After receiving my mother's text, I went to Aunt Carol's house to tell her about what happened last night.
I knocked at her front door a couple times and wait. She finally opened it.
"Y/n???? Is everything okay?? Come on in!" She looks worried.
I chuckled.
"Everything is fine Auntie. I just dropped by to say hello before going to Helena's and I really miss you." I grinned. "I hope I'm not bothering you."
"No.. you'll never bother us" she smiled.
We walked to the kitchen and I saw Jason and Uncle Jack having breakfast.
"Jason??? It's really nice to see you here!" I sat on the table next to him, "hi uncle Jack".
"It's really nice to see you alive" Jason said jokingly.
"Don't be salty" I hit his arm playfully.
"Where's your parents?" Uncle Jack asked.
"They just left" I said.
"Oh.. I thought they'll stay a little longer." Aunt Carol said while pouring me some tea.
"Yeah.. well.. something happened" I said.
"Oh.. what happened?" She asked.
I sighed.
"I had a fight with my dad.. again" I said plainly.
"About you and Helena?" I just nodded.
"I thought he's already accepted you and Helena" Jason said.
"That's what I thought too. But it turns out he's just pretending it" I told them.
"What's his reason?" Uncle Jack asked.
"Just to make me come back to the family. I'm guessing that my mom beg him to be nicer so I can forgive him and forget the past then become a family again" I explained.
"Oh wow that's messed up" Jason exclaimed.
"it is what it is" I shrugged and laughed.
"Wait.. how do you know that he's faking everything?" Aunt Carol asked.
"Helena told me. Then I confronted him. He admitted it" I sip on my tea while remembering all the words my father said.
"Well.. at least you know the truth now." Aunt Carol said, "It's not really surprising though. I've already feel something is off since the night he wanted to talk with Helena in private." She continued.
"Yeah.. that explained why Helena being so quiet after that talk." I sighed.
"That's enough of drama. Don't let him ruin your relationship and your life. We should move on. Don't give that man anymore attention. Focus on yourself!" Jason said.
"You were right"
"I always right" he interrupts me. I rolled my eyes and laughed.
"Let's talk about something else." Aunt Carol said, "so.. you going to Helena after this?" She asked.
"Yep.. that's where I belongs to" I grinned, "besides I need to go back to work."
We continue talking for another hour until I decide to leave and go to Helena's home. The walk took a little bit longer than usual because I walk so slowly just to enjoy the weather and watching everyone doing their own thing.
I finally arrived and standing in front of her door. I knocked and she opened it almost immediately.
"Baby! You come back!" She smiled widely and hugged me.
"Of course Helena. No matter what happened and how far I go, I will always comes back to you." I hugged her back.
We went inside. I smell something delicious and sweet from the kitchen.
"Wow it smells good. What are you making?" I asked and sit on the table.
"Pie. It'll be ready in a few minutes." She said happily.
"Yeayy Pie.. I lovett !!!"
"you what?" She asked.
"I lovett" she raised her eyebrows in confusion, "nevermind. It's a pun. Helenaist use that a lot" I laughed.
"Helenaist?" She's more confused now.
"Your fans Helena!!"
"Oh. But that sounds like a cult name" she said.
"Well if that's a cult name, I'll be the first one to join in." I laughed. "And you will be our supreme. Our queen. WE BELIEVE IN HELENA BONHAM CARTER SUPREMACY!" I shout the last sentence.
Helena just shook her head and chuckled watching me fangirling over her.
A few minutes later the pie is ready. She took it out from the oven and place it on the counter. It smells really good, my mouth starts watering and my stomach rumbling.
"Someone is hungry" she tease.
"Me hungry ma'am! Gimme food!" I stand up and get closer to the pie.
"It's still hot love. You'll burn your tongue" she said.
"You hot. But I can handle you. My tongue still fine" I try to reach the pie but Helena slapped my hands.
"That's different!" She blushed, "Now sit down, let it cool for a little bit, I'll make us some tea." She pushed me away from the counter and I pout.
We spent the rest of the day just cuddling and watching tv. Until it's time for Helena to pick up her kids. She insist that I should go with her. She doesn't want me to be home alone anymore.
After picking the kids up from school, we went straight back home. The kids looks really happy when they see me. They keep hugging me non stop especially Nell. I love them so much.
Helena and I went to bed early tonight, as usual we have a little talk or discussion before bed. We talked about what is she doing while I'm in hospital and stuff like that.
I lay on top of her in bed. Even though she's smaller than me, only slightly. I rest my head on her chest and I hug her body like koala.
"Love.." she calls.
"Mhmm" I hummed in response.
"How's your parents?" She asked carefully.
I sighed, "do we have to talk about them?" I look up at her.
"It's okay if you don't want to. I'm sorry. I'm just worried" she stroked my head softly.
"They already left." I told her and looked away.
She didn't say anything for a while. I look at her again.
"What's on your mind?" I asked.
"Nothing" she smiled weakly.
"Don't you dare lie to me love" I caress her cheek.
"I just.. I don't want to ruin your relationship with your family." She said.
"You're not ruining my relationship with my family Hellie. My father did. Me and my mother and my brother always in a good term." I smiled.
She sighs.
"That's good to hear that your mom and your brother still got your back." She said, "do you hate your dad?".
"I do. So much. He ruined my happy life, he insulted my girlfriend, and he's so fucking abusive, verbally. I don't understand why my mom still with him."
"Your mom wants her family back together, still. She can't lose you or him. She loves the both of you. That's why." She said.
"Yeah.. I think you're right" I paused.
The memories of my father starting to fill my mind. He used to be my bestfriend. My man. He always supports me. He is the one that really got excited when I got a job here. Deep down I still hope he can change. I miss the old him.
"Let's go to sleep" Helena said, bringing me back from my thoughts.
"Okay." I kiss her and we snuggled up under the blanket until we fell asleep.
Ohh how I really miss sleeping next to her.. she is the best cuddle buddies. She makes me feel safe. It's good to be back home..
