Hayasaka's POV. Kaguya's Room, Shinomiya Manor.
And here we go again with Kaguya-sama.
Ever since the Student Council has disbanded, she and the president didn't talk for the past three days.
And here we are, Kaguya-sama burying her face in her pillow as she despairs of her current situation.
Hayasaka: You should just go up to him.
She replied in a muffled voice.
Kaguya: D-Don't be ridiculous!
She suddenly sits up and stares at her pillow.
Kaguya: If I went up to him, it'd be like a confession that I'm lonely without the President!
Hayasaka: Come to think of it, the same goes for me and Kaedehara-kun. I mean.......he's been busy in the past few days.
Hayasaka: Though he's not in the student council anymore, he's been busy in the Music Club and their café, since it's Fall season, on which their café is at it's total peak.
Kaguya: In fact, maybe the President is lonely without me?
Hayasaka: Is she getting delusional here?
Kaguya: It's even possible he'll come up to me with a confession of love!
Hayasaka: Yep, she's getting delusional.
Hayasaka: Yeah. Yeah.
I picked up my tablet and scrolled through the photos of Kaguya-sama and the president together.
Hayasaka: On your way to visiting Kaedehara-kun, fireworks, birthday, moon-viewing party........
Hayasaka: I'm surprised there is still no progress after all these events.
Kaguya: Then let me ask you the same!
Kaguya: Did Kaedehara-kun answered your confession!?
Hayasaka: Not yet. In fact, I have a problem.
Kaguya: What do you mean?
Hayasaka: Fujiwara-san and I became aware of our feelings for Kaedehara-kun.
Kaguya: *sigh*
Kaguya: Looks like Kaedehara-kun is going to have a lot problems.

I just saw her shaking and clutching her bed clothing.

Hayasaka: Are you saying that I don't have the capability to do that?

Kaguya: But if you actually tried it, you'd understand the struggles I go through!

Kaguya: You can say anything with words. But I wish you wouldn't make grandiose claims you can't back up!
Hayasaka: 💢

Hayasaka: I bet you wouldn't be able to do the same.
Hayasaka: You know what, fine. I dare you.
Hayasaka: Try to seduce Kaedehara-kun, in one day! Let's see if you can still say your big words today!
Hayasaka: You are one of the most beautiful girls of Shuchiin, right? Then prove it, if your beauty can even make the Maple Prince fall.
Kaguya: Oh, now you're challenging me? Alright, deal. I'll do it. Don't regret that if Kaedehara-kun suddenly falls in love with me!
Hayasaka: As if Kaedehara-kun will fall in love with someone like her.

