(Y/N)'s POV:
As I'm running back to the cabin, I notice how the fire is spreading fast and almost like it was creating a barrier around the forest. Those blue flames were pretty to look at, but they were definitely not natural.
Someone was here and causing trouble. The gas that was also spreading could not come from one person, so at least two intruders were around.
Before I reach the cabin, as I'm looking around, I catch a glimpse of a person standing there: black hair and some kind of marks on his face. I've never seen him before and from the blue flames coming from his hands, he has to be the one responsible for this.
But I can't stop here and confront him. I need to inform Aizawa-Sensei first. Izuku went to get Kota; I can't abandon my part of the plan now. I push myself harder to get there faster.
"Found you." I hear the man say as he watches me run and with a smirk on his lips.
How did he see me in time? More importantly, how does he know me? Did he come here for me? Is his partner also looking for me? My brain went into overdrive with all the questions and theories of what all this could mean.
I trip over my own feet and roll on the ground a couple of times before I come to a stop. "(Y/N)?" I hear Aizawa-Sensei say, and I look up at him.
I stand and dust myself, "Sensei! T-There is fire around the forest, and there is a t-type of gas being spread. I-I think we have intruders, and not the good kind. I don't know if it's right, but they m-might be-" I start to explain the situation to him while trying to catch my breath and wrap my head around everything.
He puts his hands on my shoulders and bends to my height. "Breath (Y/N), take it slow." he says. He waits for me to catch my breath enough to be able to make sense.
"Are you worried, Eraser?" a rough voice says, and before I could even turn to look, I was carried by Aizawa-Sensei, and he jumped out of the way of the blue flames.
Eraser Head directly wraps the guy and knees him in the face, slamming him to the ground and pinning him. "Who are you, and why are you here?" he asks.
The villain just laughs. "Are you sure you should be wasting your time here?"
Just then, Tenya and some of the others come running towards us. The villain gets up, and when Eraser Head tries to tighten his hold on him, he starts to turn into mud. "He's not the original..."
"Tell me, Eraser. Are your students important to you?" he asks, with this evil look in his eyes. "I wonder if you will be able to save all of them in time." he laughs and falls to the ground into a pool of mud.
"Aizawa-Sensei, what is going on? What do we do?" Tenya asks, but our teacher didn't have any more time to waste. It was evident that he was worried about what the villain told him about his students.
A group of us was here, but a larger group was still out there in the forest and with Class 1B. "All of you stay here! I'll be back." he yells back and runs towards the forest.
As if I'm going to stay here while I have a huge hunch that all this is happening because of me. My arm was grabbed when I try to run after the Pro-Hero. "(Y/N); he told us to stay here. We will only cause more trouble for them if we get in their way." Tenya tries to calm me.
"I'm sorry, Tenya. But I need to follow Aizawa-Sensei; I have information he needs to know. Don't worry, I promise not to get in trouble." I get my hand free and run into the forest.
"You can't control that factor (Y/N)!" I hear him yell out to me, but I wasn't going to stop.
I run after Aizawa-Sensei, or at least try to see where exactly he went. After a while, I finally find him standing talking to someone. When I get there, I couldn't help but gasp out loud and cover my mouth at the sight of Izuku.
"IZUKU! What the fuck did you do!?" I yell at him and run to see his injuries from up close.
"(Y/N), I told everyone to stay back at the cabin. Why did you follow me?" I get scolded.
"Aizawa-Sensei, take Kota; he is safe now. I need to find Mandalay and tell her something very important. I know why the villains are here." I feel my heart drop at that. Does Izuku know if I'm involved in all this? Are they after me?
Aizawa-Sensei and Izuku talk about his injuries and what happened in Hosu. I make sure Kota is okay, he is a bit shaken up, but he will calm down when he's safe in the cabin. I see Izuku run deeper into the forest, and I run after him.
"(Y/N)! Get back here!" I hear Aizawa-Sensei call out to me, but Izuku looked very concerned and serious about the villains' purpose. I needed to stay with him and find out why.
"Izuku, tell me. Please tell me what the villains are doing here?" I try to ask while we run, but he wasn't answering me. I run faster to see his face; he didn't seem to realize I was even behind him.
I guess I'll have to find out when he tells Mandalay. When we get back to our training area, we see Tiger and Mandalay fighting two other villains. Izuku rushes and breaks the sword of the villain that was attacking Mandalay.
"Kota is safe! I also have a message from Aizawa-Sensei. Please tell everyone. All the students from Class A and Class B have the permission to fight under the name of Aizawa-Sensei!" he tells her.
And just like that, she shares the message with everyone. I hear her voice in my head, but my heart was beating so fast at the things that are happening. Pixie-Bob was passed out with a head injury; she needs urgent medical care.
"Go back to the camp, kid. These are serious injuries." Mandalay screams to Izuku.
