She walked through the hallways of Hogwarts with excitement. She's just gotten a good grade on her exam and she was on her way to tell her best friend, Draco Malfoy.

Each step taking its time making subtle noises while she tried to walk as fast as possible, she couldn't have asked for a better grade. She was excited.

She carefully stepped into the common room with the bright smile and perfect aura she had, but was soon diminished to find it empty. It looked darker than usual, more devastating in a way.

She walked through the room trying to find someone, but when she had no such luck, she found herself walking to his room. She carefully made it up the deep steps until she was standing outside Draco's door.

It was slightly opened, almost as if it was intended to be. She was about to push it open, but she hesitated to the noise inside. She heard weird sound. Where does moans? Her head started spinning and she started getting dizzy.

She felt weird. She felt like the world crashed? Whatever was inside, she was soon to find out.. She's pushed the oak door open to be met with not only one pair of blond hair, but two.

She was kissing him passionately while she ran her fingers through his hair. Her soft golden curls lighting up in the sunshine while Draco was more than enjoying their passionate moment.

"Draco..?" she whispered with a trembling but soft voice. He suddenly looked up at her and Elaine was surprise at his expression. It was remorse nor pity like shell though, he had a smirk plastered on his face.

He didn't care about her. He hated her. He was enjoying this moment. Her heart shattered into a million pieces of glass and she felt the atmosphere growing tense and dark.

Suddenly, everything around her was indulged and she was no longer in Draco's room. Instead, she found herself in a dark cellar with chains around her wrist.

She was locked up, with tears still streaming down her face and her hair all over the place. She looked around and saw nothing but darkness. She was growing weaker and denser. She screamed for help and she broke down.

Then, a shadow appeared. It was a figure of a tall man she couldn't make out of yet, he was heading her way and she couldn't help but be terrified.

It wasn't until he stepped into the darkness until she recognized his face. Father. "Voldemort..?" Elaine whispered. She just wanted this nightmare to end forever.

"Now we both know i'm not just Voldemort to you. Address me as i am" He spoke with a silent but demanding voice.

"I shall not. You are not worthy of that title" Elaine said in a scared but also demanding voice.

"Listen to me girl!" He spoke in a harsher meanies voice.

It took everything in Elaine, but she said it. "I'm sorry father"

"Now now, surely you didn't give up that easily right? Your are my daughter you know? i'll expect you to be more like me. Look at you..so weak"

"Sorry to disappoint, but i'm nothing like you." Elaine spoke.

"Well of course you are. It's just very deep inside you. You know it, I know it. I know you"

"You know nothing of me!" Elaine screamed with fury. She couldn't contain her anger much longer.

"That's better! deny it or not. You are just like me, and some day, that part of you that's very deeply buried inside you, will come out. And i'll be here waiting for you"

Everything turned black again and with a blink of an eye, he disappeared.

Elaine woke up in a pool of her own sweat and her hair messed up, she woke up with harsh breath coursing through her and tears streaming down her face.

Once she realized the god awful nightmare she had, she tried to calm herself down. "It's not real. It's not real. It's not real" she kept trying to remind herself, but no matter how hard she tried, the horrifying image of her father and Draco kissing Aurora was engraved in her mind.

She couldn't help but feel restless. She couldn't sleep. How could she? She leaned against the wall and breathed in and out softly. She would hope it would all be over soon.

Before she even realized it, the dark night turned into a cloudy morning. It was early in the morning. She felt so drained and tired, she wanted to stay in bed, but with all the stress of classes and the awful women Umbridge, she couldn't afford to skip class.

She steadied herself, before balancing on the ice cold floor and making her way towards her drawer. She had showered last night, so at-least she was free of  shower thoughts.

She picked up her cold uniform and stretched it along her body, warming it up to the feel of it. She barely brushed through her hair before she put the brush down. Her tie was a bit messy, but she frankly couldn't care less. She had an awful night and what people thought was the least of her worries.

She brushed her teeth quickly and washed her face to wake herself up. She didn't bother putting makeup on today, she was too exhausted for that. She instead, she let her dark circles from last night through and her tired face shine through.

