Secret Messages

So they plan to hunt me down? Let's make this a game shall we? The case file probably has a picture of my real face. Plus they both have met me. A little hair die and makeup for me. Or, as I learned before, I can use the shadows like Kurogiri does his mist.

"Hey look I'm you." I laughed while the shadows danced around me. Kurogiri rolled his misty portal eyes. He was not amused.

" Be serious for once." He said when I shaped the shadows into a goatee. I used the shadows to form my hair into spikes next. This could be great for disguises.

Yeah that was fun. No wonder the class liked having quirks. But right now I can't have fun right now I have to make sure they don't find me. To the general store I go.

Bakugou's POV

I flipped through the case file. There ain't shit in here. No sightings, no clues, not even a fucking hair was found. No wonder they were ready to give up.

" Anything useful?" All Might asked.

" Of course not Old Man. The police ain't got shit on Deku. Stupid nerd has been using his brain for something other than stalking heroes. I may have seen him a few days ago at the general store though. Let's go there first." I slipped the file into my backpack. I went to the station right after school so I didn't drop it off at home.

We got to the general store and I went around the corner to examine the area that I saw him at. Nothing. Not a single thing. Only beer bottles and cigarettes, and unless he had taken up drinking or smoking there's nothing we could use. Wait, what's this.

I pull a piece of paper from my bag and a pencil. I hold the paper gainst the wall and start to lightly rub the pencil across the paper. A hidden message.

Give up.

" Give up? How did you know that was there?" Oh I forgot that he was here.

" It's how we used to send each other messages as kids. We would carve out two vertical lines and one diagonal line to show where the message is. Look over there. Two of them."

    The second one is newer. Is he really that mad? I know I'm the bully in this story but damn. He's supposed to play the part of the timid boy turns into a strong hero. This is almost villainous.

    " What did you do to that young boy?" Oh like you had nothing to do with this.

    " If I was you I'd be worrying about how he's going to deliver his message to you. You haven't established a form to secretly communicate with him." That's when I saw it. Around the corner, on a giant wall, in green spray paint was a single phrase signed by All Might.

"Give up on your dreams and go home"

      " I take it that's what you said to him." He nodded.

    " Why would All Might say something like that?"

    " Symbol of Peace my ass." A crowd had gathered now. People have started to notice. This is bad.
