Chapter 33

"Ate Hyeri! You're here!!"

Stella suddenly ran and jumped towards me, squealing. I chuckled as I catched her and hugged her back, not minding my bag's strap falling on my shoulder. Kalalabas ko lang ng kotse at siya agad ang bumungad sa'kin. I didn't even know how she knew that we're coming. Well.. I guess Frost already informed his family about us coming over.

"Naks, close na close kay future sis in-law ah!" Sinamaan ko ng tingin ang barumbadong si Vance na kalalabas lang sa kotse. Ngumisi lang siya sa'kin bago bumaling kay Stella. "Hi, Stella!"

"Hello, kuya Vance!" Stella beamed and waved at Vance.

"Stop talking nonsense, Ishikawa." Bored na sabi ni Frost na kalalabas lang ng kotse. And as usual, nginisian lang siya ni Vance bilang sagot. Hindi naman niya iyon pinansin at nilingon lang ako. "And Stella, get off from your Ate."

"Baba daw kay Ate, Stella." Vance mocked.

"Omo! Is that you Stella?" Lily suddenly squealed as she got off from the car. "Ang laki mo na!"

"Hi Stella!"

Stella just gave them a wide smile. "Hello po!"

"Where's Mom and Dad?" Frost stopped our mini greeting.

"Nasa loob po. Let's go!"

Sumunod kaming lahat kay Stella papasok ng mansyon. Tita Stephanie and Tito Froilan were at the living room waiting for us.

"Hey kids!"

"Hello po!"

We had another mini greeting again before heading towards the dining area for lunch.

"So, you're heading to Wazzar High after lunch?" Tita asked. We all nodded at her. "I hope Gabrielle's in Wazzar. Her life's at risk now."

I know, Tita. Specially now that I sensed something.

"I hope so too, Mom."

We talked about stuffs over lunch. Nagpaalam naman kami na pupunta na sa Wazzar High pagkatapos naming kumain. They said goodluck to us when we left.

We stayed silent inside the car as we drove off to Wazzar High. Lily squealed when we arrived. "We're here! Now, off to principal's office!"

Frost leaded us towards the Principal's Office. The principal smiled at us when he opened the door for us, like he's already expecting us. Maybe Tito already informed him? At ngayon ko lang napansin, sa apat na school na pinuntahan namin, ang Wazzar High lang ang may lalaking principal. It's nice though. He looked approachable, and hospitable.

"Hexen Academy's Mavens? Come in." He opened the door wider and gestured us to come in.

Naunang pumasok ang walang hiyang si Vance. May pasipol sipol pa siya habang pumapasok. Agad naman kaming sumunod sa kanya. Lyndon smiled apologetically at the principal for Vance's behavior.

"I'm Mr. Danilo Cornel, Wazzar High's principal. It's nice meeting you all, Mavens." He greeted us as he placed some folders on the table. "Here are the folders of the adopted students we have here in WH and I already called for an assembly in case you need to search easily."

"That would be great Mr. Cornel." Frost smiled a little.

The principal's wise. He already knew what we needed.

"So, let's go?"

The principal lead us out and we headed towards their gymnasium.
