AMY'S POV:
Oh fish!
I'm late. I washed my face, and got changed. I make a messy bun as I don't have time to brush and braid my hair. I put jam on a slice, push my scarf in my bag, and grab my folder file.
15 minutes later, I was running outside my house with a slice of bread in my mouth. What a beautiful way to start a day!
It was midnight when I got home safe and sound... and happy as three of them dropped me off in front of my house like a damn Cinderella.
I took the medicines and fell asleep, that's why I didn't woke up early. Well, I'm not an alarm clock person. As I don't sleep or even though I fell asleep I automatically woke up at dusk.
Anyhow I managed to get college in time. I was running to my first class when I saw a stupid girl with an umbrella in front of me. I tried to pass by her when she turned around to face me.
"Joy?"
"Hey Amy."
"What are you doing here with an umbrella?" I asked and looked up to see the clear sky. There was no sign of any clouds.
"Why are you in hurry?" She asked back "Our first class got cancelled again. I've texted you. You didn't check?"
"No I didn't. I just hastily came after seeing the damn clock." She laughed at me and advised me to make it a habit to check the cellphone as a first thing in the morning. I just nodded. "So, what's with the silly umbrella?"
"Oh this! Well, my today's horoscope says that I got showered on." She said and I just made a face.
"Who in the world believe in horoscope!?"
"Me!"
"Visibly." I glanced up at her damn umbrella.
We were walking together and she put her umbrella on me too. Some students glanced and smiled to see us. I gave a side eye to Joy who smiled knowingly. I just rolled my eyes. Always the weirdest people around me!
"Hi senior!" A little girl came to say hi to me, four more girls followed her. Joy raised a brow in question.
"Hey Junior?" I'm not sure if I've seen them before. As if they know what I'm thinking they started almost together
"We were in the class yesterday."
"Oh kayyy!" Now I don't want to see their happy faces.
"We were in your class." Another one excitedly said "The mock-lecture."
Oh, now I know where this is going. And I don't want to remember anything related to yesterday - good or bad. I even cut the yesterday's date from my calendar as if it didn't exist.
"How can I help you?" I asked halfheartedly.
"Oh nothing, we just came to say hi!"
"You look beautiful by the way!"
"Yeah, we didn't realize that it was you at first."
"You changed your hairstyle?"
They speak one after one without giving me a second to reply or react to any of that. I think they were messing with me by complimenting my hairstyle.
"Thanks. Anything else! Why are you not in your class!?" I pretended to scold them like a teacher while placing my hands on my waist. They just giggled together.
"You are awesome!"
"Yeah, total girl crush!"
"I fell for your swag."
"Everyone in first year was talking about you and your style."
"Yeah and I've read some texts of regrets in our chat group."
"OMG! me too."
"Everyone who doesn't appear yesterday were feeling sorry for themselves as they missed a rocking lecture."
"Yeah and I've read a post of some freshmen. Asking for another lecture from you."
"Yeah that post gets more than two hundred likes already."
"Are you free next week?"
I just blinked for a second, trying to figure where in the hell this conversation going to... And hell no! I'm not going to do this lecture thing ever again. I've learnt my lesson very well last night.
Joy was giving me looks, well she's gonna ask hell lot of questions. Great!
"Thank you! You girls are pretty yourselves. I'm happy you enjoyed. But I'm afraid I don't have any free time. Yesterday, the lecture just happened accidentally as I was not the one to volunteer." I said and tried to reject as politely as possible. They were making sad faces, begging me to come and teach. Damn don't give me those puppy eyes! "Okay okay listen. Here's the deal. If you wanted any help, just come to me. But don't ask me to deliver any more lecture."
"But it won't be fun then..." one of them said.
"So, you wanted to make fun of me...!" I narrowed my eyes.
Her eyes widened. "No no don't get me wrong. We enjoyed your company. You are not like the other seniors we met so far." She explained.
"Yeah, and everything you taught us I still remember. Believe me I'm a nil student." Another one said. What a thing to brag about! I just stood at the loss of words.
"Some of the guys went to the teacher earlier to give your name again for..." Another one blurted out, only to get nudge from both sides.
"WHAT!!!?" I shouted at them. Oh gawd! I am bad senior.
"Sorry senior, we didn't do anything."
"Yes but we were happy."
"Please come."
"We will behave this time."
"Please."
"Pretty please!"
They were all over the place now. One of them was about to held my hand but Joy stopped her. I smiled at my friend and took a deep breath.
"Here's another deal. She will come to your class." Joy said, and I give her a look. She patted my back a little. Maybe she had a better idea to get away from this... "Okay so just tell us if you guys had any free lectures. If our timing matches, Amy will come. Just tell your classmates not to do anything silly. And inform them that she'll come to join in your free lecture. Then you can do whatever you want either learning or just fun." Joy said proudly.
They first looked at each other for a minute as if contemplating her opinion. Then turned to me and smiled which I took as a yes.
Well, I'm happy as I don't think our timings ever gonna match. Haha. They waved at us and left.
"Hey Amy hold this I will be back." Joy said while giving me the damn open umbrella. Don't tell me she was holding it up our heads the whole time! She grinned at me. Yeah, she was. Ugh...
She made me hold the damn thing and ran off to somewhere. I start walking while trying to shut this thing off. How does it work exactly?
"Hey Pol stop following me! I'm not gonna give you my jacket!!" I heard a high-pitched voice from somewhere.
Oh no! Not this early in the morning. I ran to hide, while trying to close the umbrella. Hopefully, he didn't see me.
I ran in the garden area and sat behind the bushes, hiding perfectly. Why this damn thing is not closing? I tried for a minute or two...

