A/n: Hello, hello! It had been a while since I did an author's note and at the beginning of the chapter. We're trying new things here, lmao.
I haven't updated in more than a week so here is a long chapter that is just.. all over the place. And to the people who are still reading this, thank you! Enjoy!

Filming all of the pivotal scenes already, Isabella was satisfied with all of the scenes that she got to film with the cast. Right now, she was filming a scene that she had with Ariana, which should have ended a few takes ago but both of them just seem to have the giggles.
"I swear to god Isabella, if you don't stop, we're not gonna finish."
Isabella shrugged and sat on the bed, a small grin on her face. "I'm not doing anything, you're the one laughing right now."
With one last flick of the middle finger, Ariana took a deep breath and put her acting skills into play, finally getting the take they needed.
When they were both walking towards the parking lot, both of them were chatting amongst themselves, with Isabella talking about the awkward studio encounter she had with Isabelle when she and Hailee were there.
"Dude, I never want that to happen again. I wanted the earth to just fucking swallow me."
"I thought Izzy didn't like you like that?"
Isabella shrugged and just shook her head. "I don't know man, she was just so fucking weird."
"She was practically shoving you towards other women, but when it came to Hailee she stopped? It could maybe be because she knows Hailee has a chance with you?" Ariana gave her a knowing look making Isabella rolled her eyes playfully.
Izzy shook her head and they both stopped in front of their cars since their parking spots were beside each other. "I just don't like these kinds of awkward situations."
"But do you still have feelings for Izzy?" Isabella immediately shook her head. "See, then everything is sorted out. It doesn't have to be awkward, plus Isabelle has no right to be jealous. And don't think about that, right now just focus on the world cup so that you could come back to me and we could finish this amazing movie."
Isabella shook her head. "You do know that I can't make the World Cup go faster right? Whether I'm prepared or not. It's all kinda scheduled."

Isabella flew to the Netherlands already seeing as the Women's World Cup would be held at the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium, all three of them choosing to host it together, while Michelle and the twins flew to Los Angeles with Scarlett, Cosmo, and Rose to do a few things for Outset before they would all be flying to watch the World Cup and to watch Christen since they were playing the challenge cup.
The moment they landed, they had a few errands so they immediately went to the stadium so the twins and Rose could stay with Christen since they wanted to see her first.
Arriving at the stadium, they parked the car. Michelle brought out the stroller of the twins since they are bringing Cosmo and Theo with them while they go and do a few interviews since they just launched The Outset a few days ago.
Walking into the stadium, all eyes were on them as the 6 of them walked into the stadium. Cosmo was in the stroller that Michelle was pushing, her other hand had Aquila's hand while Scarlett help Rose and Diana. The 6-year-olds were talking to the 12-year-old in a very loud and animated way making their Moms look at them amused.
Hearing the loud chatter, Christen looked back and grinned when she saw her family. Rose, Aquila, and Diana ran towards her (with Rose being dragged by Diana, forcing her to run with them).
Once they reached the head coach, she bent down and gave them a hug, not having seen them for almost a month in person. "Momma!"
"Hey girls," She looked at Rose and gave her a grin, hugging her as well. "Hey, Rosie."
"Hey, Auntie Chris."
Scarlett and Michelle reached Christen, both of them giving her a hug but Michelle leaned in to give her a kiss. "Hello, my love."
They watched the drills for a while before Michelle and Scarlett got Theo and the 4 of them left.

Isabella just landed and she was immediately met with flashing lights the moment she stepped into the airport since she was meeting with a few of the Washington girls. They landed a few minutes ago and they would be waiting for the rest of the girls.
She had her shades on, trying to cover her face as she pulled her suitcase with her. Her hair was down and she was trying to move away from the clicks as the airport security led her to a private part of the airport where the girls already were.
Reaching a more private section, she immediately was jumped by Sonnett, who claimed it was a hug but it hurt too much for it to be claimed as a hug but it made Isabella laugh and hug her back. Andi and Kelley all followed suit, while she just gave Ashley Hatch a smile since they were not that close.
"How was filming?"
"It was okay, I need to film a few more but I have filmed almost all of my scenes."
Vlatko approached them with the rest of the staff making Isabella stand up from where she is sitting and go and hug him, followed by the rest of the staff. The moment all of the girls arrived, she was basically stuck between the Mewis sisters as they hogged her from everyone else.
Rose wanted to spend more time with one of her closes friends on the team but the blonde midfielders wouldn't let her so she was latching on Isabella's back making the younger girl giggle.
While Sonnett thought the best way to do it is wrestling Sam while Mal and Lindsey were watching from beside Kristie.
"You guys are impossible."

