Lee Hyunjin's POV
"Watch out!" I yelled but it was too late. Soojin crash to the pole making a very loud sound, the other people here at the park look at our direction and I saw how some of them held her laughter in. I burst into a pit of laughter before helping her to get up
"Damn girl you're so stupid" I'm still laughing and she punch my arm. It reminds me of someone who I don't really want to remember. I shook those thoughts away and look at the girl in front of me.
"I hate how you laugh before helping me" she huffs and I chuckled
"At least I helped you right? Imagine if it's Jiyoon and the other girls they will bully you to death and I don't think they will even help you to get up" she just scoffs and sat on the bench nearby. I pick up the bicycle and put it against the pole
"You're lucky you didn't break it" I look at her knee and there's a little scratch. I open my purse and take out a cotton and alcohol. I put a little amount of alcohol in the cotton before kneeling in front of her.
I dab the cotton on her scratch and she hisses so I blow it a little to lessen the pain. After cleaning it, I throw the cotton to the trash bin and put a puppy themed band aid on her wound.
"T-thank you Minyoung-unnie" is she blushing??? Nahh why would she blush? I just did my job as a doctor and a friend
"You're welcome and how many times did I tell you that just call me comfortably? Whenever someone call me unnie it makes me feel older" she giggled and not gonna lie it's cute
"You want ice cream?" I saw an ice cream vendor so I asked her, she nodded and I got up making my way towards it.
I froze when a certain woman and girl came across to my mind when I saw the vanilla flavored ice cream. I shake my head lightly and tell the guy what am I getting.
After paying, I walk back to Soojin and handed her the cone of ice cream. She thanked me and we started eating our ice cream in silence. My head suddenly turn to her and stare at the features of her face.
She's so beautiful but that CEO is still haunting me...
'Forget about her Minyoung-ah' I said to myself
She probably already forget about me... (she's wrong because that person is always thinking about her since she left)
"Hey are you listening?" I snapped back into reality when Soojin wave her hand in front of my face
"I'm sorry what is it again?"
"You want to go to the hospital together tomorrow?" she asks
"I'm not going to work tomorrow Soo" I lick my ice cream
"Wae??" she look so cute whenever she's asking me something
"Dad is coming back remember?" realization hit her
"Ahh right"
I didn't reply to her anymore and look at my ice cream. I hope me and dad won't argue once we talk to each other.
