3rd Person POV

To: Vixen Stryker
From: Jason Pierce

This bad feeling was bubbling in Andy's stomach, his fingers pinching the envelope tighter with every second that passed.

After staring at the letter for a minute, he looked up to the front door of his house and stalked up to it. The moment he opened it, he called for his wife, "Vidalia."

She didn't answer fast enough for his liking, so he called her again in a more stern voice, "Vidalia."

"Yes?" She responded from the kitchen.

He walked up to her, waving the envelope in his hand, "why is there a letter in my mailbox for you from Jason Pierce?"

"Jason?" She furrowed her eyebrows. "The girls and I helped him move out of his place, it's probably about that."

Andy blinked, "...you saw him? ...why didn't you ever tell me about this?"

"Well, after he drove off to California, I honestly forgot about him. I'm sorry for not telling you." She apologized.

"Anything else? Was helping him move the only thing you did with him?"

Vixen frowned, "...what do you mean by that? What are you trying to ask me?"

"What I'm thinking is that we were apart for 40 days, you could've gotten very lonely, and went seeking comfort from Jason."

Wow. Even from California, Jason is putting stress on Vixen's relationship.

She scoffed at Andy's accusation, "so you think that I cheated on you while you were in Germany? Andy, have you lost your mind? Do you know who I am? I'm your wife."

Andy let the envelope drop on the island in front of her, "open it. I want to see what it says."

Without hesitation, Vixen tore the envelope open and whipped the letter out, setting it down for both of them to read.

Vixen,

I've finally settled down in my new home and wanted to write to you to thank you once more. I hope the rest of your life is the most beautiful it's ever been. I promise this is the last you'll hear from me.

All the best,
Jason

"Do you see now?" Vixen asked. "Nothing in this letter is romantic, just a farewell and wishing me a good life."

"Not a good life, a beautiful life." Andy rolled his eyes. He snatched the letter up and crumpled it before throwing it away.

"Andy, I didn't do anything. All I could do while you were away was worry about you. I died every day not knowing where you were. Not once did Jason ever spend a millisecond in my mind. You can ask Dahlia and Veronica-"

"I'm not wasting my time on them," Andy said. "Those women are your family, basically your blood. They wouldn't hesitate to lie to me for you."

Tears started forming in her eyes, "baby, why don't you believe me? When have I ever betrayed you before? Do you really think that little of me?"

All Andy did in response was shake his head and walk away with a pissed expression, "come on, Cujo. Time to go outside."

"Andy, I didn't sleep with Jason!"

He didn't look back as he headed to the basement door.

When he was gone, Vixen wiped her eyes, "what the fuck, man."
