect. I should have kept a better lookout for the members, I'm so sorry"
He apologised.
"Thank you, sir. I'll be off now"
I stood up and bowed to him, leaving his office.
Hope that gets her out of the way.
I opened Suyeon's contact to talk to her. I asked her earlier if I could sleep over at her house again.
She didn't reply yet, but left me on seen. I messaged her again and waited for a while. No reply.
She's probably editing.
I texted her again after it was nearing 5te time she usually gets off work. And still.
No reply.
I got worried and just went to her office. I barged in and saw her laying her head down on the table.
"Suyeon? Are you okay? Why didn't you reply to my messages?-"
I walked over to her, putting a hand on her back.
"LEAVE ME ALONE!"
She pushed my arm away.
Tears were running down her rosy cheeks. And her hair was in a mess.
"Suyeon..what happened? Did I do something wr-"
I tried to remove some hair from her face but she slapped my hand away.
"You know what you did. Don't play games with me, Jay"
I felt intimidated by her sternness.
"What? I'm not playing any games with you"
I watched her as her chest rose and fell.
"WHY ARE YOU ACTING DUMB?"
She took her bag and walked to the door.
I held onto her arm firmly, pulling her back to face me.
"Choi, if you don't tell me what I did wrong, we'll never sort this out"
I looked her dead in the eye.
"YOU KISSED HYORIN, DIDN'T YOU?!"
She chided.
I was appalled. She saw Hyorin flirting with me?
"You misunderstood everything. I never kissed her. I never would"
I said.
"Why would you lie? I saw with my own eyes, she leaned in for a kiss! Hhpp"
She hiccuped from crying and cupped her mouth.
"I pushed her away before she could. You probably ran away before seeing that, right?"
I replied.
"It's true that I ran away before you guys kissed, but how could I trust that you didn't? Hhpp"
She wiped her tears under her glasses, still hiccupping.
"You should know how much I despise her. I would never let her go that far. If I could, I never want to hear her voice near me again"
I gazed into her glossy eyes.
I took her hand and placed it on my chest, above where my heart is.
"Can you feel it? How my heart beats for you?"
I asked softly.

Suyeon's pov
I could feel his heart thumping.
He pulled my head to his chest, allowing me to hear his heartbeat. It was music to my ears.
I felt more tears flowing out as I buried my face in his chest, hugging him tight. There was a fuzzy feeling in my heart. I was so touched.
"Why? You don't hear it?..."
Jay asked.
I shook my head.
"I love you, Choi Suyeon. My heart belongs to you. It'll continue to beat for you, eternally. Even if I'm dead, my soul will always find its way back to you"
He stroked my head.
Does he really mean all this? I've never felt so loved, so appreciated. What did I do to be able to meet this man?
I pulled away for a bit to look at him. He's still blurry from my tears.
"Jay…I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have accused you. I should have listened to you first"
I chewed on my bottom lip.
"I know you more than anyone else. It's okay, honey"
He wiped my tears away.
"Honey? That's new"
I said, sniffling.
"I've always wanted to call you by that. Your eyes are like the colour of honey"
He smiled.
"Can you close your eyes?"
He asked and I did.
He kissed both my eyelids.
"The only pair of eyes I'd look for in every crowd, is your beautiful honey ones"
Jay said as I opened my eyes.
"I'll always look for yours too. The only pair full of the brightest stars in the galaxy"
I said, feeling touched.
He patted my head and adjusted the few strands of hair that was covering my face.
"Let's go back to your house, honey"
He chuckled, holding my hand.
"Okay. Hhpp"
I hicupped again.
"Hold your breath for 20 seconds. It'll help it go away"
Jay advised.
I inhaled a deep breath and puffed up my cheeks, holding my breath as he said.
"Boop"
He poked my cheek, making me release the air.
"Woah, it's gone now. How did you know?"
I asked, fascinated.
"I search up fun facts in my free time. Let's go, shall we?"
We walked out of the office.
He's the only person who can control me and my anger. I love him so much.
