"We'll be okay Chris, you don't have to worry about the twins and me. You only have to worry about yourself. Cody, Tyler, and Channing are staying in the house right?"
"Yeah, Tyler is driving me from the house to the Stadium."
Michelle bent down to get some extra clothes for her and the twins and shoved them in a duffel bag since she knows that the twins would be dancing with her. This is something the three of them did, every time they see one of them dancing, all of them have to join in.
And this is rehearsals. For Broadway. For shows that have intense choreography.
So Michelle predicts that the girls would fall asleep earlier than usual because they would be dancing nonstop.
"You have to go back to sleep babe, it's 2 in the morning there."
"I can't sleep, Little Foot keeps kicking. I think she misses you."
"I miss the both of you too, we're flying over there in 3 weeks for Christmas and then you have us until Little Foot is finally here."
Michelle could hear the sigh coming out of Christen's mouth making her pout, missing her wife extra. Hearing her voice was not enough.
"I know. Don't forget the calendar and the scripts."
"Don't worry honey. we got that all covered. It's just readthrough today and then we start blocking tomorrow."
"You sent their scripts through their emails right?"
Michelle chuckled, amused to see that Christen was the one that seemed to be anxious instead of her, which was something that never really happened since Michelle is the control freak out of the two.
"We sent it to them 2 weeks ago, honey, they would have been familiar with their lines and lyrics at this point. Don't worry about it and get a shut-eye."
Christen sighed and nodded her head, even though Michelle could not see her, she knows that's what she did. They ended the call because Christen needed to sleep, while Michelle grabbed the duffel bag and carried the sleeping 5-year-olds, and buckled them up in the car seat before driving to the hospital since it was way too early for them to go to the rehearsal studio.

"I hope you know that being cleared does not mean that you are free to do whatever you want Grace, remember the check-ups. I'll see you next week for a follow-up."
Michelle gave one of her patients a playful look, smiled at all of the people in the room before turning around and walking down the hallway, a few interns and residents following after her like lost puppies.
She had her clipboard in hand, checking in on the vitals of her patients today when she felt someone nudge her. She looked up and saw Meredith giving her a look.
"Don't you have to be at that rehearsal studio? It's 8:30."
"We're about to go, I'll just have to hang my lab coat in the lounge."
"It's a pain in the ass that you're here, by the way, I thought I was finished with having to look after you and stop you from working."
Michelle gave Meredith a smirk before handing her the clipboard.
"Blame your sister, she's the one who encouraged me to come back to the hospital."
Meredith gave Michelle a look while handing her a chocolate bar, making Michelle smile at her thankfully. She went to the Attending's lounge and hung her coat before going down to the daycare to get the twins.
Once she saw the twins, the smile on her face widened but she chuckled when they immediately went for the chocolate she was holding.
"Nice to know that you both love the chocolate more than me."
The twins split the chocolate bar, both of them taking small nibbles as they held onto Michelle's hands and started walking to the parking lot of the hospital, waving at everyone they know as they left leaving the nurses and the doctors with huge smiles on their faces.
Michelle made sure that they were all buckled up in their car seats, before they went on and ventured with New York traffic, making the, what was supposed to be a 10-minute drive, turn 25 minutes.

