IN THE HOUSE OF GUPTA FAMILY:-
After the long discussion, the time was almost 9 O'clock. The elders were having their snacks, the children were playing happily, Saubhaagyashree was helping her mother and sister-in-law Rouhi to serve the snacks to the guests.
The ambience of the house was more like a festival. Their happiness was mirroring in their pleasant and satisfactory smiles consisting the never ending conversation with each other. Feelings of joy, satisfaction, contentment and fulfilment had become best friend of the family members.
The would be bride was also not a varient to it. During the whole day, she was over the moon and was flashing her billon dollar smile throughout the event. But, in between all these, someone was preferring the solitude, as he knew that he had to leave for their house very soon and the most heartwrenching time would appear within few minutes. Haripriya noticed the mournful situation of the soon-to-be groom and went near him to know the reason of his downheartedness and despondency.
Haripriya (By holding Arjun's shoulder slightly):- Arjun!
Arjun (While turning back):- Bhabhi! Good evening!
Haripriya:- Very good evening to you! May I know the reason why are you standing here all alone? Go there and enjoy with others!
Arjun:- No bhabhi! It's okay! I don't wish to participate in the celebration, now!
Haripriya:- Is there any problem, Arjun?
Arjun:- No, no, I am completely alright! You need not to worry about me!
Haripriya:- You can't even tell a lie properly, just like Krish! Whether you tell me Or not, still I do understand this very well!
Arjun:- Bhabhi, within this short period of time, Saubhaagya has become an integral part of my life! I really want to be with her for more time, but look at the clock, it's almost 9:15 pm and papa..... He may call me at any time for our departure from here!
Haripriya:- And you don't any thing which is related to Sona, right? Neither you have her completely nor any of her personal things which may help you to recall the good times you have spent with her during this whole day! Am I right, Arjun?
Arjun didn't utter any words, he just preferred to look down in hopelessness. Haripriya smiled at his innocence and thought that Saubhaagyashree was extremely lucky that she would get Arjun as her husband.
Haripriya:- Arjun, look at me and tell one thing, if I help you in some way!
Arjun (With a ray of hope):- Bhabhi, will you help me?
Haripriya:- Definitely! I have a secret plan for it! You know what, Arjun; I have also become mischievous like Krish after meeting with him!
Meanwhile, the members of Sharma family stood up from their respective seats by folding their hands and congratulating the persons of Gupta family. The time has already arrived when they had to depart. Rajesh and Kailash hugged each other, the ladies also wished luck to each other for the upcoming precious moments. Along with them the other members of the family also started to control their emotions at that moment.
Rajesh:- So now, allow us to take our departure!
Kailash:- Our hearts really don't want to witness this, Rajesh!
Rajesh:- Don't worry, my friend! We are going to meet exactly after eight days for their engagement!
Ekahans:- And our priests too have fixed the date of marriage after 25 days! Bhabhi, just bring delicious desserts and spectacularly tasteful sweetmeats for them, so that; they bring the dates forward! I just can't wait to witness their wedding!
Katyayani (With a laughter):- Even if I do that, bhaisahab; they won't change it! We need to wait!
Kalyani:- But Ekahans, what's wrong in there? See, we need to wait for good things to happen in our lives and it's very true that the more we wait for something, the more beautiful and precious it will become to us!
Ekahas:- So true, bhabhi! I agree with you!
Rajesh:- Oahil, Ishu; come here soon, dear! We need to leave for our house now!
Ikshumati:- Grandpa, little more! We were playing with our new friends!
Kalyani:- If we wait for more time, then; we will become extremely late, dear! You will get to meet with them very soon, then you complete your games! Right? Now, get ready!
Oahilashwar:- Okay grandma, as you say! Sarvottam, we will complete the game after one week!
Sarvottam:- Definitely and it will be in your house!
Oahilashwar:- Of course! All of you have to come there! We will show you all our toys and play with them! Okay?
Sarvottam:- Definitely! We will definitely go there and participate in your games! It's our mumma promise! We will never break it!

Sanjana and Sampreeti:- Good bye to both of you!
Ikshumati and Oahilashwar:- Good bye! See you soon!
While the children were exchanging their heartwinning wishes to each other before departing from the house, the eldest son and daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Sharma walked near Kailash and Katyayani. They bent down in front of them to take blessings. The heads of the Gupta family lifted them from that position and blessed them.
Kailash:- May God bless you with all the happiness of this world!
Katyayani:- May all your dreams come true with the one blink of eyes!
Yuvanav:- Uncle, aunty; we have enjoyed a lot here with all of you!
Deetipriya:- Exactly! We feel blessed after having such royal treatment from you! Thank you for this love and adore!
Kailash:- It's our pleasure that you have enjoyed with us! Nothing can be more blissful than that of taking care of the guests!
