The two convoy star destroyers that had suffered shield failure and a number of their weapons had been destroyed. Suddenly, they were struck by a long-range superlaser attack from a capital ship from an unknown fleet. In one salvo, both star destroyers were destroyed.
The fate of the freighters was also not much different. All of them were destroyed due to the barrage of attacks from the enemy, who had a very high numerical advantage. Governor Trevat's Task Force suddenly appears near the planet Sullust. In front of him is a small fleet consisting of two Victory class stardestroyers and eight Carrack Cruisers.
