On the day of execution:-
Near the execution platform:-
Vinod was taken to the execution platform, near the scaffold, from the central jail, Surrounded by the tight security of police officers. All the rituals for the execution had already been done. After taking bath and wearing new clothes, Vinod came out of the jail. Every police officer was present there except
D. C. P. He was struck into a traffic jam in the signal. So, all the officers, constables, stop watch holder, magistrate, civil surgeon and other doctors, executioner everyone was waiting for D. C. P. at the gate of the room of scaffold. Suddenly, Vinod noticed everyone's casualness for some time and he took that chance Only. He snatched a revolver from one of the I. P. S. Officers and immediately killed two constables.
Vinod:- Alert! If anyone try to come behind me, he has to end up his life here only! Hands up! Everyone!
The officers couldn't do anything except watching the drama. Vinod rushed from there and started his journey to Saubhaagyashree's house. Approximately 10 - 15 police jeaps, several RVs (a recreational vehicle), some police vans started following Vinod, through out the journey.
In the House of Gupta family:-
In the morning:-
Everyone in the family was upset due to the incident happened in the school. The ever bubbly and happy family had become silent, especially Saubhaagyashree. Her mind was filled with the worst memories of her life. Her beautifully glowing face had lost that previous charm and sparkle.
All the members of the family, sat down in the dining table to have their breakfast. The silence remained intact. Prapti broke the silence.
Prapti:- Sona, I think, you should forget about the incident, assuming them as the night mares.
Prakash:- Exactly, Sona! Please forget about all the worst and remorseful things of memories. We can't live in the past. We can't change, what already happened in the past. Side by side, we also can't waste our time thinking about the future danger. We can't change them also! Right? So, it's better to focus on the present. It's the best thing to enjoy the present, to enjoy the togetherness.
Katyayani:- Really papa! After coming from school, Sona is thinking about those incidents only. She thinks that, she is responsible for all these things. I tried to make her understand that she is not responsible for all these. These are just like cruel Fate. We can't escape from the fate; because the way we take to avoid the fate, fate meets with us on that way only, becoming more tremendous. But she is not listening anything, you just make her understand, papa!
Prakash:- Katyayani! I am trying my best, but just look at my princess! Her ever smiling face has become sad! Her dazzling beauty has lost the vivacity because of these problematic events.
Prapti:- But Prakash, katyayani! How can someone forget this type of incident so easily? This is a murder!
Krishnendu:- Yes grandma! And that too Sona's school teacher! Their Head mistress loved her very much and her death in front of her eyes! How can she accept this so easily?
Kailash:- Krish! I can understand. But, we can't sit with the past. Of course, past is needed for our betterment of present and future to rectify our mistakes, so that, we would never repeat the previous mistakes, but not more than that!
Raghvendra:- But papa! Death is always dangerous! When a person dies a Natural death, due the growing age or any disease, they gradually loose their desire to live farther, in one word; they loose the willingness to live! But in case of murder, things are absolutely different! The person who is murdered, he or she doesn't want to die, but still, they are facing the death. This unwillingness makes a murder more and more terrifying!
Prapti:- Raghav! You are absolutely right, dear.But Sona is thinking about all these, as if she herself is responsible for the murder! This will hamper her day-to-day life.
Everyone was busy with the conversation but Saubhaagyashree was silently sitting on the chair. Neither she is eating the food, nor talking to anyone. Suddenly her words made everyone frightened!
Saubhaagyashree (horrifiedly) :- Maa, papa! Someone is wresting my legs!
Kailash and katyayani (shockingly) :- What are you saying, Sona?
Saubhaagyashree:- Ye...Ye...Yes! Maa! I am telling the truth.
Katyayani:- Sona, just get up from there and come with me.
Saubhaagyashree tried to get up but the hands started wrenching her legs. She looked down and by watching the person, her eye lids stopped blinking due to extreme fear!
Saubhaagyashree (Petrifingly) :- Maa... Maa... Vi...Vi...Vinod!
Kailash immediately moved the dining table and found that Vinod was sitting under the table. Meanwhile, the calling bell of the house, started ringing. Katyayani went there and opened the door. All the police officers and constables entered into the house.
Kailash:- You! Vinod Chopra! Again!
Vinod:- I can't live without my Saubhaagyashree. That's why, I have come here. Father-in-law!
Kailash (Irritatedly) :- How dare you!
I. P. S. Officer Mr. Agnihotri:- Mr. Gupta!
Kailash:- Officer! You all! Here? And what about his execution?
I. P. S. Officer Mr. Agnihotri:- I shall tell you everything, but before that, let us arrest this demon!
All the officers and constables arrested Vinod and took him in the police van. They covered his face with a black cloth and tied his hands forcibly.
I. P. S. Officer Mr. Agnihotri:- Mr. Gupta! We are really very sorry for this unwanted problem!
Kailash:- I can't understand, what is exactly going on! How did he escape from police custody?
Officer Agnihotri explained everything to Kailash and also informed him about their casualness for a fraction of time.
Kailash:- My God! How dangerous he is! Now what, officer? Will he receive the death sentence again?
I. P. S. Officer Mr. Agnihotri:- No, Mr. Gupta! If any problem occurs in executing the death sentence of a criminal, then, it is supposed that the God doesn't want his or her death. So, in future, they will never get death sentence for sure!
Kailash (Mockingly) :- Then, are you thinking to make him my son-in-law? Or to release him in the society like a common man?
I. P. S. Officer Mr. Agnihotri:- Of course not, Mr. Gupta! He will get twelve years of imprisonment for sure because of the murder of two police constables. We shall try our best to extend it upto his life time.
Kailash:- Thank God! At least one hope in the darkness! Thank you, officer.
I. P. S. Officer Mr. Agnihotri:- Thank you, Mr. Gupta, for your kind Cooperation.
The police vans, RVs, jips left from their house. At last, all of them got relief from Vinod. Saubhaagyashree was looking much more relaxed. After that, all the family members sat down in the dining table to have some family time with the affectionate care of Inseparableness.