Katyayani:- These satisfying smiles on your glistening faces are indicating your contentment! We should also thank you for this much love and respect!
At that time, Bhawan and Vaneesh also came there to take blessings from them.
Bhawan (With an innocent expression on his face):- Uncle, aunty; won't you bless us? We are also craving for it!
Vaneesha:- We also need the protection and benison from both of you before leaving!
Kailash and Katyayani:- Definitely, dear! May both of you achieve the top of your success in your lives with the happiness of satisfying all your unsung and undefined wishes!
By noticing their parents, Oahilashwar and Ikshumati also ran towards them to do the same, but before they could bend down before them, Kailash and katyayani took them into their laps.
Kailash:- Now, these are our cutest and tiniest allies! Right Katyayani?
Katyayani:- Absolutely right! We should never forget about these most adorable allies! There must be a special treatment for them!
Kailash:- Tell us, what are your favorite foods?
Katyayani:- We will arrenge all of those dishes for you!
Oahilashwar:- We don't want anything, grandpa! We are very happy that you love us like this!
Ikshumati:- We have everything! We don't have any scarcity for which we need to ask anything from you! If you want to gift us something, we won't deny, because denying someone's gift is a kind of insult to them!
Katyayani:- Oh my goodness! They are so adorable and understanding! How sweet are they!
Kailash:- Really! They have won our hearts!
By saying that, they kissed on the cheeks of the children and brought them down.
Kalyani:- But our stomachs will not be filled with these lots of "Thank you" and enormous praises! All of you have to come in our house! Tell me, do you agree with it?
Katyayani:- We completely agree with you and we will surely go to your house!
Kalyani:- And on the day of engagement, all of you must come in the early morning only!
Rajesh:- Exactly! Because, if we tell you to come in our house before some days, then you will never do that and we know it very very well! You know what Kailash, if Saubhaagya was my daughter, I would have taken leave for a year in this most special moment of her life!
Kailash:- Rajesh, please don't become angry on us! Try to understand, Saubhaagya needs to go to the court for hearings, Krish....
Rajesh:- Krish and Priya have to go to hospital, Rouhi has to go to her office and I have my own work pressure! Kailash, are you always ready to give excuses? From where do you find lots of excuses at a time?
Kailash:- This is the truth, Rajesh! I am not at all giving you excuses!
Rajesh (Smilingly):- It's absolutely alright, my friend! We can spare you in this matter, but you have to come soon on the day of engagement. We won't spare you if you become late on that particular day! The function will be held in the evening, but I want to witness all of your faces with the sunrise!
Kailash:- Okay, your highness!
The optimistic and gladsome ambience was metamorphosing the house into a Dreamland of any fairytale. The wind was delivering the message of joy while passing by the house. A hearty Godspeed was extended to all the departing troops of allies.
Rajesh indicated Saubhaagyashree to come near them, as she was watching the elders to talk. She stepped forward towards them. Rajesh smilingly caressed her head, lovingly encircled his arm around her and kissed her forehead.
Rajesh:- Kailash, now she is our daughter!
Kailash:- Definitely and Ekahans, you have to be present during the ceremony of handing over the bride ceremonially, as you have been also a guardian to her since her childhood!
Ekahans:- Oh yes! Yes! What I can say about this... I will be present at the marriage ceremony from the beginning to the extreme end and enjoy at the fullest in each and every single second!
Rajesh:- And Ekahans, you will have to be present in marriage procession of Arjun! You know, I don't like to hear "𝗡𝗢"! Right?
Ekahans:- Absolutely! I know your nature very well! Both of you are right! I will with both of you!
Yuvanav:- But uncle, how can both of them become right? You have to choose one among them!
Ekahans:- See Yuvanav, I am the luckiest person here and also in this marriage, because I have received wedding invitation from both the families and I am not that stupid and thickheaded person who will reject one of these invitations to keep another! I will keep my words in respect of both of their invitations and I will be present in the ceremonial precious event as a part of both of their relatives!
Kailash and Rajesh:- And how it would be possible?
Ekahans:- It's very easy! See, when Arjun's marriage procession will come here, I will also come here being a part of it by keeping Rajesh's wish, when the marriage ceremony will be going on, I will be present there during all the rituals, by keeping Kailash's wish and finally, when the marriage procession will return to the sharma mansion with the new bride, then; I will also go back with them!
Rajesh:- What an amazing idea you have given! Such a genius you are!
Kailash:- Really extraordinary idea!
Ekahans:- So, how is my plan?
Kailash:- Just beyond any imagination and expectations! You deserve uncountable claps!
All of them group hugged to bid farewell to each other for the last time. After breaking the hug, Kailash thought that it was the right time to tell everyone about his wish. His thoughtful mindset wasn't being unnoticed by Rajesh and Ekahans.