The Drew Barrymore Show: Drew Can't Get Enough of Scarlett Johansson and Michelle Press' New Skincare Line "The Outset"
Michelle and Scarlett made sure that Theo and Cosmo were both comfortable in the stroller. They were using the stroller of the twins back when they were still very little so they were both taking a nap while their mothers were getting their hair and make-up done.
It was Theo's first time seeing a baby smaller than her so when she saw Cosmo, she was fascinated, to say the least, touching his hands and cheeks while babbling something incoherent. The 4-month-old was far too amused.
They set the stroller at the side near the audience so they could get a better look at them during the interview, while the producers of the show promised to keep an eye on them. As much as they didn't want to do this, it was better than having Rose and the twins because they were far more energetic than the one-week-old and 4-month-old who just kept sleeping, both of them wearing earmuffs to protect their ears.
"Please Welcome, Scarlett Johansson and Michelle Press!" Drew introduced them.
They walked out of the curtain, waving at the audience as they cheered. Drew immediately pulled Scarlett into a hug, followed by Michelle, both of them grinning from ear-to-ear at the very energetic host. They both sat down and Drew had the biggest smile on her face.
"Oh my god, it's been a while since we have seen each other. To those of you guys who don't know, Scarlett and I go way back, she had known me in so many iterations. I am so glad Mitch didn't."
Michelle laughed and shook her head. "Oh don't worry, the feeling is mutual. My life was kinda wild."
"Oh I bet, but Scarlett was there during heartbreak, too wasted at a ber, dancing around like fools and playing games, I mean I did that with Mitch just a few months ago but you guys didn't hear that from me."
Scarlett nodded her head while Mitch chuckled. "We also spent Christmas together that one time."
"We spent Christmas in Austin, Texas-"
"And I remember your friend's Mom made every single piece of the meal was a casserole." Michelle scrunched her nose in amusement as she listened to the story. "I had never had, there were nine casseroles. It was unbelievable. It was like, a green bean casserole, a sweet potato casserole, the turkey was a casserole. It was crazy."
"I had never heard of all of those kinds of casseroles," Michelle said in amazement.
Scarlett looked at her and shook her head. "Don't get any ideas. I'll be staying with you for the rest of the year basically."
Drew tilted her head in amusement. "You don't like casseroles?"
"I do, but knowing Michelle, she will keep making me casseroles now."
"Michelle, I met you a few years ago before the Charlie's Angels shooting and I'm going to be honest and I didn't tell you this when we were filming your Ohio episode, but I was fangirling. I had been a big fan, ever since you were doing Broadway and I had followed your career through and through and it's just surreal that I get to tell people you're my friend."
Michelle felt herself blush and grin. "Thank you. But yeah, I felt like a ghost story for a while since I was in the hiding but I kept working on movie projects but we did meet once at an award show."
"Yeah, you were with Artie Abrams and Izzy, I remember that. And now we're having play dates with all of our daughters while you, me, and Christen drink wine."

