Isabella had already packed some of her clothes in the suitcase with the USWNT logo on it, ready for the week she was going to have.
Shebelieves is next month, so she was pretty stoked to be back in the pitch with her national teammates since it had been a while, with her playing at Stanford and everything.
"Do you have everything?"
She went through her mental checklist, making sure that she didn't forget anything.
"Yup, everything's in the bag already."
They all entered the car, all choosing to bring Isabella to the airport before going to the Banc of California Stadium for ACFC training.
"Be good, and say hi to everyone for us."
With one last nod, Isabella walked into their private jet, the one that would be taking her to Austin, Texas where training would happen.

Arriving at the airport, Isabella was immediately met by people walking towards her with smiles on their faces. She was the only one they left since everyone is here already, so they immediately went to the bus to go to the hotel.
Sam, Rose and Sonnett were beside her right away. They entered the bus and Isabella looked around, trying to find a seat.
"Sit with me."
Sonnett pulled her down making her look at her confused
"How about Lindsey?"
"She has Mal."
Isabella nodded and they both went back to catching up with each other.
Reaching the hotel, they were giving their room keys and who they were roomed with, Isabella being roomed with Sophia Smith.
They both went up to their rooms, changed their clothes, went back for the meeting and had dinner. Choosing to sleep early for training since Isabella was doing Mic'd up during training.

Isabella Press Mic'd Up- March Training Camp
Isabella walked into the pitch, excited for her first day back training with the team. She felt someone nudge her, only to see Alex Morgan giving her a smile.
"The baby is all mic'd up."
A bunch of her teammates jogged by, stopping when they noticed the mic. Kelley flung her arm around Isabella while she walked beside her, leaning in closer to the mic before basically screaming.
Isabella chuckled and pushed her away, "I'm sure they lOvED that you broke their eardrums."
"Hell yeah they did."

Noticing new faces she had never met before, Isabella walked towards some of her new teammates. "Hey, Isabella Press. Nice to meet you."
She flashed them her charming smile, making all the other teammates look at her with raised eyebrows becuase they noticed a different glint in their eyes when they looked at the young forward.
"Emily Fox."
"Aubrey."
"Trinity Rodman."
Crystal walked towards them, a water bottle in hand, handing it to Isabella. "Future politician."
Isabella snorted and shook her head. "In this economy? Never."
She walked towards Rose, missing the looks Emily, Aubrey and Trinity gave each other.

Vlatko called Isabella over, making her jog towards the sideline. "Yes coach?"
"You feeling okay? We missed you kid."
Isabella nodded her head and flashed him a reassuring smile, knowing he was concerned made her heart melt.
They both kind of had an uncle-niece bond, seeing as he watched her grow, meeting the young forward when she was 11, ever since Michelle was in Reign.
"I'm okay Uncle Vlad, I promise."
"Okay, just wanted to make sure."
A bunch ot her teammates started to call her, so Isabella looked at her coach, biding a silent 'bye' before making her way towards them.

They all gathered in the middle of the field. Isabella had her hand on her waist as Emily started calling the rest.
"Listen here you little shits..." the defender glanced at Izzy and pcut a hand on her shoulder. "Not you Isabella, you're perfect, an angel, and we're happy to have you here."
Isabella grinned and gave the blonde defender a side-hug. "Thanks."

"What projects are you working on?"
"No."
"Next album then?"
"No."
"Sonnett, leave Izzy alone."

They were doing some drills, with Sam and Rose on either side of her. "Yoi have plans after this?"
Isabella hummed, all three of them doing drills while catching up with each other.
"Probably going to visit my Tia, she and my Lola owns a restaurant here in Austin and Mom said she wanted to see me. You guys want to come?"
They both nodded. "We'll drag Sonnett, Lynn, Sophia, Lindsey and Abby."
Kelley then walked towards her, a bunch of the other vets (Crystal, Julie, Alex, and Alyssa). "Heeey, when do we get to spend time with you?"
"Yeaah, you free tomorrow? It's off-day."
Isabella gave them a sad smile, remembering that she had to meet up with Hailee since she was flying to Austin cause she had work stuff.
"Sorry guys, I have to meet up with someone. It would have to take the whole day, but we could all get dinner together."
They all shared looks, before looking at her. "Ooohhhh, who you meeting with?"
"Do you mothers know?"
"Mhm, now get off my back and go back to doing your drills."
"Is there something wrong here?"
They all started rushing away when they heard Vlatko's voice, making Isabella chuckle. She turned back to start doing her drills, when she head their head coach clear his throat.
"So... who are you meeting up with?"
Isabella groaned and gave him a playful glare. "Not you too."

Isabella was standing in the middle of the field, scratching her chin as she watched everyone go to the bench to get water, when Sofia Huerta walked over to her with a water bottle.
She handed the bottle to the young forward, making the oldest Press child smile. "Thank you."
"You're welcome."
They both sat on the grass and watched their teammates joke around. "How's the Seattle house?"
"Still standing." They both chuckled. "Annoying neighbors though, Karen and Janette kept asking where your Mom was."
"Yeah, we found out they had a crush on her. It was weird."

Isabella, Sophia Smith, Tierna Davidson, and Mallory were laying on the grass, just cloud watching.
"Look, that cloud looks like a goose."
Tierna squinted her eyes, trying to see the cloud Mallory was pointing at. "I don't see it."
Sophia then pointed up, at the same direction Mal was pointing at. "There, beside the man holding a bucket."
"Oh yeah, that looks like a man holding a bucket. He even has a hat."
"Huh?"
Spotting the clouds they were talking about, she also pointed at it. "Yeah, above it is the dragon about to eat the pig."
"Okay, what the hell? What are you guys seeing that I don't?"

Isabella tilted her head to get a better look at Kelley. "Oh shit shit shit shit fucking shit. Is that what you mean O'Hara?"
"I'll tell your Mom."
"Do it, I bet you she'll just do the same."

Isabella hummed, trying to keep a straight face and focus on the ball since Sonnett was just trying to distract her.
"Wanna do a tiktok dance after this?"
"Emily, stop."

Running across the field, Isabella put her hand up, catching Kristie's attention. She quickly kicked the ball across, landing directly on Isabella's feet, and once it did Isabella ran towards their goal and kicked it at the top left corner.
"Yeaaahhhhh."
Her teammates that were close to her gave her a high-five, making her smile and slap their hands.
"Combination of Christen and Michelle, damn."
"Stop flattering me, it only fuels my ego."
She winked at Sophia, both of then sharing a smile before going back to their positions.

The ball landed on Tierna's feet, before passing it to Kristie.
Isabella starts rubbing beside her, while clapping her hands.
"LET'S GO LESBIANS!! LET'S GOOO!!"

In the middle of the scrimmage, Isabella tripped on her own feet making her stumble. "Oh fuck."

"If Kelley goes this way, Alex takes the ball but this side would be free... so I gotta go this side."
Lynn looked up from beside Isabella and gave her a questioning look. "Hmm? Sorry? What was that?"
Izzy looked at her, realizing she said that out loud. "Oh shit, sorry, I was talking to myself."

Isabella jumped to try and deflect the ball, but it just hit her directly on the breast area.
She stopped in her tracks for a second before running back to her position.
"That was the most action I got in a while. And I got it from a fucking ball? Sheesh."

They ended up winning the scrimmage 9-3. They gathered in the middle while Vlatko said some words.
After a small words of encouragement and a few instructions, they all went in a huddle. "Team on three."
"One."
"Two."
"Team."