Rajesh (By holding his shoulder):- Kailash! What happened to you? Is something bothering you?
Ekahans:- Don't keep any doubt in your heart, just speak it out!
Kailash:- Rajesh; Ekahans, can we go for a short trip to any nearby place before their wedding ceremony?
Rajesh:- Definitely we can! Now, we just need lots of excuses to meet with our sweetheart!
Ekahans:- Exactly! Kailash, as you have given the idea then, you only give the suggestion of where we can go to enjoy this trip!
Kailash:- Then, will you visit our holiday farm house at Shahjahanabad?
Rajesh:- Oh ho! Kailash, why didn't you tell us about it earlier? From now I can visualize how much fun we going to have in that place! That will be the bestest trip ever! We will definitely accompany you! What do you say, Ekahans?
Ekahans:- What I will say further? I have already said that I am the luckiest person here and about that trip.....so, we are going to have a blast there! I completely agree with you!
Rajesh:- And what about your works in the office?
Ekahans:- Come on, Rajesh! Please don't bring the monotonous topic of office in between this never ending happiness! I will take a long vacation from office to enjoy with all of you! Tonight, after reaching at home, I will complete writing an application of leave and submit it by tomorrow in the office! Who wants to miss this type of love filled trip that too with our friends and loved ones? Absolutely no one!
Kailash:- Thank you so much! I never thought that all of you would agree to enjoy a trip with us in our farm house! It's really an amazing as well as astounding feeling for me!
Rajesh:- Not again, Kailash! Why do you always maintain this much formality? We are friends, right and this much formality isn't needed in between friends! Just take it easy and make it easy!
Kailash (Smilingly):- As you say!
Rajesh:- That's better! Oh! Kalyani, everyone is present here, where is Arjun?
Kalyani:- He was standing there only! Now, suddenly where he has gone?
Kalyani looked around by couldn't find her son there.
Rajesh:- Please go and check where he is, otherwise; we will be late for our departure!
Kalyani:- Okay, let me check!
By saying that, Kalyani went to find Arjun in other parts of the house. Saubhaagyashree was cherishing the fantabulous and pleasurable moment along with the head members of the families consisting their togetherness just like any long lost friends who had met with each other after ages.
Meanwhile, Haripriya came there secretively and silently to call her from behind.
Haripriya (In a whispering voice):- Sona, come with me!
Saubhaagyashree:- But bhabhi, everyone is here, where I will go?
Haripriya:- Don't ask anything! Just come with me!
Saubhaagyashree:- Bhabhi, I....
She couldn't even complete her words and Haripriya started dragging her by her hand while moving towards the stairs.
Saubhaagyashree:- Bhabhi, where are we going? Please tell me something! What is so mysterious about it that you aren't even uttering a single word regarding it!
Haripriya:- I would say only one thing that is you yourself will get to know about the reason very soon!
Both of them walked faster to climb the stairs very soon. After climbing for some time, they finally reached at the terrace. There was complete darkness in that place. The moonlight was glittering by falling on the water droplets which were gathering on the leaves of the saplings.
Saubhaagyashree was astonished by witnessing someone's presence amidst the darkness. Her mind was clouding with infinite confusions, but all her confusions flew away when that person turned towards them.
Haripriya stepped forward and smilingly shaked her hand with Arjun.
Haripriya:- Remember this, Arjun! This will be one of the loveliest favour you have received from me!
Arjun:- I will definitely remember this, bhabhi!
By saying that, Haripriya left from the terrace leaving them alone.
The darkness wasn't effecting them too much as the two souls started to emerge into themselves completely.
The intense gaze of the soon-to-be groom was making the the bride the most shy at her core and forced her to look down. Meanwhile, the loud utterance of Arjun's name by Rajesh made her look at him.
Rajesh:- Arjun! Where are you? Come in the dining room soon! We are getting late, dear!
Arjun:- Yes papa! I am coming!
He looked at his moon for the last time and took out the gift which he had bought for her. Saubhaagyashree was admiring his every actions.
Arjun:- Saubhaagya, I have bought this set earrings for you!
Saubhaagyashree:- But, I haven't bought anything for you!
Arjun:- I am going to have you with me! I don't need anything else!
While Saubhaagyashree was witnessing the beautiful earrings, Arjun took out his mobile phone and clicked her picture in it and the satisfactory smile adorned his face. She was merely unable to give any expression for his activities, her heart was pounding hard to tell something, but the words stopped before embracing the tongue and lips.
Arjun smilingly waved his hand in front of her to bid farewell.
Arjun:- Thank you and good bye!
Saying that, he rushed from the terrace, because he knew if he would wait there in front of her for more time, he would never be able to make up his heart and mind to take a departure.
