Lee Hyunjin's POV
My dad coming back here at Korea today and Minho told me he's going to pick him up. It's been a month since I left Seoul and I'm purposely ignoring my friends' texts. Living and working here is just fine it's not that hard and it's far from what I expected
I lazily got out of the operating room after a six hours operation. I'm exhausted and hungry right now. I saw a patient being brought inside
"Oh my god what happened to her??"
"She got into an accident Doc"
"Oh fuck Gahyeon-ah call a doctor!" the said girl turn to call a doctor only to be stop by the other doctor
"We are the doctor guys" Dami said and the other six cursed
"Oh fuck she's right bring her to the ER now" Minji said and they all went there
I shake my head and went to the changing room. I don't know what crack they are on. I change into a simple blouse and pants. I'm finally getting off work. I stretch out my arms and yawn
"Here" a hand suddenly appear in front of me, holding iced americano
"Take it" I look at her and smile
"Thank you Soojin-ah" I gladly take the iced coffee from her and take a sip
"Tired?" she sat on the bench so I sat beside her
"Yes very" she's Lee Soojin one of my colleagues. She's the first one to approach me on my first day here and we just clicked with each other
"Wanna go somewhere Min?" she look at me and smile. Not gonna lie she's so beautiful and she's nice too. We're both single and most of our free time here in the hospital we're always together that's why the other doctors, nurses and even the patients are teasing us
"Where is it this time Soojinie?" I take a sip of the coffee she gave me while waiting for my answer
"Let's go biking" she said
"Okay" I stand up and gather my things
"I'll pick you up at 3?" she asked and I smile at her
"Okay Soo"
"Take care Min" she smiled and I swear my heart skip a beat
"You too Soojinie" I pat her back and walk outside the hospital. I inhale the fresh air and look at my apple watch. It's just 6AM, I still have time to eat breakfast and sleep
I yawn and walk towards a bakery. I enter the shop and order my favorite bread. I sat on a chair while waiting for it. I took another sip of the iced americano Soojin gave and I automatically smile when I thought of her.
I must be crazy
My order arrived and I thanked the person who brought it. I quickly finished it and let out a satisfied sigh. I got up and walk towards our mansion.
It's just a walking distance from the hospital and the bakery is just across the hospital. I live there alone-- well not really 'cause there's maids living there too and now that dad is coming back we'll be living together there.
The person guarding the gate open it for me and I thanked him before going inside. I open the front door and our maids greeted me, I just showed them a smile 'cause I'm too tired to reply to all of them.
I went upstairs to my room and slumped down to my bed. I didn't bother to change my clothes and let myself fall asleep.