"Speaking of our love lives, Scarlett and I worked together in a film called 'He's Just Not That Into You' and I remember my character has this point of view about getting rejected in several portals, there weren't half as many portals as they have now."
Scarlett and Michelle nodded their heads. "Yes, there's a lot of ways to be rejected."
The best friends looked at each other in a knowing way before bursting into fits of giggles. Drew squinted her eyes and looked at them playfully for a second before continuing her thoughts.
"So I was wondering like, do you have any dating advice for me?"
"For you? What do you mean dating advice for you? You're you."
"Cause I kinda just want to hear you guys' take on dating advice." She gave both of them a knowing look, her eye lingering on Michelle for a second longer making Scarlett lean back (her head basically leaning on Mitch's shoulder) while Michelle covered her face.
Scarlett nudged Michelle, making her nudge her back. "Michelle is an expert dater, everybody wants her."
"Oh my god."
"I mean, I understand, even I want her," Drew said, joining in on the light teasing.
"Oh my god, same."
Michelle laughed, shaking her head. "You're both going to be hearing from my wife soon."
Drew and Scarlett laughed, knowing they were just teasing... but also knowing what they were saying was true, but Christen and Michelle are so in love with each other and there is no jealousy in their relationship. That's just how stable it is.
Drew sat up straighter and leaned forward. "I'm so happy being single, I'm not desperate. I've got kids so my cup runneth over. I have the most incredible friends, the most amazing job-"
"Are you dating?"
The host of the show paused and looked at both of them with her head tilted. "I try, but I am so obsessed with the collective conscious of how difficult it can be."
Michelle tilted her head as well. "How do you meet people?"
"Well, that's a big part of the problem."
"I mean, I don't know. I can't imagine what dating would be like with kids." Scarlett and Michelle made eye contact, and that's when Scarlett remembered. "Well that's not true, I had my daughter when I met Colin and Mitch had Izzy when she met Christen. But Colin and I met in SNL, and it was like I had known him for a very, very long time through my first year of hosting was his first year of writing, so that was eons ago. When we met the timing was right.
"How about you Mitch? You didn't know Christen long when you got together, right?"
Michelle cleared her throat and shook her head. "Uh no. We met at the Tournament of Nations back in 2018 where I met the rest of the team and I saw her on the field and I knew I was hooked the moment I saw her."
The crowd cheered making Michelle nod her head and smile.
"Uh yeah, so I didn't know anything about the new team since I had been busy-"
"Saving lives."
The crowd cheered again making Michelle laugh. "Uh yeah, I was a surgeon- well I am a surgeon so I really had no time to keep to date about anything. I was fighting to save lives and trying to save my own. And during that time, I wasn't looking for anything really. I had just gotten out of a few relationships that didn't work out, I was grieving cause Abuelo just died, and I just wanted to focus on Isabella but then I saw her and it just kind of... clicked. We clicked and yeah. Moved in after 7 months of dating, got engaged 2 months later, and got married 2020."
"That was 7 years ago."
"Yup 7 years ago." The crowd cheered. "So yeah, I do agree with Scar, the timing was right. It's all about the timing."
"I remember talking to Charlize and she did talk about timing as well and how she didn't have it."
Michelle threw her head back and laughed, remembering her relationship with the older actress. "Yeah, we met back in Hunstman Winter's War, and apparently she liked me even then but during that time I was dating Gal so she didn't say anything. She waited for her chance until Laura came, then Sarah, and yeah. She was shit at timing."

"There are photos actually, that I really love and want to put up on the screen."
They both looked at the screen and smiled, pictured of the love of their lives. The crows aww'ed when they saw the sparkle in both of their eyes at the picture that popped up on the screen.
"I heard something about the both of them being parts of 'The Wives Club'? What is that about? And who is a part of that club?"
Michelle and Scarlett leaned on each other, both of them laughing while nodding their heads. "Uh yeah, so it started when we would play games for the show, or game night. The wives club generally is Christen, Colin, and Brittany because they are our partners."
"When the Gayng is with us, Meghan Klingenberg, Sue Bird, and Ali Krieger. So these are the teams when we play games."
"And you both and Santana are called Christen's Angels?" Drew asked unsure, making the both of them chuckle and nod. "WHy Christen's Angels?"
They looked at each other, remembering the time when the three of them went to Dinah's house and basically beat her and her girlfriend up when they found out she was kind of cheating on Isabella. How both Scarlett and Santana basically flew to LA from New York to do that.
"Christen is our boss, she's there to make sure we don't do anything stupid."
"Or anything that would land us three in jail."
"Were there any times where you guys were close to going to jail?" The two of nodded making Drew lean back in amusement. "Oh wow. We could see how close the two of them really are because Colin threw out a picture of him and Christen in celebration of your launch and... can we bring it up on the screen."
Scarlett and Michelle looked at the picture with a grin, Michelle laughing at the face Scarlett was making. "I have no idea why he had to compare his picture with Christen's cause look at that. That mushroom haircut."
"Okay now the question everyone is asking is, would high school ScarJo and high school Michelle be into high school Colin and high school or well college Christen?"
Scarlett scrunched her face and immediately said no while Michelle had a small grin on her face as she vigorously nodded her head. "I mean, I'm glad we didn't meet in high school cause otherwise, she would have had to deal with a very jealous Santana and Quinn but look at her. Of course, I would still be into her. Yes. Yes. Yes."
"Scarlett, I could see you shaking your head."
"Um..." She took another look up at the screen and immediately shook her head. "I don't think so no. Firstly my brother had that same haircut throughout the... both of my brother and I just can't. There's no way, I mean, who decided on that cut as a stylish thing? What hairdresser was like, I'll try this?"
(A/N: My father and a few of my cousins had this hairstyle and it was... it was not it. Here in the Philippines, we have this cleaning material called Lampaso and it's basically a coconut husk to polish the floor and it's so much like that.)
"I just love that though, they both are so cute."
"Christen is, I mean look at her, an angel. Colin on the other hand."
"Johansson getting ballsy, just because Colin is on the other side of the country."
"I mean, what is he going to do? let me sleep on the couch?"

