It was the next day. I was still a little shaken up about the dream I had last night which I couldn't remember. I just couldn't shake the feeling that it had been important. Remembering how my heart hurt like it had been ripped out into shreds after I woke up, scared me. What exactly did I dream about that would cause me to feel so much devastation and heartbreak?
I wasn't the only one who was shaken up by the dream. The handsome man hasn't left my side ever since we woke up. He has been following me everywhere and he has been touching me more than the usual. It's like he was afraid that I was going to disappear somehow. What I got from our bond was that he just couldn't get over how I screamed and cried. It must've been really bad.
We were now cuddling on the couch. He kept on kissing me on my face, squeezing me to him and breathing me in as he rubbed his nose all over me.
Me: "Zuki I'm fine."
Zukile: "I'm not." My poor mate.
Me: "I'm sorry I scared you but I'm not going anywhere. I'm here with you, always."
Zukile: "Damn right you are. You're not going anywhere. Even you can't take yourself from me."
I laughed.
Me: "You're crazy."
Zukile: "About you, yes." I smiled and kissed his chin.
Me: "Let's go outside and take a walk. It's been a while since I've seen you in your wolf form."
His eyes light up with excitement.
Zukile: "Let's."