They parked the car and all three of them entered The New 42 Studios where they would be rehearsing for a few months. The twins were both having a conversation about something they saw out the window, while Michelle held their hands so they could all enter the elevator since their rehearsal studios were on the 7th floor.
She was a part of 2 Broadway Musicals right now, Six the Musical (with Santana, Quinn, Britt, Tina, and Mercedes), and in a new original broadway called the Prom so they decided to get the same rehearsal studio on the same floor to make it easier for Mitch to go back and forth between both rehearsals.
Michelle being extra and overworking herself? When is she not?
Michelle gave everyone in the elevator a smile before she started listening in on the twin's conversation, not realizing that there was a person in the elevator with them who was a part of her cast for her other project.
Do they know that they would be working with Michelle? There is a reason why Marvel chose her for her role in Black Widow. Privacy is incredibly important for her (which is ironic because of Glory Days and The Presses) so of course, no one knows, not even most of the people involved.
The elevator opened and the 4 of them walked out the elevator, catching Michelle's attention. She gave the girl a smile before walking to the smaller studio since they had a smaller ensemble for Six. It was literally just the 6 of them and the band.
Mitch pushed the door open, only to see everyone in the room already. She smiled at them, before going over beside Mercedes and Tina while the twins sat beside Santana and Quinn, who handed them both a copy of the script.
"Did you guys just start?"
"Yeah girl, everyone just arrived, don't worry. We did introductions already, so you could start with that."
Mitch nodded and rolled her sleeves up, her hand holding a copy of the script, the rehearsal calendar, and the vocal scores, and cleared her throat.
"Nice to see everyone today, I am Michelle Press, your choreographer, director, and one of the producers."
"She wrote the whole thing."
Michelle shrugged and started explaining the whole musical before the 6 of them did the whole show since it was a new musical and no one has ever heard it before, and Glory Days are not out yet so they really had no idea what the fuck the songs are about. (If you read Glory Days, ya know what it is KEKW)

Since the whole musical lasted about an hour, they were able to finish the read-through just in time for Michelle to go to the other side.
They all stood around the room, listening to Michelle's instructions before she went to the other rehearsal studio that was across the hall.
"So, you're going to be working with each of us for the week, just to get a better feel of the song and the emotion behind the song cause coincidentally, we could all relate to the queens in some shape or form, and then next week, we would start with the choreo. Does that sound good?"
They nodded and Michelle watched Sam walk over since she would be playing Katherine Howard.
"I have to go to the other side so if you are willing to stay a little longer today, then we could start working on the song, or you could come over to the other side and I could help you while I'm helping the other side."
Sam nodded her head, happy that she gets to work with the busy woman somehow. Michelle scanned the room to see everyone talking to each other.
"I really have to go but you could sit with Quinn since she is the one that is least likely to corrupt you."
They could hear Tina protest at the other side of the room, making both of them laugh.
"You convinced our principal that you were an 'Asian Vampire' and that you are the most vicious of vampires back when we were in high school."
Tina shrugged and gave her long-term friend a cheeky grin.
"You gotta do what you gotta do."
Michelle turned to Sam and they both started walking towards Quinn and Abby."
"Take care of her for me Quinny, I have to visit the other side."
The blonde girl nodded and pulled another chair so Sam could sit with them before Michelle and the twins started walking to the other side.

Opening the double doors of the rehearsal studio on the other side, Michelle felt all eyes on her and hear gasps as she and the twins made their way to the middle of the room. She quickly hugged Bob Martin, Chad Beguelin, and Matthew Sklar.
Her eyes scanned the ensemble, her eyes meeting the striking faces of a few people she knew ever since she was little, and gave them a small nod of acknowledgment, before listening in as they did introductions.
"And last but not least, we have 2-time Tony award and I think at this point 25 Grammy? and 5-time Emmy award winner, the one and only, amazing and talented Michelle Press. Who, fun fact, made history when she was 7 for being the youngest person to ever win a Tony for her performance in Annie the Musical, as she played Annie."
Michelle gave them a small wave and a shy smile and she shuffled on her place.
Beth Leavel, Brooks Ashmanskas, Christopher Sieber, and Angie Schworer all cheered as they watched Michelle with proud eyes.
They have known the girl ever since she was younger. Beth actually played Miss Agatha Hanigan in Annie on Broadway back when Mitch was 7, and Angie, Christopher, and Brooks met her back when she was 4 for the Tony's and have been cheering on each other since.
"Let me just say, I have known Michelle far before she was a household name. In fact, I met her when she was 4 and shared the stage with her when she was 7."
Michelle smirked at Beth and shook her head.
"That is just a testament of how old you are Beth, you know that right?"
Mitch laughed when she was flipped off before she faced the rest of the ensemble.
"Good morning everyone, I am Michelle Press, your producer, choreographer and director of this amazing musical and I look forward to working with all of you. Now if you looked at your email, we have sent you the rehearsal calendar, script, and vocal scores, and Bob here is about to pass around the health sheets where you would tell us if you are in specific diets for catering at stuff for the next few weeks."
She watched the paper being handed around with their names on it, making her nod in satisfactory.
"I also feel like I have to tell you guys that I am working on another musical as well so I am going to have to divide my time between 2 rehearsals, but I'm more hands-on with this since I have other people helping me for the other side. So don't be surprised if there are going to be days where the other company would come and sit in or vice versa."
They all looked at each other excitingly, ready to work on this together.
"We also sent you the recording for the songs so I hope you studied your parts. So we'll go around the room, introduce ourselves to each other, then we could begin the read-through, then maybe blocking."