Drew, Scarlett, and Michelle were basically on the ground now, watching as Drew gushed over the skincare products Mitch and Scar sent her. Michelle made herself comfortable on the rug, playfully laying on Scarlett's lap making the audience laugh.
But at this point, Scarlett was pretty used to it since Mitch always did this so she just played with her hair while Drew put on their skincare products on her face. "The Outset has been a labor of love and we just launched a minute ago. it's been a project Michelle and I have been working on for 5 years and now it's here."
"It's older than our youngest children."
"Speaking of youngest children, Theo and Cosmo are here with you both."
The crowd cheered while the camera panned to the stroller at the corner, not showing the faces of their children. Before turning back to the three of them.
"Yeah, it is. And it took a long time and you know, this skincare is based on our skin, both Michelle and I. I had problems with my own skin for a very very long time and did whatever I could, using every mask and prescription cream, and peels."
"Yeah, there were a lot of products that irritated my skin and I would look like I have this rash and it was just bad. So Scar and I thought we would just try and make our own. This line is meant to be... we call it like the white t-shirt of skincare. You could like, pair it with all, whatever else you are doing, and it would be effective, safe, easy, and vegan-friendly."
"I love that, that's sexy."
Scarlette started putting some of their products on Michelle making her chuckle and just letting her.
"This is fun. we should do more interviews laying on the floor."

It was near the end of their interview and now they were doing the FInal Five thing. "Michelle, Scarlett, what is your most irrational fear?"
"Irrational fear? I don't know I used to be like, I am never going to work again. I would finish a job and I would be like, welp I had a good run and I'm never going to work again."
"My fear is, materialistically, being broke and having no money. Like I was put into these situations when I was younger when I had nothing, like literally nothing. I used to be in this toxic relationship with my ex-husband where he locked me out of our joint bank account and he would give me $20 for the month where he expected me to buy groceries, pay for water and electricity, at the same time buy all these baby stuff like diapers with it so I had to sneakily find a job to be able to provide for me and my daughter."
"That's how she became a workaholic."
"Honestly, yeah."

"If you could see into the future, what would you want to know?"
"I would want to know... nothing really. I have no idea. Scarlett?"
"I would want to know if Trump is going to run again, so I could prepare myself." Michelle nodded and chuckled. "And if Michelle runs against him, loses, and she would be our first female president because..."
Mitch shook her head and covered her face. "I'm never running for president but let's see. If there really isn't a choice I mean, why not. As long as he's not in the white house."

"What is something that your kids don't find out about you?"
"Threesome."
Both Scarlett and Drew looked at Michelle in shock and amusement at how fast she answered that question. "Care to elaborate?"
"I mean, I was wild in college."
Scarlett squinted her eyes, wondering who she was talking about. Until she remembered. "Oh my god. No." Michelle duck her head and tried not to look at Scarlett, who was dying with laughter. "It was the time?"
"Yes." Michelle cleared her throat when she noticed Drew looking at them intrigued, wanting to know who it was with. "I mean, Santana is not very quiet when it comes to my private life and I'm pretty sure this was mentioned in GD but yeah, it was with Quinn and Santana."
"Oh my god."

"Would you want your daughters to have a threesome though? Like is it a recommendation?"
Michelle scrunches her face, pushing Scarlett away from her. "For my daughters?"
"For anyone. Okay take away your daughters, is threesome something you recommend? Was it good?"
Michelle was silent for a while, and that was all it took for Drew and Scarlett to lean over and laugh, leaving Michelle a blushing mess.
"I mean... it was great, some would dare say amazing."

"I recommend it with toys."

Once everyone calmed down, Drew looked at them with a big smile and shook her head. "MOVING ON!! When are you the most competitive?"
"Oh, Michelle is super fucking competitive." Scarlett looked at Michelle with a grin. "I'm answering this for you. She's competitive over everything. That's why entering a car with her is something I HATE because she drives like a racer."
"I mean, I was a racer."
"That's my point, you could easily kill me. I put in so much trust in you and I have no idea why."
"Oh, you love me. And you're also very competitive. That's why you, Santana, and I are best friends."

