In a basement somewhere, multiple boys, approximately four to five years old each, were bound in their hospital beds. Most of them look lifeless, and some of them feel frightened.
They don't know how they got there, but the next thing these kids remember is that they're trapped inside the basement. The green-haired boy—Midoriya Izuku—is one of the kids that was in the basement. He was the son of the pro hero—Dragon. Besides that, he also came from a billionaire family, a royal lineage.
He was scared, but he couldn't cry or shout. He lost his sense of pain and some of his emotions from various drugs that were injected into their bloodstream.
"Z-zuku, are you alright? T-the medicine that they injected this time is too strong..." The blonde boy next to him weakly replied.
It was Katsuki Bakugo—Izuku's childhood friend. He is the son of the famous Bakugo family, which held many fashion conferences and owns many companies nationwide.
Now, his voice clearly indicates his fear that Izuku might die in front of him because of the tortuous treatment they get from the mysterious people every day. Katsuki knows how fragile his friend is, so he's terrified of losing his best friend.
"I-I'm alright, Kacchan. I only feel tired. My body is also stiff with these binds binding me to the bed. It hurts..." Izuku weakly replied with a gentle smile, though it couldn't be considered genuine as it had a hint of sadness and fear deep inside.
"Don't sleep, 'Zuku. Just keep talking. I want to hear you at least once every five minutes..." Katsuki replied. He—no, every kid in the basement couldn't see each other as their eyes stopped working. Their blindness was temporary, probably caused by a quirk.
"Ok, Kacchan. Same to you." Izuku slightly chuckled. Unknown to them, there was a boy next to them. He has heterochromia, and his hair was evenly split into two colors: white and red.
I—envy them.
Somehow, the boy felt jealous despite his current state. He was the son of Todoroki Enji, aka Endeavor.
Since he awakened his quirk, his father didn't make him play with his brothers and sister. On top of that, he didn't even have a single friend.
Hearing what the two boys beside him were saying, he couldn't help but feel envious of their affections. It's something that he wanted to also feel.
Suddenly, the basement door opened, and three men appeared. The one who leads the group looks like a mad scientist. The other two have many tattoos on their arm, along with the guns and knives on their hips.
"Out of twenty children, 13 were still alive but mentally dead. On the other hand, seven still have their mental strength. I expected to have one or two, so I am surprised..." The mad doctor muttered with a malicious smirk on his face.
"Doctor, what should we do to these 'mentally dead' children?" A colleague asked.
"Kill them and throw them somewhere. I don't care. Take those trashes away from here..." The mad scientist giggled, which made the three boys feel chilly.
"Doctor, I am curious, but why did you inject them so much of 'that' medicine?" Another colleague asked in curiosity.
"Heh. One of these medicines can make your body capable of handling many quirks. I injected fifteen of these medications in their bloodstream, so they should be able to handle six to seven quirks." Katsuki, Izuku, and Shoto could not see the doctor's face. However, they can tell that the mad doctor is staring at them with an intense murderous and killing intent, sending shivers down their spines.
"Now, since they could handle that many quirks now—I should give them the final medicine and make them submit to us!" The mad doctor maniacally laughs.
"What's with the final medicine?" Another colleague appeared and stared at the lifeless kids around him. Behind him, several more men appeared, instantly killing the already 'dead' kids and taking them away from the room.
The execution was silent as if those kids were already dead when they got killed.
"These medicines were given to me by 'that' doctor. It consists of five bio-artificial quirks! Once injected, these quirks would violently enter and transmute inside their body, manifesting the quirks from the medicine!" The mad doctor continued laughing, making the three boys more shocked. It was impossible to have three quirks! That's what the three of them think.
Then—the doctor smiled at the seven of the kids.
"It's a pity that the doctor only gave me five quirk serums. Let's get rid of two of them..." The doctor slowly observed the kids and smirked. Seven kids were shaking in fear when they heard it.
'Please, don't kill Kacchan. Please!'

The two boys inwardly begged but couldn't verbally do so as their bodies refused to cry and shout. It's as if something big was inside their mouth.
"Those two kids—" Katsuki and Izuku instantly froze when they heard the man. They are scared to get killed by the villain.
"Those two kids also don't have any emotion. They're only breathing heavily, but I couldn't hear anything in their mind." Izuku closed his eyes, realizing the mad doctor should have a mind-related quirk.
"What are their names again?" The mad doctor asked.
"Haruka Sai, the son of a hero family, but their family wasn't that famous. On the other hand, the other kid is called Kirigaya Hatsu, another son of an American hero called the [Sword Hero: Issen]." A colleague responded.