Suddenly the water started coming down on the umbrella. Don't tell me it really started raining. I reached out my head and my hand got wet from the... rain? So, the horoscope thing was really real!!
I looked ahead and found the whole area nice and dry. Then why in the world... I turned a little and saw familiar shoes, I tilted my head and umbrella to look up...
Freaking Tankhun! He was pouring water on me, using a watering can, quite enjoying himself.
Where in the college does he find this thing!? But that's not that important right now.
"What are you doing?" I shouted.
"What! I thought you wanted it to rained." He was laughing "And I checked the weather cast it's not possible for rain to come in next ten days."
"Just stop it." I held the umbrella over me to cover myself up.
"Just a little bit more. Ummm Do you want rainbow too?" He asked innocently making me laugh. He never fails to surprise me with his silly talk.
"Hahahaha enough. I don't want any more rain let alone rainbow." I said to smile widely.
Two minutes later...
He opened the watering can to see if there's any water left. I stood up at once, and spined the umbrella in front of him, little water drops landed on the front of his shirt. He yelled at me but didn't stop me or cover himself and I was just kept laughing at him and he kept staring at me.

We were going to the class and for some reason he walked behind me, usually he likes it when everyone followed him.
"Where's your scarf?" He asked out of the blue, I glanced at him.
"Inside my bag. Why?"
"What is it doing in your bag?"
"..." What a stupid question to ask!
He grabbed my backpack as I was walking in front. He opened the zip without even asking first. I stopped walking but before I could scold him, he pulled the scarf out of my bag. Then he came in front of me and wrapped up my neck with the scarf too tightly.
"..." I didn't know what to say.
He was walking ahead now. I looked at his back. What was that about!?

In classroom...
Today, we got Poetry in class. He rolled his eyes and make a face at teacher.
We got the group project. One of the things I hate to the college gate and back. As it was always ME who end up doing all the work in the end.
Sir wrote a few names on the board and I didn't even bother to count them. I saw my name and that's it. I'm a group leader, again. Yayyy~~
I just mourn my fate. Now I have to select a few people in this class. There were thirty students including me. Sir left and whose names were written on the board came forward.
"Whoever wanted to come in my group raise your hand." Girl besides me ask.
Should I step up or just let them choose first? Nahh that won't be a smart thing to do as they would take the one who actually pays attention in the class. I was holding my notebook ready to note down the names.
"Umm..." I looked around the class and blinked "Okay just stand up whoever wanted to come in my group." Easiest way, whoever stood up I wrote the name down gratefully. "Wha-" My eyes widened and I was taken aback a little as everyone stood up. Choco-nuts!
Grinning at one another, they were surprised by each other too.
What the... Should I write all the names down? Hah Don't be silly Amy! I took a deep breath and started.
"The one who wants me to do all the work sits down." I said and half of them sit down mostly the girls. Damn them!
"The one who liked to flirt with me... please sit down." Other halves sat down while grinning at me. Losers!
"The one who doesn't have notes on Poetry sat down." Two more sat down.
Now only six are left standing: Nanon, Joy, Tankhun and one girl and two boys I didn't know.
My friends were smiling at me 'cause they know what I'm doing, Tankhun has sparkle in his eyes for some reason. He found it funny! Silly boy.
"Sit down if you hate Poetry." Two boys sat down one of them was Tankhun. Bahaha.
"Okay so now I have Nanon, Joy and what are your good names?" I opened my pen to write names, and asked the boy and girl.
"Bright."
"Day."
I looked up at them as they said in sync, making other smiles. I smiled too as I wrote their names down.
"Okay now we had it together. Nice to meet you. Let's work hard together!" I excitedly said.
Everyone one smiled except one. Tankhun was looking at me fiercely, I ignored him as if I didn't notice his death glare on me. Haha, serves you right!
"I want to be in your group!" He declared by yelling at me loudly getting all the attention to him. I'll be lying if I said I didn't see this coming.
"But you sat down."
"So?"
"And you hate Poetry."
"So?"
"So, I will not take you in my group."
"Write my name too." He repeated this time more stubbornly.
"I don't want any freeloader. Go to the other group." I closed my pen.
He glanced at other leaders. The boys made a face while girls smiled at him shyly. Eww
"I don't like them. Write my name."
"No."
"Why?"
"I don't have any free space left for you."
"Liar!" He gave me a look.
"I'm not lying. Five students in six groups. I have five already."
"No, you don't." He glanced at the four I took in my group.
"...including me!" I pointed at myself.
"You still had one place left," He is persistent. "And you got the math wrong." He rolled at me.
"..." When did the math get into the conversation!? He gave me a look like I'm too stupid for a leader.
"Six students, five groups." He pointed at the board. And it turns out I am stupid for a leader. There were only five names on the board. I glanced at my friends and they nodded in yes too. Damn the math!
"Anyhow I don't want to take you." Now I'm acting like a kid. He pressed his lips.
"Just write my name down!!" He stood up at once shouting at me. Oh boy! I looked around and everyone was laughing at us. Even the other leaders stopped to enjoy the scene.
"Give me one solid reason for taking you in my group." I held my chin up challenging him. He stopped to think. He furrowed his brows in deep thoughts.
I was waiting for an answer. From the corner of my eyes, I saw everyone. Why in the world they were waiting for?
I looked at his face as a mischievous smile spread on his face.
"I had notes on Poetry. Brilliant one." I saw as his half face smirked at me.
"..." I was left speechless.
I didn't notice when he came forward and snatched the notebook out of my hands - possibly for writing his own damn name down himself. As he flip open the same page I was writing on, he stopped and raise his head to look at me.
I tilted my face a little. Now it's my turn to smirked at him. As he realized what just happened, I winked at him. His lips parted...