"Okay, last question. Is it true that you both could cry on command?"
The crowd cheered making Mitch and Scarlett grin. "Uh yeah." It even take a minute before Michelle had tears running down her face and Scarlett was already teary-eyed.
Drew looked at both of them in amazement. "Nicely down, Johansson. Press. Look at that!! TEARS!!!"
They both stood up and gave her a high-five and a hug. "This is Scar and I's audition tape for any roles that need a crying woman."
"Yeah, you need more crying rolled Mitch."
"Yeah, all your roles are action. And they all require taking your shirt off."
Michelle chuckled and shook her head. "That's part of the contract. I need to roll under a car, take my shirt off, and cry. That's it. Preferably doing all three at once."
"SCARLETT JOHANSSON AND MICHELLE PRESS EVERYONE!!"

That day, Christen, Diana, Aquila, and Rose arrived home after a long day on the field. It was quiet, which was something new since Michelle and Scarlett were home. She left the kids to watch in the living room while she ventured out to look for her wife and her wife's best friend.
She opened the door to the nursery and that's where she saw Mitch, Scarlett, Theo, and Cosmo. The babies were in the crib, both of them taking a nap, while Scarlett and Mitch were on the bed, also taking a nap.
She stepped back to take a look at the position they were both in.
Michelle was at the corner of the bed, facing the crib which was beside her, in a fetal position.
While Scarlett was sprawled out on the other side of the bed. Her right hand and her right foot basically on top of Michelle as she lay like a starfish. The position that basically started out as a joke to annoy her best friend turned into a very comfortable position for the blonde.
Christen shook her head, hearing the slight snoring (she didn't know who it came from), and put a blanket on the both of them before walking out to prepare some snacks for the girls.
Not before snapping a picture, of course.

Mic'd Up with Kristie Mewis
The team has been training for a week now, preparing to travel for the first game of the Women's World Cup so it training was just mellow.
The team was walking to the pitch, the camera focusing on Kristie, who was walking between Isabella and Lynn.
They noticed the mic and Isabella watched as Lynn moved closer to the mic. "Helloooo." Emily came and shoved Lynn making her head hit the mic and be shoved basically into her breast.
Isabella stopped walking and bent down, holding her stomach as she let out a loud laugh while Lynn chased Emily down the pitch.
"Oh my god, this needs to be the intro."

Lynn walked towards them with a pout, making Kristie and Isabella laugh. "How did it feel?"
"It was hard."
Kristie gasped before shaking her head. "I don't know if I would take that as a compliment or an insult."

Music was playing while they put their cleats on. Isabella stood up to do a bit of stretching while Kristie was dancing while sitting down. "Hey, does your mom have TikTok?"
Isabella hummed and squinted her eyes when she looked up since the sun was so high up. "She and Aunt Scar are handling the Outset social media accounts so I guess so."
"Do you think she would ever do thirst traps?"
"I wouldn't put it past her. That would be an amazing marketing move."

Kristie ran towards Kelley and put her hands out, stopping when her hand reaches her butt making Kelley flinch, but she stopped before she could hit it and slightly tap in instead.
Isabella, who was beside her, started snickering. "That's very gay of you Ms. Krsitie."

Kristie got sunblock and started putting some on her legs while she was having a conversation with Kelley. "You like the humidity? You like mustache sweat?"
.
She was training with the midfielders and they were all stretching together. She faced Rose and grinned. "We're doing the hurdles first."
"Look what we have here." Rose poked the mic making Kristie chuckle.
"I know. I don't know why you would want me to do this cause I am so inappropriate."
Rose chuckled. "That's what people like, have you seen Mitch and Izzy's mic'd up? Everything was axed."
"They do like their curse words."

They were doing hurdles and when Kristie hopped she huffed. "Ugh, I haven't got a compliment yet."

Vlatko grinned as Kristie passed. "Well done."
Kristie kept walking but she grinned. "Yes! He said well done."

Kristie started walking towards the water jugs where the forwards were doing their own thing. "LET'S GO PRESS!"
"THANK YOU KRIS!"
Kristie grinned and took a big gulp of her drink before facing Isabella again. "I LOVE YOU!"
"I LOVE YOU TOO!"

It was scrimmage time and Isabella and Kristie are in the same team again, so they were both wearing the white mesh as they went to their positions on the field. "Do you want to get something to eat after this? I found this coffee shop near the hotel."
"Anything for coffee."

