Oh what the heck, this one's itching me to do one. XD
Okay: What is the meaning of "undiscovered"? Well, let's see:
1) To see, get knowledge of, learn of, find, or find out; gain sight or knowledge of (something previously unseen or unknown).
2) To notice and/or realize.
So, um....then tell me why Wattpad's undiscovered category of books have over a million reads? It looks like DevianArt's got this down seeing as there's a whole section of new users who join the website an freaking hour ago!!!
The Undiscovered category SHOULD be a place where new books are getting started or need more attention. What it SHOULDN'T be, is a place for books that are already popular to fill it up to the point where other meaningful writers can't get noticed.
And who knows? Maybe the story that's not getting attention is the one with the better storyline and characters than the one that's popular. And honestly, it's not just concerning fanfics, it's also every story in general.
The world of writing and Wattpad may be a competitive place, but every book deserves attention, even if it may not be that good. *cough cough* My Immortal *cough cough*
Just kidding. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Speaking of My Immortal, I'll create a rant about that in a week or two. *shudders* God it's still in my mind.....WAHH