Ryota's POV. Kaede Café.
Flip the door sign from "closed" to "open" and.......
Ryota: All right. Another day of work.
Koharu: Ryo-chan, can you get our maple syrup at the back?
Ryota: Okay.......
I went to the storage room and grabbed at least two bottles of maple syrup.
Mom just got this idea to make a new recipe.
Instead of making the usual pancakes that you can stack........she said that why not make it a literally cake.
Saya, Dad, and I questioned the nature of this idea for our new menu.........until we tried it out.
The thing that you will do is to just literally, make the pancake batter to the same amount of your standard cake.
The twist that my mom made is that, by adding vanilla filling inside the cake, and then the maple syrup to act as.........."icing" to which we really found it questionable.
Well, I'm used to these kind of weird things, to the point that it somehow became normal to the Kaedehara household.
As soon as I'm on my way to the kitchen, I heard the bell chimed to welcome our first customer for the day.
Ryota: Welcome to Kaede Café—
But to my surprise, it was none other than Shinomiya-san.
Ryota: Um, Shinomiya-san? Is there anything you want?
She quickly walked straight towards me and with a bow.
Kaguya: Can you let me work here for at least a day?
Ryota: ..................
Ryota: What's gotten into her? As if someone like her can handle the workload of our café.
Ryota: Um..........
Dad who is at the counter and heard what happened........
Tatsuya: Um, Kaguya-chan, are you sure about that?
She flinched when she heard my Dad's voice.
Kaguya: I-I was just curious on how you do things here and since you are busy, maybe I could lend a helping hand.........
She just sweatdropped.
Tatsuya: I heard from my son that you have a talent in tea ceremony.
Kaguya: Y-Yes.......
Tatsuya: As expected from the Shinomiya Household.
Kaguya: Pardon?
Tatsuya: Nevermind.
Tatsuya: Anyways........
Tatsuya: Ryota, bring her to your mother.
Ryota: Roger that.
I brought Shinomiya-san to my mother who is also working at her newest invention.
I explained the situation to her........
Koharu: Hm, I see. I see. So you wanted to experience how we do things here?
Koharu: Are you sure you're not here to spy on us, Kaguya-chan?
Mom's intimidating aura is even enough to make Shinomiya-san to tremble.
Kaguya: I-I wouldn't dare do that, Koharu-san. I'm just curious on how Kaedehara-kun lives his daily life outside of school.
Koharu: Hm, well, if that's what you want. Then follow me, I'll go grab you a uniform that will fit your appearance.
The two of them went to the staff room to change as I went back to the counter and it seems like we got some customers now.
Tatsuya: Ryota, could you take the order of Table no. 23 and bring the order of Table 38?
Ryota: Roger that.
After serving and taking orders........Shinomiya-san came out from the staff room wearing a uniform.
All of our male customers were astonished, as for our female customers, they squealed as they find it cute.
Tatsuya: Koharu, what did you?
Koharu: Ehe.
Kaguya: K-Koharu-san, is this really necessary?
Koharu: Now, now. Kaguya-chan, you can ask Ryo-chan to show you the ropes.
She leaves for the kitchen as Shinomiya-san nervously approached me.
Kaguya: I-I'll be in your care.
Ryota: All right. Then, as far as I know, tea brewing is your specialty, right?
Kaguya: Yes.
Ryota: Hmm........we serve here mostly coffee.........
Ryota: Well, somehow, brewing tea and coffee are similar.
Ryota: Come on, I'll show you how we do things here.
We went to the counter as Dad lets us to take over the counter.
Saya: Ryota, customer of table no. 17 wants Irish Coffee.
Ryota: Irish Coffee, huh?
I stared at Shinomiya-san, and I figured it would be the first test.
Ryota: All right, Shinomiya-san. Listen up.
Ryota: Here is what you need to do for Irish Coffee.
Ryota: Heat the coffee.......
I gave her the coffee beans that is needed for brewing.
Ryota: You can use the brewing machine over there.
I list down the steps that she needs to use the brewing machine.
Surprisingly, she adapted very quickly. As expected of a genius like the Prez.
Ryota: Now, get the cup, and pour the hot coffee in it.
Kaguya: Got it.
Ryota: Next, put one teaspoon of brown sugar, and 4 cl of Irish Whiskey.
Ryota: Be careful with the whiskey though, we don't want our customer to get drunk with it.
She delicately followed my instructions.
Ryota: All right.
I did the finishing touches and put the cream on top.
Ryota: And done!
I grabbed the tray, placed the cup of Irish Coffee, and let Shinomiya-san give the order.
Shinomiya: E-Eh!?
Ryota: You did most of the work, anyways. So better do it until the end.
She nervously picks the tray and I can see her hands are shaking.
I smiled as I gently held her hands to let her calm down.
Ryota: Deep breaths, stay calm and collected. How will you face the Prez if you are acting all flustered and stuff like that.
Ryota: This is your boot camp to overcome your nervousness.
Ryota: Now go ahead and serve it.
She gave me a nod and smile.
Kaguya: All right.
After a lot of orders and customers passed...........
Ryota: *sigh*
Me, Saya, Shinomiya-san, and Dad are all exhausted...........
Kaguya: I know I saw how you deal things here but I never thought it would be this tough when you're the one dealing with them.
Ryota: That's just how things are here..........
Saya: Yep.......
Tatsuya: Hey, wanna go taste Koharu's new cake? I noticed that a lot of customers really liked it.
Ryota: I never even expected that it will be a hit.
Saya: Well, we did all those weird cake recipes in the past, this may be normal to us.
Ryota: Haha. You're right.

Kaguya's POV.
So that's how the Kaedehara Family spends their day.
I couldn't help but smile because they have such a nice family.
Hayasaka, it seems like I didn't managed to seduce Kaedehara-kun but..........
Somehow, I had fun because I got to experienced new things.
Hayasaka sure is lucky if Kaedehara-kun chooses to marry her.
When the café finally closed......I bid my farewell to the Kaedehara Family.
I met up with Hayasaka and.........
Hayasaka: I'm not surprised. Well, I also attempted to seduce him during work but.......
Hayasaka: They're just so busy.
Kaguya: *sigh*
Hayasaka: All right. It's a tie, then.
