A good start

Hoseok didn't realise how much he missed this house until today. When he finally went inside, he saw everything out of place. The place looked as if if has not been taken care of.

Of course, how can Hoseok forget about it?

Jungkook is really messy.

Hoseok stood there observing the room when his back collided with the younger's built chest.
The former jerked back and looked up to Jungkook, and broke into a number of apologies.

Jungkook frowned when he realised that Hoseok is still scared of him. He, in fact doesn't even try to look at him while talking.

That hurts.

Maybe that's what I deserve, Jungkook thinks.

"It's okay, you can go and get changed" The younger tried to smile faintly, to lighten the mood.

"But, I didn't bring any of my clothes here" Hoseok answered.

"You can always wear mine"

Huh? Hoseok was unsure of what he heard just now.

It's odd that in their more than one year and counting of staying together, Jungkook never let the elder touch his clothes. The only time he did was the time when the clothes were washed.

"Y-your clothes?" Hoseok's eyes widened, and Jungkook thought that was cute. "You own clothes?"

"Yes, why not?"

"No, nothing. I'm okay" Hoseok went to take a shower. While, Jungkook waited for him outside - something that the elder failed to notice.

After a while, Hoseok came out wearing a shirt that went down to cover a large part of his legs. And, his torso looked swallowed up by the clothes he was wearing.

Jungkook couldn't help but to stare at him for a while.

Beautiful. He indeed is one, Jungkook thinks.

Jungkook never noticed that before.

"I'm done" Hoseok says, Jungkook looked at him.

Hoseok knew the younger wanted to eat, maybe. So, he walked to the kitchen, unless he found his hands being held by Jungkook.

Looking at their intertwined hands, and again at Jungkook, he questioned, "What? You need something?"

"N-no, I don't" Jungkook answered. "You don't have to make my breakfast today, I think you're tired"

Not make your breakfast today? So that the ruler of yours is put to use?

"I'm okay. I can-"

"No, I insist" And, Hoseok had to give in.

Nodding, the older heard a "I'll go and have a shower as well" from the other.

"Okay then" Hoseok said, softly.

And, for quite a while now, they stood still, looking at each other.

"Jungkook? Kookie?"

The said boy blinked his eyes quickly.

"Y-yes?"

"My hands. How can you go and shower if you keep on holding my hand?" He questioned, innocently.

"Oh, y-yes" Jungkook could only manage to say this. "Right, I'll.. I'll go then" He ran into the bathroom.

No matter how scared Hoseok was, this new side of Jungkook made him somewhat happy. He smiled after a long time.

Kookie? He called me that? Jungkook smiled, as he entered into the washroom, and closed the door.

He couldn't help but smile.

Well, that was a good start.