They were in the middle of scrimmage when they gathered as a team. Isabella looked at her scrimmage teammates with furrowed eyebrows. "Sonny, I need you to mark Alex. I'm pretty sure Kelley is going to be near her so just prepare. Don't let her touch the ball."
"And sometimes we would all get up at the side, and I know sometimes he wants them to come down, so we keep going this way cause that side is wide open so like, make sure that someone is down the middle at all times."
"Yes, coach." Kristie nudged Isabella and grinned. "You ever thought of being a coach?"
"I mean, sure but I'm not really thinking about that right now."

Kristie screamed while running in the middle of the field, her hand going up and the ball perfectly landed on her feet.
She looked around the field while sprinting when she noticed Isabella running up to her right. "PRESS!"
She crossed the ball towards the forward and watched as she jumped. The ball hit her head and it zoomed into the back of the net. "YES!!! LET'S GO!"

Everyone gathered in the middle of the field, all of their hands reached out in the middle. "Team on 3."

It was currently the middle of the Challenge Cup and Scarlett and Michelle were by the bleachers with their kids. They were sitting beside Natalie Portman as they watched the game against San Diego.
They were all wearing Angel City merch, chanting with the crowd as the game played.

As for the World Cup, the USWNT qualified for the finals and now they were in Belgium for the game against Canada. Everybody flew out to support them.
Scarlett and Colin flew in with Mitch, alongside Angie and her kids, Pinoe and Sue, and Tobin and Kling while the rest flew in with Santana and RDJ using their own private jets.
They were all wearing Isabella's number as they stood in the bleachers with the rest of the fans and getting into the spirit.
Shiloh even walked around the pitch with Isabella before warm-up, both of them just catching up and talking, which the fans got a picture of and, not really knowing the sisterly nature of their relationship, even started shipping them.
To which they both shook their heads and laughed at because they were basically siblings.
Isabella and Hailee, on the other hand, do not have that kind of relationship. But people still didn't pick up on the way Isabella's touch would linger on the actress as they greeted each other by their seats, and missed the way Hailee kissed the soccer player's cheeks as a form of good luck.
It was odd, but Isabella was not complaining because she didn't know where they both stood, relationship-wise.
But she needed to focus, so she put her game face on after they sang the national anthem. They did the coin toss and watched the captains (in the USWNT, it was Alex) go back to their respective positions on the field.
The whistle blew. and we're off.

It wasn't even 5 minutes in the game when it was obvious for everyone that the oldest Press daughter was their target for the game, and it wasn't like Isabella wasn't used to it because the whole World Cup, she was the target, but this one was rougher.
With both teams wanting to bring the trophy home to their respective countries, they were ruthless.
Since everyone knows it would be rougher than usual, they paid extra attention to Isabella, not wanting anything bad to happen to the youngest player in the team.
But they still kept feeding her the ball because they know that she could finish any play. She's like her mothers like that.
It wasn't until the 56th minute that something happened to Isabella.
They were on the lead, with Izzy scoring a goal during the 42nd minute and with her almost goal during the 7th minute, everyone was really feeding her the ball.
One of the Canada players put their feet out to intentional trip Isabella, wanting to slow her down. Everyone started shouting when they watched Isabella roll on the field, clutching her wrist that she unintentionally landed on.
The medic immediately went on the field to check up on the young player while everyone was basically towering over the defender.
Jessie Flemming beside the US forward, trying to comfort Izzy.
Everyone could see the tears running down her face as she clutched her hand closer to her chest while the red card was given to the Canadian defender.
The tears alarmed everyone because everyone who know Isabella that she doesn't cry unless it really fucking hurts.
And this looked like it really fucking hurt.
But they still saw her shake her head when the medic was talking to her before she stood up and gave them a reassuring look. The medic walked off the field and Isabella faced her teammates.
"Are you sure you're okay?"
Izzy hummed and looked at the bleachers, making eye contact with her parents, her sisters, and with the girl she has strong feelings for. That gave her the determination to keep playing, needing to win that trophy.
for them.
And that's what she did.
The United States won their 6th star, with Isabella contributing more than half of their goals.
In the end, she won 3 awards.

And she was the Leading player of the match winners by tournament, which wasn't a shock to anyone really. She was just that good.
This leads us to where they are now, in the locker room, blasting champagne all over the walls and singing their hearts out as they danced around.
Smiled all over their faces.
Until their phones dinged with an Instagram notification, giving them a bigger reason to celebrate.
