"You can go home and pick me up in an hour. I need to take care of a few things before I leave with you tonight," Xia leaned inside of the driver's window. She wanted to make sure things were good even though she's only missing one night.
"You sure? Just call me when you are ready. I am going to grab some things from my place," Chan said. His intense gaze made her feel things. Things have been hot and heavy since she brought him last night. It feels good to enjoy him and have some fun.
One thing did bother her, and she wasn't sure how Chan felt about it. But, the thought of Jaebeom and him working together is a bit unsettling. She's convinced that Jinyoung doesn't know about her situation, but at the same time, who knows what he's aware of.
"Yes, I shouldn't be too long. I'll see you soon," she leaned in and kissed him on the lips. A wave of heat went through her body when their lips connected. Is it the newness of being with another man that has her so turned, or does she actually have feelings for him?
"Sounds good," he said.
Xia pulled out her keys and walked to the front entrance of the club. She heard music playing throughout the club, and Jaebeom must be already here.
She placed her keys inside of her purse and didn't see him at the bar. She walked throughout the club, and went into her office.
She felt warm hands around, scoop around her waist and pick her up from behind. "Xi baby.. I missed you," Jaebeom said, and it caused Xi to laugh out loud. She didn't expect her to surprise her like that. He threw her over his shoulder and opened her office door.
"Jaeeee! Put me down," she squealed. She loved to see this playful side of him, and could tell that he's so really excited about his new record deal. It's still so crazy how all of this happened. She didn't hear about anyone else from the club getting signed.
"Alright, babe," Jaebeom placed her on her desk, and stood in between her legs. "Let's celebrate! I owe all of this to you. So, do you want me to bless you with my tongue?" Jaebeom reached for her pants. His eagerness did make her feel things. Her body felt a pull towards him, but part of her hesitated.
She looked down at his hands on her pants and grabbed them. "Jae, not this time. I am about to leave in a few. I just came to look over a few things and leave a few things for Junie," Xia said.
Jaebeom looked confused, and then he nodded. "You are leaving to go with... him?" He asked her the obvious question. Where else would she be going? She doesn't have a car.
"Yes," she said, slowly. They were both adults in this situation. Her feelings for Chan didn't take away what she felt for Jaebeom. The feelings are different.
"But, that doesn't mean we won't have our time," Xia placed her hands on the side of his face, and looked into his eyes.
"I am not mad. I just have to get used to it. Especially, since I will be working with him, it's crazy how the cards unfold," Jaebeom said. It's a relief that he already knows what Jinyoung planned, and she didn't want to be the one to tell him.
"Yeah, but I know that you will do amazing. I am not worried," Xia said.
Jaebeom kissed her forehead. "Xi, I hope you know what you are doing. I just asked that you make time for me as well," Jaebeom said.
"Of course.. shall we plan a date? It's been a while since we have gone on one?"
"Let me surprise you on Monday since the club will be closed. We can actually enjoy it. Then, I can also tell you about my sessions this weekend. Which reminds me, I need to take off this weekend, because of my sessions at Ahgase Ent.," he said.
"That's not a problem. Bam Bam's drinks aren't as good as yours, but I am sure he won't mind filling in for you. Shit, I am going to have to find a new bartender. I need to get Junie on that," She reached over and grabbed a sticky note.
She wrote it down, so she would remember to talk to Junie about it.
"Yeah, we need to talk about that. I am going to get my schedule update soon, and I think I am going to have to leave the club," Jaebeom said.
"I know. This is your time to shine. Don't worry about the club. We will be fine, just don't forget me when you blow up," Xia smiled.
Words can't describe her happiness for Jaebeom because he seems to be different already. He needs this opportunity so badly, and she wants to make sure he keeps going.
"Oh, shit. I forgot to tell you. Jackson is throwing a party after the club closes tomorrow to celebrate for me. Will you be there?" Jaebeom asked.
"Absolutely, sounds like fun."
"Yeah, it's going to be a lot of people who are already signed at Ahgase so that I can meet everyone. I already invited people from the club. We can get a car together," Jaebeom said.
"Perfect. I am happy for you. You honestly deserve all these good things happening to you," she said.
"I wouldn't have done it without you. I don't care how much money or fame I receive. You are still the most important person in my life," Jaebeom said.
"Awww, that's sweet. You mean a lot to me too. Let me work so I can make sure things are ready for tonight," Xia moved from between Jae's legs and sat down at her desk.
"Fine, I will get out of your hair. Are you okay? You seem a bit distant?" Jaebeom asked.
"Umm.. I tried to talk to Chris about what you and I discussed about being poly. But, he didn't seem too interested. It got hella awkward, and I don't want to choose," Xia said.
"Do you want me to talk to him?" Jaebeom asked.
"Uh," Xia's jaw dropped. That didn't seem like a good idea. "No, not yet. Let me spend more time with him and then see what happens."
"Well, I am going to be spending a lot of time with him soon. So, if it comes up, I am not shying away from the topic," Jaebeom said.
"Alright," she sighed.
"I'll see you tomorrow," Jaebeom said.
She pulled her phone out of her purse and sent a text message to the staff to update them that she would be out. She also informed them that Bam would need to cover Jaebeom's shifts this weekend.
Bam Bam: Umm... I understand you are fucking two artists now.. but you need to hire some new people. We still have a club to run!
Xia: I just found out Jae got signed today.. this is a lot on me too.
Bam Bam: So where are you going to be tonight?
Xia: None of your business...
Bam Bam: So shady.. 🙃 Jinyoung posted your brother husbands today, and the fan girls are going crazy! You should see all the Oppa tweets, and I even saw a few fanfics were started! It would be best if you were careful how you are moving in public. You might want to keep things on the low for right now. Until you decide which one you are going to really be with you..
Xia: It's crazy how you have all this advice for me, but you never take your own advice 😒
Bam Bam: I am hoe, Xia. You know me.. but seriously, just try to be discreet. It's going to be a lot of eyes on both of them now. So, just be prepared for that.
Xia: It's so much to take in.. a part of me is lowkey worried they would both leave me for someone else. I don't know why I have these thoughts..
Bam Bam: Don't worry about the future.. just have fun right now..
Xia: You are right..
Xia returned to writing her to-do list for Junie and sent it in an email. She checked the food and alcohol order to make sure everything is good for tonight.
Things were about to change for her drastically, and hopefully, they won't change like they said. But, who to say what will happen in the next year.
All she could right now is just enjoy the moment like Bam Bam advised her to.