Six of us go out of the class together. I know he was glancing at me from time to time. And I know what is going on in his mind...
Well, I wrote his name because... For one, Arm took my notes and I know who got them.
For two, even if I took my notes back it was too late as he already copied them and I won't let him go to the other group with my treasure.
"So where should we go?" I asked excitedly as we needed to sit together and divide all the work for the project between us.
"To the canteen." Joy shouted matching my excitement. I gave her a look. "What! I didn't had breakfast today." She mumbled. I glanced at Nanon who also second her idea. Great!
"What about you, Bright Day?" I asked teasing the other two who glanced at each other, and turned their faces away at once.
"500. They are going to be a thing~" Joy whispered on my left side while giggling.
"50,000. the Bright boy liked you~" Tankhun leaned forward from the right side and whispered to Joy, loudly.
"My assignments! Everyone heard what you two just whispered." I said in between them. Both Joy and Tankhun looked around, smiling innocently.
"If you are done with your stupid betting, shall we?" Nanon said finally.
From the corner of my eye, I saw Bright's face turn red as Joy glanced at him.

We sat on one table in the canteen; girls on one side and boys on the other.
Joy make Nanon to go and to bought something for us. He complained a little but left. Tankhun goes to get something for himself too. Well, Nanon offers him that he'll buy something for him too but he flatly declines as he would not take any food from others.
I think that was weird because last night I bought juice for him too and he drank without mentioning anything stupid. Bright left with them and I don't know why but Day goes with them too, maybe because she's not our friend...yet.
Now it's only Joy and I.
"So?" She leaned forward and placed her elbows on the table.
"So..."
"You and him. Huh?" She glanced at where Tankhun left his bag.
"What about us?"
"You took him in the group," she wiggled her brows.
"Oh that. Well, he has notes." I chuckled.
"I'm not buying it." She narrowed her eyes at me.
"My notes!" I stated.
"Sold!" She laughed a little and continued. "Well I was not going to mention it but it looks like you are a little... ahmm... I mean you know nothing what's going on around you." She cleared her throat. I just rolled my eyes as I know she was going to call me stupid for some reason.
"What is going on that I didn't know?"
"Don't play dumb with me." She blurted out. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. "Seriously!" She slapped the table, making me stunned.
"What?"
"You and Him!" She repeated herself while pointing at me and the bag, his bag.
"What?"
She let out an exasperated breath.
"Look! I know the way he looked at you."
"It's nothing. Really. He just stared at literally everyone." I assured her. Well I know what she was trying to say. I'm not stupid.
"Not the way he did to you." She pressed at the last word. "All the time..."
"Don't put anything into my brain, Joy." I said flatly interrupting her.
"I'm not. It's just you are so you to notice anything else."
"Well, good for me as I don't want to indulge myself in stupid groundless ideas."
She remains silent for a second then started again this time in low voice.
"It's not wrong to be in a... relationship, you know!"
"Yeah, I know."
"So, what's the problem?" She asked loudly.
"First of all, it's nothing like that. Secondly, he's out of my league." I murmured lightly with a smile. She stared at me for a long minute making me self-conscious.
"I think it's you. Who's out of his league." she said with a little smile as the others came back.
"..." I just looked her... only if she knew. I glanced at the one who sat beside me, and then looked down.
'It's not like that, I know.'