"I can't. Please share this message as well. I know at least one of their targets. The villains are after," he looks to me with an apologetic look... "They're after Kacchan." now, my heart definitely dropped at that.
And it wasn't only my heart. I fell to my knees, suddenly not able to hear anything around me. I see a green light flash before me, recognizing it as Izuku running into the forest again.
I wanted to run after him, to help him. Something in me was sure he was going after Bakugo to get him to safety and away from these assholes! Why are the villains after Bakugo? What do they want from him?
Shigaraki said he's coming for me... Aren't these freaks with him? I was so confused and scared at the same time. My legs wouldn't move even though my brain is telling them to.
"Hey, kid! You're fast, right?" Tiger comes up to me and checks on me. "Please use that quirk of yours and get Pixie-Bob out of here. She needs medical help." he tells me.
"I can't... I need to find Bakugo. I need to get him away from here." I mumble out to him as I get up with my shaky legs.
"You don't know where he is in this forest. While you have an injured person right here, what kind of hero doesn't save someone who needs help?" he scolds.
"I DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT! I JUST NEED TO FIND BAKUGO! HE IS THE ONE WHO NEEDS HELP!" I yell at him while grabbing him to get my point across.
He puts his hands on my shoulders and stops my movement. "I understand you want to help your friend. I know you must be scared and worried. But we could really use your help; Pixie-Bob really needs your help. Just get her to the cabin and use your speed again to search for your friend." he calmly tells me.
I take a few breaths to calm myself and slap both my palms on my face, leaving it red. "Sorry... I lost it there for a second. I will help Pixie-Bob, and then I'll find those fuckers and kill every last one of them." I growl, and I go pick up the fallen Hero onto my back.
"That's the spirit! Just minus the killing, heroes do not kill." he informs me.
"I guess we will just have to say they were in an accident." My voice was dripping with venom. I activate my quirk and head back to the cabin. The sooner I get her there, the sooner I can look for Bakugo.
Once I get there, Vlad was standing outside, trying to get some students back inside. "Vlad, Pixie-Bob is injured. Tiger told me to get her here; she needs immediate medical care." I inform him.
"Thank you for that. Now, get back inside. It's dangerous outside." he tells me, but I turn back towards the forest.
"(Y/N)?" I turn around at the familiar voice. "Where are you going? Where's... Where's Bakugo?" he reluctantly asks.
"I don't know, but I'm going to find him." I tell him without turning to look at him. I know that if I look at his eyes, which are for sure filled with all sorts of emotions right now, I will lose the strength I built up and just collapse in his arms.
"He's tough, remember that (Y/N). He will be fine. I think you should stay here; the teachers want us to regroup here." he tries to get closer to me. I could tell from his voice that he already tried to go after his best friend and was shut down.
"Kirishima, don't." I stop him. "Please don't, I need to find him. Every single one of these villains is out there looking for him. No matter how tough he is, he won't be able to handle all of them alone." I feel my voice crack at the end.
"He's not alone. Todoroki is with him, at least. You're not alone here either; you can count on your friends. They will help you just like they will help him right now." he says in a softer voice.
"Thank you, Kirishima. But I just need to make sure he's okay; I can't get him caught up in my shit." I slip up.
"What do you mean your.-"
"I'm sorry. I can't waste time." I interrupt him and run into the forest again.
I might have it all wrong, and they could not be related to Shigaraki or me, but I can't help the feeling inside. It's too big of a coincidence... If it has nothing to do with me, it will be great. Not great that they are targeting him, but great that it has nothing to do with those people.
To me, no one, not a single person, can be worse than those people. That group is my nightmare. I wish I can erase them from my head, but every time I try, they show up again, or something reminds me of them, and I'm back to square one.
I run through the forest with my quirk activated, trying to track down anyone from class who can hopefully tell me where Bakugo is. I feel like I've been running for hours, and I can feel my speed slowing down. I'm reaching my limit... I can't lose my speed now!
Suddenly I hear a ruckus near me, and I run in that direction—my last chance on finding him before I run out of juice. When I get to the scene, I see Izuku, Todoroki, and Shoji fighting the villains. I don't see Bakugo...
That's when the guy with the black hair and the patches of purple skin says something to some magician, and the next thing I know, Bakugo was in his hands.
I recognize that purple wrap anywhere; it's them. "KUROGIRI!! STOP!" I scream from the top of my lungs and run towards him, but my speed decided to give up now, and I fall flat on my face. I look up, my heart in my mouth at the sight of Bakugo in that guy's hands.
"KACCHAN!" Izuku yells, running past me, trying to reach his childhood friend.
"Don't come, Deku." we hear Bakugo let out. And then he shifts his gaze to me, and I get whatever is left of my energy to try and get to him. I clumsily get up, only for my feet to give up on me again. "Don't." he says before he finally disappears.
Bakugo was gone... Bakugo was taken... They succeeded in taking him... I couldn't help at all, not even in the slightest. I was useless.