"So they're useless. They are both sons of pro heroes, but they weren't known. How about the other five?" The mad doctor asked.
"From the far left, there's Watari Rei, the son of a Chinese pro hero. Then, the boy with green hair and emerald eyes was Midoriya Izuku, the son of the pro hero Dragon and the heir of the Midoriya family. The boy next to him was Katsuki Bakugo, the son of a worldwide-known fashion company CEO. There's also Todoroki Shoto, the son of the number two hero: [Endevour]. And lastly, Kyosuke Aki, the son of the famous doctor—Kyosuke Mori." The man replied.
"I see—the two with almost no emotion were Haruka and Kirigaya, huh? Kill them and throw them off. They have no use to us. They're just the son of a nobody pro hero..." The mad doctor chuckled.
"The most useful to us were Midoriya Izuku, Katsuki Bakugo, Todoroki Shoto, and Kyosuke Mori. But since Watari Rei survived fifteen dosages, I'll also give him the serum..." The mad doctor said as he stared at the kids.
Men began to take their knives and immediately stabbed those two kids with no hesitation.

The painful and agonizing cry of the two chosen kids rang throughout the room. Tears formed around the kids' cheeks, who survived the crazy experimentation of the mad doctor. Then, a moment later, the cry stops.
Even if Izuku, Katsuki, and Shoto couldn't see anything, they could tell those two were most likely dead by now.
'I can't help but feel sorry. At the same time, I feel relief that it wasn't Kacchan,' Izuku feels strange. It's as if the guilt and death were nothing to him anymore.
Bakugo thought the same thing for his best f. He was relieved that it wasn't his precious best friend and felt he didn't have any guilt over the other kid's death.
"But I still couldn't believe we kidnapped more than fifty kids, but only five survived. You're really enjoying this, doctor Ybrahim..." A colleague smirked. At first, there were fifty subjects, but it was reduced to 34 when the seventh dose was injected. It was getting reduced as the number of dosages kept increasing.
"Yeah. Now, the problem was how to distribute these serums. What quirk does all of them have?" The mad doctor asked.
"Watari had Heal, Midoriya had Fire Breath, Bakugo had Explosion, Todoroki had Half-cold Half-hot, and Kyosuke had Elemental Berserk." The informant responded.
"I have two angel-related quirks, two demon-related quirks, and one dragon-related quirk. The dragon one should definitely be Midoriya's serum as his quirk was dragon-related. On the other hand, Explosion and Elemental Berserk were slightly villainous quirks, so I'll give them the demon ones. Then, the angel ones should be Watari and Todoroki's." The mad doctor concluded as he took the first syringe, the dragon-related quirk serum.
The mad doctor walked towards Izuku, instantly injecting the serum into his arm without prior notice. It's all too sudden.
"Ahh! Ughk!" Pain and heat violently appeared inside Izuku's body. It was like Izuku's organs were getting ripped apart and being formed again. He can also feel that his bones are also melting.
"D-deku..." Katsuki could hear his friend's agonizing voice. He couldn't shout to the mad doctor since he couldn't move thanks to the fifteenth dosage. His eyes were filled with tears, thinking he couldn't do anything for his best friend.
The mad doctor took another, an angel-related serum, and immediately stood beside the Watari Rei kid. "Next is this guy—!" The mad doctor said as he inserted the syringe needle into his bloodstream.
"Ugh! Ahhhh!" The boy shouts in pain and agony.
The doctor did this for the rest of them. All of them felt that something was coming out behind them. And it was something that they believed that could kill them.
A moment later, the silence grew in the basement.
"Hahaha! Three out of five kids survived! It's a success!" The mad doctor maniacally laughed as he stared at Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoroki, who was panting badly. Midoriya gained majestic blue-feathered wings, Bakugo got red demonic wings, and Todoroki had bloodied white angelic wings.
Three of their eyes filled with hatred and anger. Their eyes glowed, and the three of them rushed toward the doctors.
"W-what?! You said they wouldn't be able to move for a while?!" A man asked as he subconsciously held his gun. When the man was about to pull it out, Bakugo seemed to take it before him.
'F-fast!' The man thought.
These boys somehow lost control over their bodies, moving into their accords. Despite losing control, their actions most likely depended on their desires to live.
In an instant, Bakugo uses the gun and shoots every one of them. Midoriya burns them, and Todoroki freezes them, leaving no one alive. It was a brutal and gruesome scene, with dead bodies scattered everywhere.
Then, unexpectedly, the wall nearby suddenly exploded out of nowhere, revealing a bright light blinding the three kids.
The light that they could consider this time as—their hope.
