- Elizabeth's Pov - 10 years ago -

"No! I don't want to leave! This is my home!" I screamed as I hung on the door frame. The social worker tried to pry my fingers off the frame. Tried being the word.
"You need to go live with your Father. You need to let go of the door" She calmly said. I can't of been the first kid that refused to leave home.
"Get off me! I won't leave!" I yelled as my head hurt. My left eye felt like it was on fire. The social worker let me go for a moment.
"Urm. Miss. Your left eye is orange?" She looked scared. I took one hand off the frame and held it against my eye "What race are you?"
"Human," I said. That's what I had been told all my life.
"Can I see your eye please?" The lady said as I moved my hand away "Your eye has a white triskle in it. Instead of the pupil but your right eye is normal"
"What does that mean?" I tilted my head.
"That you are a Goddess"
"Is that bad?" I winced. As the Social worker went to speak. I heard a car pull up.
"ELIZABETH!" I spun around and saw my best friend running towards me. I pushed past the social worker and ran to him. Completely forgetting about my eye.
"I didn't think I would see you again!" I cried as I flung my arms around him.
"Where are they taking you?" My best friend held me tighter.
"Other side of the country. They said I have to go live with my Father" I sobbed "I don't want to go"
"I will find you. I don't care how long it takes. I will find you and bring you home to me"
"Promise?" I wiped my eyes.
"I promise" My best friend insisted as he gave me a box. It had a necklace in it. It had the initials E + M on it "I got the same for me made. only mine ain't as girly" My best friend held his up. It was a dog tag that said the same thing.
"Elizabeth. It is time to go" The social worker put her hand on my head. My best friend ran back to his Dad.
"I promise I will find you. We will be together again" He cried. I climbed into the car and looked out the window, Clutching my necklace as the social worker drove off.
"Goodbye Meliodas"

- Present Day -

It has been 10 years since that fateful day when I had to leave my best friend. I was only 10 years old. I hated my Father. My mother ran away from him when she was pregnant with me. Something about hating all Goddess. He didn't treat me like a Father should. He would beat me all the time. He even tried to cut my wings off. Made me do vile stuff. He raped me. Said it was all my fault that he did this stuff to me. I ran away so many times. Each time the social workers would bring me back. Teachers never believed me, They never saw the pain. So I hid the pain. Started cutting my arms and legs as a way of coping with all the bullshit. Being a Goddess had its perks. I could heal all the marks and no one would know.

I got away though. When I was 16, Father threw me out on the streets when I told him I was pregnant. It was only to stop him when he tried to touch me. I lied to save my life. He called me trash and a slut. He never cared. He threw a wad of cash at me and told me to never return.

4 years later, I was sitting in my front room. I was back in my hometown. I had just been fired from my work. I hated my job anyway so I wasn't really fussed. I clutched the necklace between my fingers as I thought about Meliodas.
"I wonder if he remembers me?" I muttered to myself. He would have found someone else to be best friends with. I sighed as I grabbed the Sky remote and flicked threw the channels.
*DING*DONG*
I frowned as I got up from the sofa. I wasn't expecting anyone. I hadn't ordered anything from eBay either so who could it be? I opened the door and a man with silvery-blue hair, Red eyes and a bright red leather jacket, was standing on the porch, Holding a bunch of red roses. He looked familiar. I knew him from somewhere.
"Urm Hello. Can I help you?" I said.
"Is this the resident of Miss Elizabeth Liones?" The delivery man spoke. His voice was like a song.
"Yeah?"
"These are for you" The man handed me the flowers. He grinned and then walked off. I looked down at the flowers in my hands. There was a small note on the base. I closed my door and walked down the hallway into the kitchen. I took the note and put the flowers in the sink for now.

"Elizabeth,
I said I would find you.
Meet me at the town's Fountain tomorrow at 10 o'clock.

Meliodas"

I dropped onto the chair as my hand flew to my mouth. Tears fell from my eyes. He kept his promise. He found me.