They were on a 2-hour lunch break, so almost half of the ensemble were out for lunch but a lot of people also stayed and decided to have lunch together.
Michelle and the twins were on the floor eating their lunch, when Quinn, Santana, Brittany, Tina, and Mercedes entered the room with huge grins on their faces, happy to see the three happily munching on their salads while goofing around.
They sat beside the three, brought out their lunch, and started eating with them as well. Quinn saw the script and vocal scores, and grin when she saw the familiar song.
"I remember this."
Michelle took a peek from over her shoulder and chuckled, nodding her head. Dance with You was their song when they were in 12th grade for their Senior Prom.
"Come on, let's sing it."
Mitch groaned and started scooting away, making everyone in the room laugh since she just wanted to eat her lunch in peace. Isabelle McCalla, the person who plays Alyssa Greene in the Musical, brought her phone out and started recording.
Quinn went over to the band, who just arrived from lunch, and talked to them. Michelle thought Quinn decided to stop bothering her but then the music started playing making her groan again.
Quinn:
I don't want to start a riot
I don't want to blaze a trail
I don't want to be a symbol
Or cautionary tale
Quinn started walking over to Michelle, making Mitch look up at her through her long lashes, trying to hide the huge smile on her face
Quinn:
I don't want to be a scapegoat
For people to oppose
What I want is simple
As far as wanting goes
Quinn held out her hand, so Mitch put her food down and gripped it, allowing the older woman to pull her up. She covered her mouth as she continued chewing, but she started swaying with Quinn as everyone cheered on them.
Quinn:
I just wanna dance with you
Let the whole world melt away
And dance with you
Who cares what other people say?
And when we're through
No one can convince us we were wrong
All it takes is you and me
And a song
Michelle smiled at Quinn as she cleared her throat, holding her hands as she sang to her like they were 17 again.
Michelle:I don't need a big productionStreamers hanging in the airI don't need to spend the nightWith confetti in my hairI don't need a room of peopleThat I don't really know
Quinn:I just want to hold you
Both:And never let you go!I just wanna dance with youLet the whole world melt awayAnd dance with youWho cares what other people say?And when we're through
They both started harmonizing as people started filling the room since they only had 15 minutes before lunch break ends. Everyone looked at the two in awe as they seem to be in their own world.
Quinn:No one can convince us we were wrong
Both:All it takes is you and meAnd a song
Michelle:Two people swaying slowlyNothing more and nothing lessWhy anybody fears thatIs anybody's guess
Both:I just wanna dance with youLet the whole world melt awayAnd dance with youWho cares what other people say?And when we're throughNo one can convince us we were wrongAll it takes is you and meAnd a song
Everybody clapped and cheered as they finished the song, Quinn and Mitch playfully bowed before they went back and finished their food before they had to go back to one last round of read-through before they start with blocking.

Isabella sat on their couch in the apartment she shared with Paige, just staring at nothing, her mind going a hundred miles per hour. She bit her lip nervously as she started fidgeting with her fingers.
The door opening caught her attention, making her lookup. She made eye contact with Paige, and the taller girl gave her a soft smile, knowing what the look on her face meant.
"You okay Isabella?"
Izzy sighed and shook her head. She patted the spot beside her and Paige took that as a sign to go and sit beside her.
They both sat in silence for a while, until Isabella broke the silence by sniffling.
"We need to talk."