She checked the time, and made her way to the common room, where Draco would usually be waiting for her. She wasn't sure how she felt about Draco at the moment. Frankly she couldn't be mad at him for a dream, but she also found herself needing time to recover from it. She hoped Draco would understand.

She was surprised but hurt to find Draco in the common room already. But not  alone. He was sitting on the black couch, having the time of his life with a smile plastered on his face while Aurora was closely sitting next to him telling him the funniest joke in the world apparently.

Elaine felt mostly hurt, not jealousy, hurt. She wanted deeply to hide it. That's all she wished for. Her dream would become real. She quietly left the common room without Draco and Aurora noticing. They were to consumed with each other to notice.

Elaine hurriedly made her way to the Great Hall when she spotted all the tables nearly full, and she made the decision to sit at the Gryffindor table. Not with the trio, it was still too painful for that.

She made her way towards two red-headed twins. She next to George and immediately started grabbing food. "Well aren't you hungry?" George said in a joking matter. "You look awful" Fred followed after which made George say "Fred!".

"Sorry sorry" Fred said biting his toast. "It's alright i do look awful" Elaine replied drinking her pumpkin juice. "But why tho is the question" George said with a curious face.

"Don't worry about it" Elaine replied in a sarcastic matter. All Elaine could wish for now is that she'll forget about it in a few days. Christmas was in about a week, and Mcgonagall was taking names for who was staying and she hasn't made her mind up.

Just as if Fred read her mind, he said "So Elaine, are you planning on staying with us this year for the holidays? Mum already agreed to it".

"Would you guys really take me in again? although it might be a bit awkward with Ron." She replied with great full ness.

"If of course we will. We love you. You know that right?" Fred said, but before Elaine could reply George spoke. "Besides, it might help you get closer to the Trio again and especially Ron".

"Yeah i guess. I'll have to talk with Severus this evening about it. I'm sure he'll say yes with everything happening around you know who" Elaine spoke.

"Have you guys heard the secret club that's been happening? Draco has been trying to figure it out for months and trying for me to help him, although i wouldn't because whoever they are, i'm on their side. Draco is too i think, on the inside he's against Umbridge. His ego is just too big to admit it"

Elaine spoke confident. She could feel her sadness being overpowers by the twins positive energy.

They both looked at each other and just shrugged in responds to her.

"Who's ego is to big?" She heard the familiar voice behind her. She turned around to be met with the face of the one and only, Draco.

"Maybe i talk to you?" Draco spoke. Elaine quickly responded with "Cant you see im busy eating?" sounding more rudely than she intended. "Please" Draco spoked. She gave in and let him drag her to the Great Hall corridors.

"Why didn't you wait for me this morning?" He immediately asked.

"I was in a hurry" She responded without hesitation.

"Couldn't you have told me- whatever" He cut himself off and continuing his sentence.

"I was thinking, For christmas this year, my parents aren't doing the awful dance and they'll be going away to a trip. I was thinking to make my christmas less awful, i bring out a bottle of fire whiskey, and invite some friends. Like you, Blaise, Theo , Pansy for entertainment purposes, and Aurora. It's gonna be so fun-" He was interrupted by Elaines voice.

"Woah woah, Aurora? I mean come on you've known her for two days and your suddenly delighted to invite her to our small circle?" Elaine asked.

"Well yeah.. she seems badass and i talked to her a lot today and she's pretty cool" he said with a smile.

"Don't you think it's a bit much? Just because she doesn't have any friends doesn't mean she needs to be in our friend group" Elaine spoke.

"What is your problem? You're always the one telling me to be nicer and go out there. Now i do, your mad?" Draco said frustrated.

"You know what, it doesn't matter. Invite her. I won't be able to be there anyway, i'll be spending it with the Weasleys" Elaine explained.

"What? Why cant you do the same as last year?" he asked.

"It's different this year. I need time with myself and time away you know? I need to help myself" Elaine spoke truthfully.

"And by that you mean away from me right? Look if you don't like me.. just say it-" Draco spoke hurt.

"It's not you Draco. I just think i'll be good to be away for a while. To get in the right state of mind."

"Ok. But can you at-least try to swing by?" He asked.

"I'll try the best i can. No promises tho"
