3rd person's POV
"Eat more Jinjin-ah" Jiyong said as he put more rice on Jinjin's plate. Jinjin nodded and eat the food his uncle gave her. The three of them are eating their dinner quietly.
"Oppa can you bring Jinjin to school tomorrow?" Heejin said and drink her water
"Wae?" Jiyong asked
"I need to go to Daegu tomorrow, I will meet an investor there" Heejin said and Jinjin slowly put down her spoon
"Sure" Jiyong said
"You forgot?" Jinjin suddenly speak up
"Eh?" Heejin's eyebrows furrowed in confusion
"It's family day at school tomorrow" Jinjin said and Heejin mentally cursed
"You promised me last year that we will join this year, right?"
"But baby mommy has something to do and you just had an asthma attack this morning" Heejin reach out for Jinjin's hand but the kid avoided her mother's hand
"You're always busy" Jinjin said with a frown on her face
"Hyunhee" Heejin called softly
"I hate you" Jinjin mumbled as her tears stream down to her cheeks. She stand up and ran to the stairs.
"Jinjin!" Heejin called but Jinjin just continue
"Kim Hyunhee!" they heard the door slammed and Heejin sighs. It's not the first time that Jinjin acted like that.
She acted like that once when Heejin broke her promise that they will eat ice cream together if Jinjin got first place in the drawing competition at the school. Heejin completely forgot about it because of work and Jinjin ignored her for a day.
She felt a tap on her back and she looks at Jiyong.
"I know she doesn't mean that" he said
"I know oppa..." she said and burried her face to her hands
"I think you should come to the school tomorrow" Jiyong said and Heejin remove her face from her hands
"I can't, I really have to go to Daegu. That meeting was supposed to be held two days ago but I cancelled it because it was Hyunjin and Hyunhee's birthday so I can't cancel it anymore"
'I'm such a bad mother' Heejin thought to herself
"You go to the school and have spend some time with your daughter. I'll go to Daegu and meet that investor" he said and Heejin look at him
"Really?" she asked and he nodded
"Thank you oppa" she hugs him and Jiyong hugged her back
"Make sure to have fun, okay?" Heejin nodded and Jiyong ruffled her hair. They pulled away from each other and Jiyong helped Heejin to bring the dishes to the sink.
"I'll go now Heejinie. Just send me the info through email"
"Thank you again oppa" Jiyong smile at her
"Anytime lil sis" he leaves and Heejin started washing the dishes. After that she go upstairs and see Jinjin already sleeping on her bed.
She walks slowly towards Jinjin, she gently sat on the bed and caress her daughter's face. There's dried tears stain on her cheeks and Heejin wipe it.
"I'm sorry baby" she whispered trying not to wake Jinjin up. She caress her cute little face with her thumb and smile when Jinjin scrunched up her nose.
"Cute" Heejin chuckled and tuck Jinjin's hair behind her ear.
"Good night Hyunhee-yah" she leave a peck on Jinjin's forehead before going to her room.
